Hospitable
We took the 5-day safari tour starting and ending in Arusha. Our driver, Melita, who was also our guide, had an excellent instinct when it comes to finding rare animals and getting very very close to them that you can take pictures with your phone without zooming in!
The lodge, the two lodged tents which we stayed at, were really comfy and had some very delicious food and very attentive staff.
We booked the midrange option but it almost felt like a luxury experience.
Would highly recommend taking this tour.
Also the chef who prepared our lunch boxes, Tito, was an excellent chef and I can’t remember an ok meal that I had, almost all of them were very tasty.
If I had to skip one of the parks, it would be Lake Manyara. It had lots of hornets and nothing you wouldn’t see in Serengeti or Ngorongoro parks.

Wonderful experience in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater
I was in the process of looking for a 3 day solo private safari in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. I was in discussion with multiple companies, but Suricata Safaris was the most responsive. From landing in Arusha and out, the safari tour was stress free. My guide, Frederick, was attentive and took his time showing and discussing each animal encountered. The accommodations booked in the mid-range safari were clean and comfortable. Looking forward to my next safari and will be going with Suricata Safaris in the future.

Great safari with Suricata 🙂
We had an amazing experience, Adam, our guide did his best to see all the animals from our lists, to have the best places to take pictures, he gave a lot of information about the fauna and vegetation. The places where we slept were cozy and clean, very good food too. I strongly recommend Suricata Safari if you want to descover wildlife in best conditions.

Smooth, comfy, fun, and excellent experience
Our 4 day safari was amazing. My family and I got to see some amazing views and animals. Our tour guide Filex was absolutely amazing. He was friendly, passionate, and genuine all while providing us with great depth about the animals, culture, and nature. The process itself was easy and smooth. Accommodations were comfortable and hospitality was the best. Food was delicious

Super knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure we saw all the animals we were hoping to see.
I had the most amazing time on this safari. Our guide, Adamu, was the best—super knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure we saw all the animals we were hoping to see. Every day felt like a new adventure, and we never felt rushed.
The food was a real surprise—in the best way! I’m vegetarian, and Tito, our chef, made sure I had tons of healthy and delicious options. Honestly, the meals were a highlight on their own.
Everything was really well organized, and the team helped with absolutely everything. I didn’t have to worry about a thing.
Can’t recommend it enough!

Unforgettable experience with amazing wildlife, great food, and a brilliant guide!
Incredible trip! The highlight was seeing a cheetah and her cubs. The Serengeti and Ngorongoro were absolutely stunning, and camping in such beautiful places was unforgettable. The food was great, and our driver Shabani was fun, knowledgeable, and made everything easy.

Nice experience
We had a great experience on our Safari! Our guide Rocky was a nice guide who you could have a good laugh with and he could tell us everything about the parks and also about the animals that were there. The accommodations are also good, you get a tent with a mattress and a sleeping bag. You have washrooms and also a dining area. Every evening they cook fresh for you and then you get a box with food for lunch. The food is very varied, we never had the same thing. All in all it was a great experience that will always stay with us.

Adventure and great experience!! 🦁
Our trip was an absolutely amazing experience! We were fortunate to have a fantastic tour guide who really enhanced our journey. Thanks to them, we had the incredible opportunity to see a wide variety of animals in their natural habitat. The camping tents were surprisingly comfortable and well-maintained. Waking up to the beautiful sunrise and the sounds of animals nearby was truly magical. The food was also a standout highlight. We enjoyed a diverse range of dishes, and everything tasted absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for adventure and a close connection with nature!

Amazing Safari experience
The Safari was an incredible experience and our guide Felix was the best! He had many years experience leading tours, super knowledgeable about the ecology and wildlife, and he had a real knack for finding us the best animal sightings. Plus I really appreciated that Suricata was the only company I could find to match a solo traveler with a group! (It was outside the high season, maybe more companies offer it in high season.)
I felt safe, comfortable, very taken care of the whole time. Definitely recommend, and midrange definitely felt well worth the upgrade over tent camping — very plush (except the first night in Arusha at SG Premium Lodge, which felt a bit run down.) Overall magical experience, highly recommend Suricata!
