Before and during our trip Adelle Bell (agent) communicated with us on an ongoing basis. She was available to answer questions, provide suggestions, and help with ideas. I was celebrating my 60th birthday and Adelle made sure we had excellent lodges in the game reserves and at the request of my husband, organized a cake for my birthday dinner. Adelle really cared about our experience and well-being. When, on a weekend, Adelle was not immediately available, another agent was on call who quickly got in touch to let her know to call us (which she did). 7-day Kilimanjaro climb and 7-day safari with Tanzania Classic Tours
1.) General information
We chose Tanzania Classic Tours as our tour operator because of the good pricing and the trustful contact with Leo, the company‘s managing director. He is very responsive to emails, WhatsApp, and calls. With his support we arranged an individual trip schedule tailored to our needs and expectations. Even while on the trip he made every effort to check our satisfaction and adjust the trip according to spontaneous requests of ours.
2.) Mount Kilimanjaro climb
The four of us were accompanied by a great team of locals (2 mountain guides, 2 cooks and 13 porters). Every individual person we became friends with. The food provided was exceptional with a minimum of 3-courses for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We loved our tour guides, who were very experienced with deep knowledge if nature, animals and culture. Both of them as well as the porters guided and supported us altruistically whenever we needed help. Without them we probably would not have made it to the summit.
3.) Safari
The safari was led by a safari guide, who drove a comfortable Toyota LandCruiser with an openable roof, a fridge for cool drinks and power strips to charge our phones and cameras. He was super friendly and approachable, took every joke and shared his deep knowledge of the animals and the vegetation that crossed our paths. The cook, who took care of our culinary well-being, fulfilled all our wishes regarding special diets and meal preferences.
We enjoyed our time in Tanzania very much and would always choose and recommend Tanzania Classic Tours again. The service during Kilimanjaro climb and safari exceeded our expectations in almost every aspect.
