From the very moment our journey began, he proved that his care extends far beyond just spotting elephants 😅. Recognizing that I was struggling with severe jetlag, Champion made an unscheduled stop at a local pharmacy right at the start of our trip to ensure I could get the medication I needed to recover. That simple, incredibly thoughtful gesture set the tone for the entire safari—he genuinely cares for the well-being of his guests. In and out of the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater, Champion completely lived up to his name: * **Master of the Land and Wildlife:** His knowledge of the local ecosystem, animal behaviors, and tracking is unmatched. He didn't just point out animals; he taught us how to read the landscape and truly understand the environment. Champion’s empathy isn't reserved just for his paying guests. At one point during our drive, we passed a fellow tour guide who had been stopped on the trail. Instead of driving past him to save time, Champion immediately paused to check on him, ensuring he was safe and asked if he needed any mechanical or logistical help.

Champion was the best tour operator ever!
We recently went in a safari and decided to go with Serengeti Smile based on reviews we read across all platforms (Safari Bookings, Google and Trip Advisor. It can be overwhelming because there are a TON of local companies to choose from but when I reached out to a few Serengeti Smile was extremely prompt and very informative. Godian was very efficient in getting an itinerary put together and kept in touch and answered all questions up until the day we arrived. I also got to meet Godian which was a pleasure. Thanks again for everything Godian.
We were assigned Champion for our safari itinerary. Champion was absolutely AMAZING. He was extremely informative and I'm so glad we were paired with him for our safari. He always paid attention to any ask we had and made sure we were taken care of. He was an expert in navigating us through our trip and knew a lot of great places to get some excellent photos. He took the time to make sure we got plenty of photos and saw everything we could possibly see, and more. We were able to see the Big 5 which was really cool. Aside from all of that, the two things that stuck out to me the most about Champion was his unselfishness and kindness to others. When another truck was on the side of the road with the hood up, Champion stopped to make sure they were okay. When we had our lunches on our game drives, we were never able to eat all the food, so instead of wasting it, he gave it to others to eat. Champion is a man of great character, and anyone I ever refer to Serengeti Smile for their safari back in the United States, I will make sure they request Champion to be their driver. Thank you for everything Champion! We really had a great time and appreciate everything you did for us.

Unforgettable Safari
Our safari in Tanzania exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfectly organized by the Seregenti Smile company and our advisor Piniel who was always available to us, allowing us to focus entirely on enjoying the experience.
The wildlife sightings were simply incredible. We were fortunate enough to see the Big Five, along with countless zebras, giraffes, elephants, cheetahs, hippos, and wildebeest in their natural habitat.
A special mention goes to our guide, "Good Luck" whose knowledge, passion, and ability to spot wildlife were exceptional. He shared fascinating insights about the animals, local culture, and ecosystems, making every game drive both exciting and educational, as well as catering to our needs and making sure we were always taken care off.

Unforgettable safari experience
My friend and I have just finished a 5-day private safari visiting Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara, and it was truly the trip of a lifetime.
A big part of that was our guide, Edward. Thanks to his experience and knowledge of the parks, we were able to see all of the Big Five. Beyond that, he was always happy to answer our questions, share interesting facts, and make sure we had all the information we needed throughout the trip.
We are coming back home with amazing memories and a much better understanding of Tanzania, its wildlife, and safari life in general.
We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better guide and feel very lucky to have had Edward with us for this adventure. Highly recommended!

An amazing safari
We have just finished a private safari through Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro, and I can honestly say that Edward was a huge part of what made this trip unforgettable.
From the very beginning, Edward was professional, friendly, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. He didn't just drive us from one park to another—he helped us understand everything we were seeing. Whether it was animal behavior, hunting strategies, social structures, migration patterns, or simply answering our endless questions, he always took the time to explain things in a clear and engaging way.
We were two friends traveling in a private jeep, and Edward made every day enjoyable. He has a genuine passion for wildlife, and it shows. He was constantly looking for the best sightings and sharing interesting facts, even before we thought to ask.
Thanks to his experience and determination, we managed to see all of the Big Five during our safari. As if that wasn't enough, we were also lucky enough to witness a live cheetah hunt, something we never expected to see in our lifetime. Moments like that don't happen without a guide who knows where to be and when.
Beyond his skills as a guide, Edward is simply a wonderful person to spend time with. He is kind, wholesome, respectful, and always made us feel comfortable throughout the trip.

Our incredible 8 day trip to Tanzania
Organising our trip with Serengeti Smile was excellent. Piniel was very helpful in getting us the exact trip and experience we wanted at the best cost we could afford. We started with a fantastic day hike of Kilimanjaro with a really great mountain guide. Wisdom (our driver) was also really accomodating as he picked us up from different places and taking us to our next destination. Then we met John, our safari guide for the rest of our trip. And that was absolutely exceptional. We got to see so many animals and experience unforgettable events (such as witnessing the hunt of a cheetah finally catching a gazelle). John was an amazing guide and made the trip so enjoyable for us. Highly recommend.

A top-notch team, well-organized, and always kind and welcoming with good advice.
We went on a 5-day safari as a couple. We visited Tarengire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti National Park, and finally, the Ngorongoro Crater. We were contacted by Erick after requesting a quote through Safari Bookings. He was always very friendly and responsive, and he prepared a tailor-made safari for us based on our requests. During the safari, we were accompanied by Zuzu, our French-speaking guide, who was attentive throughout the trip and has extensive knowledge. We learned and saw so much. We were also accompanied by Édouard, our English-speaking driver who speaks a little French and always made sure we had the best possible experience. They were always very kind, smiling, and welcoming. We really enjoyed sharing our different cultures with them!
We highly recommend Serengeti Smile for a safari. We're now off to Zanzibar for new adventures!

Five stars all the way up
From pick up to pick up great service. Domician was our driver very friendly and he is local from a town near arusha. We had chance to see all the big fives thanks to him. The smile company was great coordinating with me during my stay.
