Leroy best guide ever
Amazing experience, we did the 4 days Masaai Mara and lake Nakuru tour, but I would suggest to do one more day at Masaai Mara because the experience is unique. Any word would not be enough to describe our guide Leroy: he ensured everything was on point, he answered all our questions, his deeply knowledge of the animal environment top off the trip, thanks to his amazing drive and passion we were able to spot all the animals.
Regarding Jockey Tours, the driver was on time the first day of the trip and he took us to an office where they gave us the receipt (we decided to pay everything in advance with extra 5% charge). We stayed at Jambo Mara (very nice) for the first two nights but the third night we did not stay at the hotel that was mentioned in the receipt because there were no rooms available… I would suggest a better organization. Moreover, in the program was mentioned only Masaai Mara and lake Nakuru, but we only did an afternoon game drive at Nakuru and the last morning we did the excursion at lake navaisha that was optional (but if you did not want to, there were no other options available to do something else - and on the program was mentioned a fee of 20usd, we paid 50usd, please update the price). I was a bit disappointed because I thought we would do two game drives at lake Nakuru. For sure 90% of our experience became from ok to amazing thanks to Leroy, we could not ask for a better guide for these days.

This is a standardized and well-established safari company
First, I compared fewer than 10 companies on safari.com, then shortlisted 5 based on their itineraries, pricing, and the smoothness of initial communications. After that, I checked their reviews on TripAdvisor and Google, and finally chose Jocky Tours and Safaris,Facts have proven that this was a correct choice.Minneh and I exchanged multiple rounds of emails. Throughout the process, Minneh patiently and carefully answered all my questions, and, as I requested, selected the best camps within the same category. When we arrived at the last camp, it wasn't the one specified in the contract, but it was much better than the contracted one. The meals were absolutely fantastic—I feel like our group put on a lot of weight during this trip. The concern that we might not find food we liked in Kenya turned out to be completely unfounded.
But above all, I want to express my gratitude to our driver-cum-guide, John—I hope I haven't misspelled his name. As someone with 17 years of driving experience myself, John is the best driver I've ever seen. The roads along the safari route were not good, yet he thoughtfully avoided almost all situations that would cause the vehicle to jolt. He also tried his best to keep us from trailing behind other vehicles and getting covered in dust. With him leading the way, you're sure to see all the animal species you could imagine, because he is so dedicated and capable.

6 day Kenya safari
We had a great time on our 6 day budget safari trip to Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli. Our guide Joseph was wonderful, very knowledgeable, friendly, kind and we felt very safe with him as we traveled by road across Kenya.

Fantastic Tour, Fantastic Guide!
I absolutely recommend this tour, and especially this tour guide, Andrew/Kabaya!
I did the 7-day safari, joining a group, and had a wonderful time. We saw so many animals, in such beautiful landscapes. The group was really fun, a mixture of people from China, Italy, Iraq, and the US. The hotels and campgrounds we stayed in were really nice. (The camps were more like glamping than camping.) The company was very communicative when I emailed and called, and took care of literally everything.
Finally, our tour guide, Andrew was absolutely splendid. He knew so much about the flora and fauna, and was so thoughtful and communicative with us. (And he was a great driver.)
Thank you Jocky Tours and Andrew for a wonderful safari!

The only thing regret we suppose to stay Manjaro Tented Camp site Near to the natural .but we was shifted to Amboseli Gateaway resort.

50% trust, lack of clarity
If you book the 4-day tour (Masai Mara + Lake Nakuru), be sure to carefully review the detailed itinerary they send you. It may differ from the one originally advertised, and the changes aren’t always obvious.
On Day 3, the program mentions a possible boat tour depending on timing — but this never happens, even though you arrive around 14:00, which would allow enough time for an activity.
In fact, the driver confirmed to us that nothing was planned at all for that afternoon — he told us this first thing in the morning, clearly indicating that this was known in advance.
So, on Day 3, expect only a 4-hour drive and not activity. This does not depend on arrival time! It is a saving for them not offering an activity on the 3rd day!
The experienxe itself was great but there is clear a lack of clarity.

What an amazing experience in Africa
We joined a 3 days safari tour to Masai mara. And it is much much more fun and exciting than what we expected. Especially our guide James Gichina, he is an amazing driver, excellent guide with professional knowledge and driving skills to show us how’s all the animals. He focused on the game drive and we were amazed by how skilfully and quickly he found the animals.
Great appreciation for James Gichina again!

Great Game Drive
The game drive was great, saw a lot of animals. Driver James Gichina is skilful and tries his best to deliver us what we want. We saw cheetahs, lions, elephants, even leopard. We felt James was trying way more than other drivers, and he rushed to animals as he got the intel. The overall experience of the safari is very impressive.
