Adventure and fun
My family and I booked a 3-day safari with a guide in Spanish with the company Karibu safaris in Kenya and we couldn't have been luckier with the guide they assigned us. Dennis is an expert guide who speaks incredible Spanish and is super fun, on top of that he is a real Maasai! which helps a lot to understand his culture. 100% recommended

Cars completely uninhabited and in need of repair. Too many and long car breakdowns.
We were picked up from our accommodation, but in a very different place from our hotel, dropped off by zhe driver on the road. Despite our please to help us, he drove off on the grounds that he had to pick up people from the airport. This situation was NOT safe for us as women, especially as we had all our luggage with us.
The following has to be mentioned about the Tour: The trip with our jeep on the first two days was very pleasant, that the driver was very familiar with the road holding and conditions. His driving style was extremely professional. The problem is that we had a 45 minute breakdown after only a short time after the departure, because the radiator was defective. This took away precious time from our Masai Mara Tour.
We liked the accommodation in the ENCHORO WILDLIFE CAMP because of the very good and personal service very much. However, we are not sure if it really was this camp!
Day 3: Masai mara/L.Nakuru: We were assigned a new driver, another car, other people who had already established a friendship in the previous 2 days. It made you feel like an outsider. The bus was completely overcrowded. All the seats were occupied and far too much luggage was loaded. Sitting was possible only to a limited extent, even though we do not have long legs! The drinking water that was booked was distributed only after repeated demand, after many hours. 500 ml over that long period of time, after so many hours of waiting, just not correct. Why does the driver moult the drinking water like that?
Day 4: Day Lake Nakuru/Nairobi: On our way out of the Maasai area, our bus got stuck, so the passengers had to push the bus out of the mud, as the two buses were blocked. The entire day had to be spent with dirty clothes and smeared skin. It also happened that we had a broken axle on the way. During these, over three hours of repair, we stood by the road in sunnier heat. That time was missing from the Lake Tour.
In hindsight, it should be noted that the cars provided do not match the conditions for such trips. The cars are too old and too fragile. As travellers, this cost us a lot of time from our holiday.

Wouldn’t change a thing!
We booked onto the 3 day budget Nairobi - Masai Mara safari, and our guide was Sami. Everything was thought of, our accommodation was comfortable and the food was lovely. Sami was knowledgeable, patient and a pleasure to spend time with. He took our individual requests into account and maximised our time in the park to see as much as possible. I would 100% recommend booking with Karibu Safaris and Sami.

Did not comply with the reservation
We had hired a guide in Spanish, they guaranteed it and the guide who accompanied us had only done a 6 month course so we had to communicate with him through the phone application, which made it impossible to give us explanations about the safari, sites, animations, etc.. The guide who spoke English did not give any indication or explanation to other travelers who came with us. Horrible treatment of the guides.

Excellent planning and a memorable experience
Our guide Kevin was phenominal and went above and beyond in helping us seeing big 5 and ugly 5. Not only this, his punctuality and planning skills are remarkable.
On a side note, just by making a phone call, he knows where a Cheetah is relaxing, pride of lion is sleeping and a leopard is hiding :)
Would highly recommend to have Kevin as a guide!

Efficient, dedicated and most competent staff, with a first class driver
Excellent communication with the tour operator, who replied to all our questions quickly, even during weekends and evenings. We did a three days Masai Mara safari and saw all the big five, even a rhino, because our driver Edward communicated efficiently with other drivers and rangers and was able to locate all animals. Although most of the roads were muddy and under water, unlike many other 4x4 vehicles, we never got stuck in the mud or got in any trouble. Edward is a first class driver, we felt safe all the time. He was also attentive to all our needs with discretion and good will. Best value for money. We will use the services of this operator again

Best budget safari you could find to Amboseli National Park (3 days)
We booked a 3 day budget safari to Amboseli National Park and we were satisfied with the whole trip. We stayed at Manjaro tented camp, the location was amazing, the food was delicious, we were given typical kenyan dishes, the view was breathtaking, the staff made us feel at home. Our driver (Kevin) made sure that we saw as many animals as possible. Overall it was possibly our best first safari we could have been hoping for. Definitely going back with Karibu Safaris for a longer adventure.

It was awesome! Best value for the money!
Bardzo Polecam! Nasz kierowca i przewodnik Kewin, zrobił super robotę. Noclegi były wygodne i w akceptowalnym standardzie.

Highly recommended! Our driver and guide, Kewin, did an excellent job. We opted for a 7-day safari, and honestly, we were a bit concerned about what we would get in the budget option, but I can confidently say that the trip exceeded our expectations. Kewin was always available and helpful. We saw a lot of animals, including both white and black rhinos. We cycled through the Hell's Gate National Park and explored a Maasai village in the Masai Mara. The accommodations were comfortable and in an acceptable standard. There was always hot water and mosquito nets to protect us from mosquitoes. The food was tasty but a bit repetitive, although it's worth noting that it's more a regional issue than a problem with the tour. Everything was well-planned, and we had everything we needed. At one point, Kewin suggested a change in the itinerary due to the remaining time, and it turned out to be a fantastic decision! Thanks to that, we had great weather while cycling, and the time it rained, we spent in the car on our way to Amboseli Park. The only thing I would change is the accommodation in Nakuru, as it was not as clean, and the food was not up to par with the rest. In summary, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend it.

Excellent guide Edward, responsibility and fast communication with the company
If I compare this company with other safaries which I have an experience (2 other), this is definitely the best. Main reasons: good and fast communication, time responsibility and responsibility at all. We have a very successful trip to Masai Mara, Nakuru, Naivasha, Amboseli.
Special thanks is for guide and driver Edward. He's really professional guide and driver. He has a big knowledge about african nature. He can easily explain you every question you have about it because it's also his hobby. For birdwatchers like me I definitely recommended to take this guide. He is also very responsible driver. We've seen many safari cars stuck in the mud because of big rain. Once he helped one car to put out from the mud. Many times went through much more muddy roads and we didn't stuck. He kept the car clear after every dirty driving. He went to preventing check the car for avoid a problem. He drove more than 8 hours in this horrible kenyan traffic situation, no problem, hakuna matata.
