A Once-in-a-Lifetime Safari with Gosheni – Absolutely Unforgettable!
We recently returned from a safari with Gosheni Safaris, and I can wholeheartedly say it was one of the most memorable trips we’ve ever taken. From the very beginning, the experience was seamless and personalized.
Our coordinator, Norah, was absolutely phenomenal. I had quite a few specific requests and questions, and she worked closely with me through countless emails to create the perfect itinerary. She was always quick to respond, incredibly helpful, and had fantastic recommendations. Thanks to her efforts, we enjoyed excellent accommodations and a well-thought-out itinerary that fit our preferences perfectly.
Our guide and driver, Calvin, truly made the safari special. He was not only highly knowledgeable about wildlife, but also so thoughtful and accommodating. For example, he brought a stool to help my mom comfortably get in and out of the vehicle—just one of many ways he went above and beyond. Calvin's driving was calm and confident, even in the most challenging terrain, and we always felt safe in his hands.
We enjoy a pole pole (slow-paced) safari experience, taking our time to observe and photograph wildlife, and Calvin respected this style completely. Our family, full of scientists, asked a lot of questions—about animals, ecosystems, plants, local culture—and he answered them all with enthusiasm, insight, and often a touch of humor. He was personable, engaging, and incredibly well-versed in everything from tribal customs to animal behavior. He was the perfect guide for us.
One of the highlights of the trip was celebrating my mom’s 65th birthday with a surprise picnic on safari. Gosheni went above and beyond to make it special—complete with a birthday cake, while watching elephants and baboons in a stunningly serene setting. It was magical.
I chose Gosheni after extensive research, in part because they are TATO-registered (Tanzania Association of Tour Operators), which signaled professionalism, safety, and high standards—and they exceeded all expectations.
From tailored itineraries and exceptional staff to beautiful accommodations and unforgettable game drives, Gosheni delivers a truly attentive, top-tier safari experience. I now understand why they receive such glowing reviews, and I’m thrilled to add ours to the list.

Great experience
We went on Safari with our driver Barik for five days.
Barik had incredible wildlife knowledge. He had keen eyes and with his help, we managed to see all the animals of the big 5 on this trip alone, and even a leopard.
We enjoyed it a lot.
Michael was an excellent guide who took great care of my family!
“The trip of a lifetime” for my husband and I and our 3 adult children. Gosheni provided an unforgettable experience with luxurious accommodations, delicious food and unmatched hospitality. Our guide, Michael made certain we saw “the big 5” and so much more! He fit right in with our family, and enjoyed lots of laughs playing cards and sharing stories. I can’t imagine a better trip!!

Incredible experience with Michael!
I cannot speak on behalf of the logistical aspects of Gosheni, but I can speak on the tour and our incredible guide, Michael! Michael was professional, kind, funny, patient, and knowledgeable. He was flexible and catered the experience to what we were hoping for. Michael always had a smile on his face and never complained, even when we were late (everyday). We were lucky enough to see the big 5 thanks to Michael knowing the parks so well. We will miss Michael and are so grateful to have had him as our guide! I definitely recommend Gosheni for your safari.

Our tour operator was extremely helpful and kind.
The communication service was extremely smooth. My family felt very comfortable the whole trip because of our friendly tour guide. I highly recommend using Gosheni and specifically the tour guide, Michael, who accommodated to every request we had. We were able to see the Big 5 and have a wonderful time on the drives. Michael knew everything we asked about the animals and plants! Overall, we had an unforgettable experience.

Incredibly knowledgeable, considerate, and fun.
Had an absolutely incredible time with Gosheni. The tour was great, and we were able to see all of the big five. Our tour guide Michael was excellent and always worked hard to show us something new. Our itinerary was 10 days, and each lodge had impressive service, food, and views. I would highly reccomend Gosheni and Michael to anyone who is looking for a quality safari!

Unforgettable Safari with Bariki
Bariki guided us from 8 am to 6 pm every day for five long days—covering every road in the parks—and he never ran out of energy. With 15 years of experience, he knows the parks like the back of his hand and could answer every question we had, from animal behavior to ecosystem details.
He was always punctual, safety-conscious, and extremely organized, which kept our trip running smoothly. His friendly, down-to-earth vibe added the perfect personal touch without being over the top.
Overall, it was a very good safari experience. We’d highly recommend Bariki to anyone seeking an informative, enjoyable, and professionally guided Tanzanian adventure.

Amazing Safari with very friendly tour guide
We had a great 5 day safari, saw a lot of animals and the accommodations were always very nice with good food. Our tour guide Bariki had incredible knowledge of the animals and always made sure everything was going according to plan. All in all an amazing trip that I can totally recommend!

Best Vacation Ever
There were many tour operator companies in Tanzania that we have to choose from and our family are fortunate to choose Gosheni Safaris Africa for fulfilling and exceeding our expectation for our family’sonce-in-a-lifetime experience.
With all sincerity, all the communications with Ms. Norah were prompt and straightforward. All details were expertly handled. All accommodations were great and everything that was in their control went smoothly.
Recommending also Mr. William, our game drive safari expert, who made our experience smooth and unforgettable.
We visited Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater and Central Serengeti for our game drive safari and the spectacular hot air balloon ride.
