Everything went extremely smoothly from booking to accommodations, food and our tour guide., Shafino. Even the food in the wild was great, shafino is kind, a great animal photographer and extremely knowledgeable about the animals, birds, history, terrain and all things Tanzanian. He has 23 years of experience and it made a huge difference. Great communications with main office and friendly staff throughout the whole 9 day safari

Simply the best!
Just came back from an amazing safari with Lion King Adventures.
Not our first safari, but the best by far!
The company – Lion King: great itinerary, the extra touches: hot picnic lunches (while others carried brown bags), diligence in catering to individual customer’s needs, extra cushions to make the driving over bumpy roads a lot less painful and the list goes on…
The guide – Richard: passionate about his job, highly knowledgeable and competent, pleasant to be around (which is very important when you spend many days together), always goes the extra mile for his customers.
We experienced so many fascinating encounters with animals, stayed in great hotels, it was the trip of our lives!
Will always recommend Lion King Adventures and Richard to anyone interested in an African safari.

Our safari was incredible, thanks to Lion King Adventures and its guide/driver, Shafino.
We like everything about Lion King Adventures, and are thrilled with our choice. My friend and I chose the 9-day safari to the northern Serengeti, and we were guided/driven by an excellent, experienced guide, Shafino. We loved the lodge, camping and glamping accommodations, the meals, the entertainment, and the genuine feeling of welcome at each location. We also much appreciated the built-in converters for charging our American-style electrical plugs. Shafino was the highlight of our safari, and his years of experience and knowledge and his passion for the animals and birds of the Serengeti were evident all along the way. We would happily travel with him again.

Knowledgable about the animals. Great host while driving us around.
Went from late May to early June, would recommend this time, very little rain and the weather was perfect. Not during peak season so nothing was overly busy. Great pick up from the airport. Hotels were all very nice. Food was better than expected and had nice chicken/beef with rice and sides everyday for lunch.

Everything was fabulous!
I would HIGHLY recommend Lion King Safaris AND specifically our marvelous tour guide, Immanuel Chamboa. He was wonderful and absolutely determined that we would miss nothing, even when we were ready to give up. As a result, we saw two black rhinos, a leopard, and two cheetahs, along with countless wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, impalas and other types of antelope, and many, many lions. Within the parks there were actually animals everywhere, but we also saw the hard-to-spot ones, due to Immanuel's diligence. We also waited to see an absolutely classic, National Geographic-worthy wildebeest crossing of the Mara River during the Great Migration. Immanuel looked after every detail. Our jeep was always clean, no matter how dirty it got from the copious dust, and stocked with cold water in the morning. Also, Lion King makes sure you have a beautiful hot lunch every day, served on actual plates with flatware. Most others had unappealing boxed lunches but ours was always delicious, prepared at the lodges and Immanuel took measures to be sure it was kept hot and clean. I cannot recommend it more emphatically. FYI our safari was 9 nights, 10 days in Tanzania - Serengeti National Park (two locations), Tarangire NP, and Ngorongoro. It was truly a trip of a lifetime.

Pendo went above and beyond to help us with every detail, she was amazing! She responded timely
We had Gilbert as our Safari driver/ tour guide. He was amazing. He always tried to accommodate our desires. He was always on time and reliable. He was knowledgeable about animals and birds and was able to answer all questions we had about them as we saw them in the wild. The accommodations were amazing, except for LBORU Lodge, it’s was not good, although the food was good the rooms themselves were awful! Other than that one. Ever where else was amazing! We also used their driving service for other non safari experiences , they were always on time. The whole company was alway friendly and accommodating.
Money well spent, best vacation ever!

Responsive, organized, efficient, profession, incredibly easy to communicate with and flexible.
Overall our experience with LKA (Lion King Adventures) was incredible. From start to finish they were responsive, reliable and easy to communicate with. They were incredibly accommodating and worked with us to make the trip of our dreams unique and special. We added on a portion of the trip in Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar and LKA easily accommodated and orchestrated these additions. Overall the money spent with LKA was reasonable for the services provided and in comparison to other tour companies we looked into. Our guide Ozzie was personable, knowledgable and a pleasure to be around for the entire 3 weeks. Ozzie made the trip one we will never forget and we are so grateful. We never had to worry about transportation, accommodation or food after setting ground in Tanzania. We would recommend LKA for anybody looking for an individualized and unique adventure of a lifetime.

Lion King Adventures were incredible. Prior to our safari they were in communication with us to find out what we wanted to achieve with our safari and to find out if we had any special requirements.
Airport and accommodation transfers were always according to plan and the standard of food and accommodation was first class.
The safari vehicle was superb, always clean and well provisioned, and had multiple power points to keep our devices powered up.
Mwita, our driver and guide was world class and we were privileged to have him guide us on this safari. His knowledge, energy, patience, professionalism and willingness to go the extra for us must make the very best guide. We can’t speak highly enough of him.

An outstanding experience. One of the most professional tourism operators we have dealt with anywhere in the world. Incredibly responsive and thorough in the planning phase. Perfectly balanced itinerary and choice of camps and lodges. Then wonderful guiding by Ozzie - exceptional knowledge, eagle eyed animal spotting, safe driving and great friendly, personality. Topped off by a spectacular mass wildebeest river crossing -all down to Ozzie's first rate navigation and judgment.
