Charlie, brings wildlife encounters right up close for an unforgettable experience.
Our safari with Suricata Safaris was absolutely incredible, all thanks to our guide, Charlie. He is warm, super easy to chat with, and unbelievably knowledgeable about the wildlife.
We spotted 38 different animal species—not even counting the birds!—and Charlie always knew exactly how to position us so I could get the best photos up close. The food was another huge win: fresh, healthy, delicious hot meals instead of boring boxed lunches. Charlie truly made this a once-in-a-lifetime trip that I’ll never forget. I couldn’t recommend him or Suricata Safaris more!

Fantastic safari, led by capable guides
We have had our 1st ever safari with suricata and must say the trip has surpassed all expectations. We managed to see all big 5 five animals plus countless more. Charles was a knowledgeable, helpful guide and driver. Always made sure we got to see everything we wanted. His driving was fantastic and talked to us about all we saw. Accommodation great. Loved it.

Overall professional operator and great Safari experience
We booked the Safari a month in advance and planned the tour with a contact from Suricata on WhatsApp. They provided a tailored Safari schedule and included our special requests in the itinerary. The day before the Safari, the briefing was quite spontaneous and could have been a bit more detailed. However, the Safari trip was great and well planned, with very good accommodations, food and hospitality. Our tour guide Jeremy was an amazing driver, he made sure we saw everything and we felt very safe. However, if you would prefer to get more information on the animals and surroundings, we would suggest to include this in your request to Suricata. Overall, great experience, very thankful that we were able to do the Safari!!

My experience was a 5-day group camping safari with Suricata Safaris,The best......
I just finished a 5-day safari with Suricata Safaris and am absolutely delighted with the experience I had over the course of 7 days with them. I handled everything from the start with Ayman, who organized the trip exactly as I wanted and even made adjustments to ensure I got the best possible safari experience. I was lucky enough to have my great friend Amos as a guide, along with Simon—a fantastic companion; both guides always sought out the best angles for us to take beautiful photos of unforgettable moments. The entire staff—from the cooks, who prepared delicious, hearty meals, to the logistics team—ensured I had everything I needed at my disposal. I even had the chance to do the Materuni tour, thanks to the tremendous effort of the Suricata team, who woke up very early to make it happen; Faustino and the driver are special people, and spending the day with them was great fun. I highly recommend Suricata Safaris; they are true experts on wildlife and know exactly how to create a safari that stays with you for a lifetime. It was a life-changing experience—trust Suricata, as they will do everything to ensure you have a fantastic safari.
