A truly memorable experience.
A truly memorable experience.
The 5-day safari program is an excellent opportunity to discover the country's rich and exuberant wildlife — and as a bonus, enjoy a taste of local culture and delicious food.
The tour operator Jocky Tours is very well organized and punctual. They offer different package options depending on your budget, mainly varying by accommodation style. The service includes hotel-to-hotel transportation: they pick you up at your hotel, take you to the safari and lodges, and drop you off at your next hotel afterward. The itinerary is well-structured, so all you need to do is hop in and out of the vehicle and take lots of photos. We booked through SafariBooking, which has a very efficient reservation and payment system.
And if your safari happens to be with John Walter of the Jungle, then you're in for the full experience. Friendly, kind, knowledgeable, and an excellent driver and guide, John is incredibly attentive to everyone's needs. He’ll do everything he can to make sure you spot the Big Five — even if the lion insists on hiding under a bush! A true expert on Kenyan wildlife and culture, his insights added even more depth and meaning to the journey.
Thank you, John and Jocky. I chose Kenya to celebrate my birthday, and you gave me an experience I will never forget.

Dream Tour in Kenya
I loved the trip …
Kenya has such an amazing fauna . I have enjoyed the full trip .
I can say the agency is very good everyone is soo polite and caring . Always checking on you and informing you about the surroundings and the activities . My guide was Jhon, he has been amazing, very knowledgeable about the fauna, places and some history of several places in Kenya too. Thanks for these 5 amazing days 😊😊

Magical time in Kenya 🇰🇪
Firstly - I had a fantastic time on safari in Kenya & would recommend to anyone! I’m going to break the parts down below for more information on each section.
1. The Tour Company - ⭐️⭐️
Honestly, the worst part of the whole thing was the actual tour company. I had food poisoning the day we were going, and I waited over an hour and forty minutes for the driver to pick me up from the hotel because they told me to be ready at the wrong time. They stopped replying to my emails or picking up the phone so I had no idea what was happening, which when you’re that unwell isn’t ideal. They also managed to mess up us leaving with the boat tour (aka hadn’t sorted us transportation back to Nairobi that would allow us to complete the trip with the boat trip!!!!), so we had to fight to be able to do both aspects after they told us we would just have to go back to Nairobi (having done only a two hour game drive that day). As I was dropped back in Nairobi the driver asked me to pay for the trip so I then had to sort that out with them as well (hard to sort when they aren’t very communicative). Also you do just hand over the cash to someone who picks you up, no receipt etc, which I found quite stressful. So all in all wasn’t very impressed with them as they made the trip much more stressful than needed!
2. Sir Charles - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Charles was the BEST tour guide and helped us to sort out the issues we had. He has a magical gift for finding the animals and was always talking to everyone else to make sure that we got to see everything! My friend has lived there for a year and not seen half the animals we saw (e.g. male lions everyday and even a leopard!). Make sure you ask for Charles (I’m considering going back later this year and definitely will be asking for Charles again!!!)
3. Accommodation - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I went for Jambo Lodge & Lake Nakuru Lodge. Firstly, the people in both were so so nice, which really helps to make the experience. The food in Jambo was not fab (although I think recovering from food poisoning took away from it slightly ahaha) & the pack lunch was definitely the worst of the three camps. The pool was also out of action which I was v sad about. The room was beautiful though and the bed really comfy, I would definitely stay there again (but take snacks). Lake Nakuru Lodge, the sunset was magical here and the pool was great! The food here was also really good. The room, however, was not as nice - the glass door to outside was broken and it had an older feel. I would umm and ahhh over staying here again, but the sunset might persuade me to!
Boat trip - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Absolutely loved the boat trip, I would say that is worth the money! You get to see an island that just has animals on it and hippos, Ken was also really nice!
All in all you should definitely go on safari and ask for Charles - he made the trip for me. A few things the tour company can improve on, but the memories make up for it.

Kikitu is a bundle of energy, equipped with both knowledge and commitment to deliver above & beyond
For our first time visiting Africa, our group collectively felt blessed that we had been randomly paired with Kikitu. He made waking up at sunrise actually enjoyable because we were met with his contagious enthusiasm. Kikitu delivered on all fronts, and I appreciated that beyond making sure we had a front row to the top tier animals on the safari he would check in on us to make sure we were comfortable, if we needed water or the washroom. I appreciate the attention to detail!

They were quick and efficient and made me feel taken care of.
It’s a bit nerve-racking selecting a safari online and without a travel agent, but Jocky Tours made the experience so nice especially for someone on a budget. All of my questions were answered quickly and taken care of, even my extra accommodation request for my group. I would highly recommend booking with Jocky Tours!

Kikitu had an unwavering enthusiasm and acute knowledge of Maasai Mara for a large tourist group.
Experience was FANTASTIC. Tour guide made the entire experience by being one of the friendliest, knowledgeable, and experienced tour guides I’ve ever had for safari or similar tour experiences. He found the best spots to drive up to observe wildlife in Maasai Mara and was always giving us introductions to new species. His enthusiasm was unmatched and truly made the experience a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Capturing Magic in the Wild: A Safari Adventure to Remember!
We recently had the pleasure of booking a tour with Jocky Tours & Safaris, and my boyfriend and I cannot speak highly enough of the experience. From the moment we booked, their communication was excellent, ensuring we had all the details we needed. The booking process was seamless, the itinerary was well thought out, and everything was handled with professionalism.
A special shout-out goes to our tour guide, Dennis, whose warmth, kindness, and deep knowledge made the trip truly unforgettable. He went above and beyond to ensure everyone felt comfortable and engaged, answering all our questions with patience and sharing fascinating insights that brought the sights and stories to life.
One of the highlights was when Dennis helped us capture one of the most unforgettable moments of our safari—not just one but two leopards enjoying their meal in the wild. That moment was surreal, and Dennis went above and beyond to make sure we got the perfect view and angle!
We’d especially like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Dennis for coordinating and making sure that we receive our delayed luggage as swiftly as possible. It meant a lot to us.
If you’re considering a safari tour in Kenya, don’t hesitate to book with Jocky Tours & Safaris. And if you’re lucky enough to have Dennis leading your group, you’re in for something truly special.
We highly recommend this company for anyone looking for a seamless and enriching African safari experience!
