Outstanding tour from start to finish
From the initial email communication through Antonia asking for a quote everything was clear and easy to arrange.
We were provided with all our flight details for the several flights we needed, met at the airport with a name sign and taken straight into the Serengeti safari mode. Our guide was Frank and I have to say he was amazing. He was so knowledgeable about everything we asked, he managed to find all the big five and more….it was amazing.
First night we stayed in the tented lodge which was really comfortable, outdoor and indoor shower, great beds and all the mod cons you need. Again the staff at the lodges were amazing, Rahema the manager couldnt do enough for us.
Second day we again drive around the Serengeti and then left for our next accommodation. This, again was really nice but it was a long way out - undecided as to whether the long journey was worth it as we didn’t get chance to enjoy the facilities that much.
Third day we went into the crater, which was a great experience, so vast and the variety of animals here was really good - you get a chance to get really up close to the here. Again Frank made sure we saw everything the crater had to offer, he really was great.
In summary I would recommend both the professionalism and communication of the company and their choice of guide with all his knowledge exceeded our expectations. Thank you to everyone for making this trip of a lifetime so special for our group.

More then perfect! Because of him the tour was the best I’ve ever had!
My whole trip was absolutely amazing!
Starting with the booking everything was perfectly managed, also because I booked my trip just one day before we took of to the Serengeti!
Our driver Laurenz was probably the best driver in all of Tanzania. The way he spotted animals and the way he always drove us in the perfect place to see the animals super close was just incredible. I would call him the „Lewis Hamilton“ of drivers the way he put us in pole positions every single time.
With him we managed to see all the Big5 in just 3 days.. and so much more!
Very important to mention is also our lovely chef Richie. For me the Gordon Ramsay of Tanzanian Chefs. All the breakfasts, lunches and dinners were super tasty and gave us enough energy for the day and after a long day driving through the national parks.
They way we had fun all together in the car was just amazing and I think it’s hard to find a better duo for your trip!
I recommend these guys to anyone reading this!!!!

Amazing safari with Laurence & Richard
We had an amazing trip with Laurence as guide and Richard as cook! The car was comfortable, the food was great and the drop-offs/pick-ups at the lodges and campsites went smoothly. Most importantly, however, Laurence made sure that we had amazing animal encounters and saw exactly the animals we wanted to see. We learned a lot about the wildlife and just had a great time overall!

More than perfect
Everything was perfect. The organization was great; everything went according to plan. We had the best driver (Laurenc) and the best cook (Richard); the two of them simply made our tour perfect. I would recommend it to everyone.

Experience of a lifetime
This was an incredible experience. We were able to see all the big five in three days of game drives. Food and accommodations were great!

Well organised and friendly
I honestly cannot recommend Serengeti African Tours enough! From beginning to end, everything was absolutely fantastic.
Even before the safari started, I already felt in good hands. The day before our departure, I had the pleasure of meeting Glory (with a Y!), who took the time to explain everything about the safari and answer all my questions. She made sure I had all the information I needed and helped me feel prepared for the adventure ahead.
I chose the camping safari experience, sleeping in tents right in the middle of the savannah, and what an incredible experience it was! It is something I will remember for the rest of my life.
A special mention goes to Dennis, our amazing chef. The food was simply incredible! I honestly ate so well throughout all three days. I never expected to enjoy such delicious meals during a camping safari. He really did an outstanding job!
And then there was Raymond, our fantastic guide. What a lovely person! Together with Dennis, he made the whole experience even more enjoyable. We had so many laughs along the way! Raymond was incredibly knowledgeable, patient and genuinely committed to making our safari unforgettable. He did everything he could to help us spot the Big Five, taking the time to search for the animals and never rushing us. He also always gave us enough time to take pictures and enjoy every single moment. You could really feel how much he wanted us to have the best possible experience.
I was travelling solo, and I never once felt uncomfortable or left out. Whether you are travelling alone or with a group, I would absolutely recommend booking with this company.
The organisation, the communication, the hospitality, the attention to detail, the complimentary T-shirt, and above all, the people… everything was just top-notch. They were there for us every step of the way, right until we were safely dropped off back at our hotel.
I went to experience the Serengeti and Ngorongoro, but I came back with so much more: incredible memories, laughter, amazing photographs and an experience I will cherish forever.

Great Experience - Wonderful Trip
We booked a 3 day trip with Serengeti Africa Tours to visit Serengeti and Ngorongo Crater.
It was a great pleasure for us and big big thank you to our guide Adrian! It was unbelievable how good he was connected with the other guides to show us all animals we wanted to see and even more. Feeding cheetah, eating lions, drinking rhinos, resting leopard and more!
Also the hotels were a very good choice. Excellent food very friendly people and the best was sleeping in the clamping tent right next to eating buffalos.
Glory and her team made a great job organizing everything with love and passion!
A big thank you again to adrian and glory it was wonderful for us.

Very helpful, informative and always available for questions
We chose the 5-day budget safari and it was a great experience! Our tour guide Raymond was very knowledgable and managed to show us the big five and much more! The tents at the camping sites were very comfortable, and the food during the safari was also very nice and plenty. Our chef Saidi made us great dinner and breakfast! Special thanks to Neema for organizing everything and always being there for our questions before and during the trip :)
