AMAZING
Our safari trip was simply AMAZING! Our tour guide and driver, Steve went above and beyond to make sure we not only saw the animals but were up close. We got lucky to see a lioness’s with their cubs up close. Steve made sure we were good throughout the trip and gave us fun facts about the animals as we saw them. Really a mesmerizing experience that had both my boyfriend and I speechless. Would def recommend 10000%!

Exceeded expectations
Being a budget tour I was not sure what to expect. But I would definitely recommend jocky tours to anyone wanting a very good lodgings and homemade food in enormous quantities. All the lodgings were comfortable, more so than what I am used to! The best part, though, was Francis the Faru, our guide. Best ever, really put in the effort to get us the maximum sitings and best experience. Maybe the rest of the guides are as great or maybe we were lucky to have Francis.

Concierge-level Safari experience in the Maasai Mara!
If you are seeking the authentic Safari experience with like-minded individuals who love nature, animals, and travel, then this is the concierge-level tour for you… Everything is handled as you embark in Nairobi, beginning with a lively ride with stops & your choice of accommodations that range from camping to boutique.
Arrive at camp at the gates of the Massai Mara.. We chose the camping experience, functional tents with running water and electricity that were perfect. The ladies at the camp do a marvelous job making home-cooked meals and providing a cozy atmosphere with a campfire each night!
But the star of the show is a great guide. Any Safari attendee knows that that makes all the difference in the world. Our guide/driver was Johnny and he was spectacular - his ability to communicate with the other guides in the park to see in which directions the animals were traveling, together with his ability to unobtrusively position our Land Cruiser so we could get unfettered fantastic views of the animals totally made the trip for us! Amazing!
By the end of the trip, everyone in our vehicle was friends, and unanimously agreed it was because of Maasai village friends & our great guide Johnny.
Great experience and value for the $$$.

Better than expected
This was my first Safari and I usually never do tours with companies or operators. But the experience was wonderful, the organization for the natural reserves and the places to sleeps was very good. Our guide was Francis ("The Faru") always had a good attitude, a nice smile, very respectful with the animals, a very experienced guide that I would recommend 100%

Jockey tours loved up to its expectations, Albert really went above and beyond for us.
Our guide Albert did everything he could to ensure we saw what we wanted to see, and we're in the right spot to see it.
He was flexible, adaptive and punctual.
If there was anything I could wish was done better, it would be the upkeep of the (still very durable and spacious) troopies (cars). Ours needed maintenance twice; both in relation to the wheels; the hub and the brakes.
It was serviced outside of our time, but both issues did have a slight effect on our safaris. But other than car upkeep, everything was BANG on.
Also, if you can, DEFINITELY go mid-range package. The accom would out of this world incredible.

Fantastic
We had the most incredible experience on our safari tour. Jocky Tours was very responsive from the get-go... I had a million questions before we left and they replied faster than any other company. Also great value for money- we would highly recommend the mid range option, as the accommodation was amazing and a great way to end each day. Albert our guide didn't miss a beat with finding all the big 5 and more. We were blown away with what we saw and experienced.

Very good
Safari schedule is good and you have worked hard to find Big 5. Camp is also satisfactory. Thank you Johnny Jackson

Jocky Tours always responded immediately to all my questions! Very efficient!
Dennis was our driver and without him the tour would have been much less successful. He was punctual, helpful but most of all an excellent driver! We did 1 1/2 day Masai Mara and half day Lake Nakuru and a boat tour on Lake Nevasha.
The safari was one success after the other. We saw 4 of the big 5. A hunt and kill of an impala by 3 cheetahs. Lionesses with their cubs enjoying a buffalo. Hippos, rhinos, wildebeests, zebras, pumbas, giraffes, baboons, tortoises, impalas, lions, gazelles, buffaloes, waterbucks, cheetahs, flamingos, crocodiles, pelicans, monkeys, lots of birds. I think we saw everything except for leopards. We stayed in a tent camp the first two nights. Lovely set up, hot water and shower and toilet inside. 3 rd night we stayed in a very luxurious hotel, not necessary but ooooh so nice. All in all perfect organisation by Jockey Tours.

Good safari company for Group joining
we traveled for 2 days Masai Mara. We stayed at simple camp Accommodation called LENCHADA TOURIST CAMP simple food and very good staff More importantly, our guide was exceptional and got us to the right places at the right time for amazing photography. Quality of the guides is the single most important factor in a successful safari and leroy did meet our expecation, Jocky excels at this and has well designed program for group joining ,Leroy advised us to start our safari at 6am at first we thought it was crazy but 30 minutes after leaving the camp it was still dark we came a cross a hippo that was grazing,he told us that we should be patient cause something was about to go down, the hippo was granting ,he informed us that the hippo was pregnant and would concieve any minute in less than an hour the mother hippo concieved the baby it amazing of how protectective the mother was i tell you that sighting beats all the other animals that we saw on the safari and that was the highlight of the safari with our excellent guide Leroy
