Excellent and kindness
This trip was booked online by a friend and I chose this one after searching for many options. The price is moderate because the travel arrangements for children and the elderly are relatively easy, and all the expected animals have been seen. The itinerary is interesting, the campsite scenery is great, and the food is also delicious. Our guides are Andrea and Habibu, who accompany us all the way every day and drive very hard. They take care of us meticulously, searching for every beautiful moment and answering every question. Finally, because my family member sprained the foot, the guides helped take care of and inquire about wheelchairs at the airport. Thank you very much, and I hope to travel together again if there is an opportunity.

Our guide, Bariki is excellent! He is the BEST!
Bariki’s knowledge is incredible, he would tell us names of each animal, bird and plant, their lifestyle and their specialities. He is very familiar with the parks and absolutely careful and alert in caring for our well-being. He brought us to see many amazing sightings and by the end of our 10 days with him, we feel that we know the animals and birds very well. He kept his jeep spotless because we spent 10 days in the jeep and our windows were so clean for our picture taking. Because of Bariki, I will give a 5 plus!
However, I will give a 3 to the accommodations. Olkarien Eco Safari Camp was leaking, slippery (unsafe) and no hot water for shower. Acacia Tarangire Luxury camp was old and the taps in the shower was not working. The friendliness of the hotel staff made up the short comings but I mentioned it here, hoping Gosheni will maintain the hotel better. The other hotels like Manyara Secret Lodge, Serengeti River Camp and Lions Paw Camp were fine.
For communications and operations, I will give it a 2. We do not get response and had to send reminders. :-(
James was a really great tour operator that guided us through this amazing adventure
Gosheni Safaris Africa was a great company that provided us with any possible goods
Feeling at home
We travelled in a group of 5 people (2 family with a teenager) moving from Kenya to Tanzania (Serengeti, Ngoro Ngoro, Tangarire) and we had the greatest experience among several other safari in Africa. The quality of the guide (Laban in particular) made us feel the welcoming spirit of Tanzania: he anticipated our needs, found nice spots for pic nic, prepared the table with cloth, dishes to serve food that he specifically asked the camp to prepare instead of the lunch box. He is so knowledgeable about animals, birds, plants and culture making everyday a learning and enriching experience. The vehicle are very confortable, clean, with fancy adaptations like the shade to make us travel on bumpy roads at ease. The value for money is compared to the quality of the accomodations, food, services included and to the sense of space of these great parks that don’t give the idea of overtourism. Our most beloved camps: Tarangire Simba Lodge, Zebra River Camp (in Kenya Masai Mara), Mara River Camp (North Serengeti). You need to adapt and pay attention to wild animals but you bring home a feeling of peace and connection with the circle of life. An advise, take a chance to be off line and enjoy the Hakuna Matata spirit

Great tour guide, accommodation mismatch
Our driver-tour guide Bariki is above excellence. He is knowledgeable about the habits of animals in the bush, birds as well as plants. As a result, he made our journey a truly memorable experience. Added to that, Bariki's good sense of humour kept us looking forward to each new day.
Gosheni sold us a mid luxury package which had a couple of disappointing hotels- Olkarien Eco Camp and Acacia at Tarangire. Both are part of the Acacia chain, I would steer clear of them. These were not four star but the former was really below three stars. The Olkarien is badly in need of upkeep. However, the staff at both tried their best and we were happy with their efforts. We also stayed at hotels in the Karibu chain, and those were a cut above.
Gosheni needs an operations person, badly. The sales person who sold us the package started ghosting us just before and at the beginning of the trip. That was terrible.
Overall, Gosheni has to try to ensure a more consistent standard, not just good tour guides.

The guide Albert is very friendly and professional.
I enjoyed this safari trip. Our tour guide Albert is very friendly and very helpful. He picked up both breakfast and lunch every morning. We set out safari game drive from sunrise to sunset . We saw all big 5 animals and a ton of birds. I definitely would recommend Albert to my friends.

An Unforgettable Safari with an Exceptional Guide
We are nearing the end of a wonderful 8-day safari with Gosheni Safaris Africa, and it has exceeded all our expectations. From the very beginning, the experience has been seamless and unforgettable.
Our driver and guide, Albert, is truly exceptional. With years of experience, he has an incredible ability to anticipate animal movements and take us exactly where the action is. Thanks to his sharp eye and deep knowledge of the parks, we have seen rare and elusive wildlife — lions, cheetahs, and a leopard — and witnessed the breathtaking sight of thousands of wildebeests gathered on the riverbank, zig-zagging all day long. Although we haven’t seen a river crossing yet, tomorrow morning we still have a few hours to try before heading to Zanzibar.
Albert is not only a highly skilled driver, navigating challenging terrain with ease, but also a passionate guide who genuinely loves what he does. His expertise, patience, and warm personality have made every day enjoyable and exciting.
We are deeply grateful to Gosheni Safaris Africa for organizing such a fantastic trip and to Albert for making it truly memorable. We would wholeheartedly recommend this company — and especially Albert — to anyone looking for the safari of a lifetime.
