An Unforgettable Trip
When I was looking for a tour operator in Tanzania, my criteria was - Trustworthy, Mid Range(affordable) & Experienced.
My experience with Serengeti African Tours was really good. Right from the beginning, Namayani who was my coordinator, made me feel understood and recommended lodges, customised our requests to meet our expectations. I was able to find the right recommendations and shape it based on our expectations.
From the moment we reached Tanzania to our drop off, everything was perfectly managed and arranged by them. All transfers were arranged well. I do recommend asking all questions you want regarding inclusions, lodges, transfers because they are very transparent with everything.
I think the tour itself was truly wonderful. We did a city tour in Arusha because we reached a bit early, you may skip it because i felt a bit unsafe in the local market.
Bayona, was an amazing tour guide! He is so knowledgeable and fun, he teaches you about the culture, the animal behaviour, and it's always fun - he is very professional. He ensures you see everything you wish for and more on the trip, so you are in extremely capable hands with him.
I would highly recommend booking a tour with them. The lodges were great and we had an amazing time.

Exceptional, efficient and 5 stars
We had someone to help us booking this memorable trip from pre planning to the end. A special shout out to Nyami who was easy and efficient in communication in giving us the information we needed to know before our trip. We booked a luxury 7 day safari tour and it was value for money. Unlimited food, drinks, accomodation and a guide throughout the whole safari tour. A special thanks and shout out to our guide- Praise. He was so knowledgeable, informative and a kind guide. We wouldn’t have seen or experienced what we did without him. He was so thoughtful and respectful towards the environment and animals. We can not describe how thankful we are. If you are looking for authentic, value for money aswell as environmental conscious. Excelllent tour guide Simon / Safarimonster!
We booked our safari online from the Netherlands. Making the reservation was very easy and afterwards the communication was very good. They reacted very fast en everything was very clear.
The service they provided was perfect. We had een good working car. That meant no breakdowns so we had no interruptions. We had a fridge inside the car with enough drinks. Also they provided us with warm lunch every day!
The tour itself was very good and the lodges we stayed in where very good! We had no problems at all and we loved every second of it.
Our driver was an excellent guide. His name is Simon aka the Safarimonster. He is a very social guy and he is giving us all the information about the country from the very first second. He really knows a lot. He told us about religion and culture in tanzania, he gave us a lot of information about all the animals and their social behaviour, he even provided us with information about all the plants and trees.
When we asked a question to simon, he responded very nice and gave us the anwser we wanted. He tried to explain as much as possible.
During the safari he communicated with other guides by radio to find all the animals we wanted to see, and we did! I think it was because of his communication with other guides that we saw multiple lions, leopards and cheethas. Because of his tracking skills we even saw a black rhino, these are very special in serengeti he told us.
Because of simon it was an unforgettable holiday and we will never forget this! Next time, we want him as a guide again!

Unforgettable safari experience!
We had an incredible safari with Serengeti African Tours and couldn't recommend them more highly. We saw loads of amazing wildlife close up, and every game drive brought something new to observe. Our guide, Peter, was incredibly knowledgeable and really fun to be around. He knew the best spots to go to see particular wildlife, and we felt very safe with him at the wheel.
The lodges were another highlight. Each one was comfortable and well run, and the staff at every stop were genuinely welcoming and made us feel looked after from the moment we arrived.
From start to finish, the trip was well organised and truly memorable. Thank you to Peter and the whole team. We'd go back in a heartbeat!

Brilliant
We had an incredible safari trip for our honeymoon. We started in the Serengeti, and then visited Ngorongoro and Tarangire. We saw all of the big five, as well as loads of other incredible animals and birds.
Huge shout out to our guide Peter who looked after us so well. He was super knowledgable, so friendly and made the whole trip really fun.
The lodges we stayed at were great, as was the food.

Beautiful places & very kind people & perfect guide
We had an amazing safari experience, and we would definitely recommend them!
Our guide, Burton, was absolutely wonderful. He is such a kind and friendly person, always with a big smile on his face, and he was very patient with all our requests. He made the whole safari experience relaxed, enjoyable, and memorable.
We joined a shared tour, and we were lucky enough to meet some really nice people in our group. Everyone got along very well, which made the trip even more enjoyable. During the safari, we managed to see almost all of the key animals we were hoping to see, which was definitely one of the highlights of our trip!
A big thank you also to Antonia, who was very helpful and did a great job arranging our itinerary. The mid-range accommodations were also much better than we expected and were comfortable and enjoyable throughout the trip.
Overall, it was a fantastic journey from start to finish. Thank you, Burton, and Antonia, for making our safari such a wonderful memory. Highly recommended!

Efficient and in-depth - providing a fantastic five day safari and coffee tasting experience
Absolutely great tour. Namayani was my tour operator, and she guided me throughout the entire process. Pickup was smooth - we immediately got into the first safari, and every day after was an incredible adventure. We saw all the big 5! The camps were well taken care of and the tents were comfortable. We were dropped back off in Arusha on time the last day of the tour. Great communication from Namayani, knowledgeable guides, and a good price really made this a fantastic experience.

Gift you are amazing
We’ve went on a six days safari with fly in and out from Zanzibar.
We’ve landed at the northern part of the Serengeti and been stayed there for two days while sleeping at alongside the animals. We’ve witnessed the great migration and river crossing all thanks to our amazing guide we’ve continued to the central part and from there to ngorongoro crater and tarangiri.
The planing was amazing the guide was amazing the nature was beautiful. I would definitely recommend this company and if you are at it then ask for Gift our guide he cared that we will check all of the boxes and made sure that we have nothing to worry about just sit and enjoy.

Quiet but knowledgable
Our experience with Serengeti African tours was overall great. We saw lots of animals (including the big 5 + lots of extras), our guide (Lucas) was very knowledgable about all of the animals and educated us on many things that we weren’t already aware of. His knowledge, wildlife expertise and driving were fantastic. We could not fault our experience within the safari parks. However, our guides communication skills were sub standard to our expectations. There were situations throughout our daily safari drives where we did not know where we were going or what was the next plans due to lack of communication, such as, when we would be having lunch, or leaving the parks to move onto our accommodation. While this did not detract from his ability as a guide it did make parts of the overall experience feel more disjointed than it needed to be. We understand that daily drives throughout the safari experience are long, however the constant and repeated playing of the drivers own music was not to our personal taste and became a little irritating after a while. Overall I think improvements on communication and guest support outside of the safari drives would be beneficial and support the overall customer experience.

Safari SUPER!
Our safari was simply amazing! Our guide, Floridi, made the experience truly magical, leading us to discover new animals and sights every day. We went on a private, customized 6-day, 7-night safari in September—perfectly organized by Glory—that covered Tarangire, the Serengeti (Central and Northern), Ngorongoro, and Lake Manyara. Floridi was incredibly personable and knowledgeable, sharing many fascinating stories about the country, nature, and wildlife. Thanks to him, we managed to see the "Big Five" and witnessed the thrilling Mara River crossing involving thousands of wildebeest and zebras in the Northern Serengeti. I highly recommend this company—and Floridi as a guide in particular—for an experience that will leave an indelible mark on your hearts.
