It was an experience we will never forget and want to share with all the people interested in Uganda
The trip was beyond our expectations in all aspects. Besides the beautiful country-sights of Uganda, Matoke had arranged excellent lodges for us and a good variety of game drives, river safaris , walking safaris and of course the Gorilla track. We had a very good and experienced driver / guide, able to tell us a lot about the country, history and nature. We are looking forward to let Matoke Tours arrange our next trip to Africa.

A perfect journey, which was organised in an excelent way
Everything was organised very well. Before the trip we received a beautiful photo book with our complete trip. With information of all locations. GPS coordinates, tips for shopping ,eating etc. And also TomTom and phone with prepaid card. All locations and game drives were very nice and well organised. Unfortunately our flight was delayed for two days, the late arrival was also handled very well.
I recommend to use tailor made for organising your african holiday.

Safari with Axis Africa Safaris and Peter? WHAT ELSE?
Lennox from the office helped us doing a great job: a lot of informations before our arrival (answers very fast to all our questions), he changed our schedule trip to help us (because we arrived in Nairobi late night with our flight and to organize to be out of Nairobi during the elections day), no account payment (all the payment settled before leaving the first day), there was a driver to pick up us where we were staying and another one to drop off us when we finished the Safari. Excellent service and attention, we really appreciated. We have decided for the Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara Safari, 4days-3 nights. We are a family, with two children of 9 and 14 years old and we were in a group of 8 people in total+driver. It was our first safari and it's been such a great experience....so amazing and unforgettable!!!! Simply WOW.... We saw all the big five and a lot of animals: zebras, hippos, giraffes, wildbeests, baboons, hyenas, crocodiles, birds, etc. It's incredible to have and see a lion just one meter next to you!!! The accomodation (the hotel near Lake Nakuru) was really a luxury place with a fab swimming pool and a big garden where to have relax time; then we stayed near the Masai Mara in a camp tent very nice and all the staff was very welcoming. It's has been so interesting to visit the Masai Village, to talk to them and learn something about their traditions. All the food served in both places was very good and customers have free water during all the safari. Last but not least, Peter, our driver during the Safari, is simply the best: really a good driver, he's a nice person, very polite and so friendly, we have spoken a lot with him, asking him all the secrets of savannah. He's got the GPS in his mind :-) We thank you so much Axis Africa Safaris for our wonderful staying, thank you so much Lennox for your helping and attention, thank you Peter we had a great time with you!!! JDA arranged for us the trip of a lifetime which surpassed our expectations in all aspects.
From our first contact with JDA, Patrick and his team were responsive and enthusiastic partners is creating the trip of our dreams. He listened carefully to what we wanted, gave us choices, and then arranged for a trip that went like clockwork from the moment we arrived at our first destination. He was helpful with the odd details of a trip to Africa such as trip insurance and medical shots. The wildlife we saw and the walks we took were astounding. Each camp showered us with attention and provided exciting tracking and extraordinary wildlife viewing while assuring our safety. The variety of camps Patrick booked us in gave us new and different wildlife experiences each time. The food and service at each camp were fantastic and the accommodations were extremely comfortable and better. Patrick and JDA delivered exactly what we wanted and more, and we will book with JDA again anytime we wish to travel in the African continent again.

Sabi Sabi: One of our most remarkable trips ever!
Our trip to Sabi Sabi was absolutely fantastic. Not knowing what exactly to expect, we were blown away at how wonderful this trip was. The folks at Safari Bookings did a superb job of putting together our travel and accommodation package. The people were so nice and outgoing. We saw and learned amazing things because everyone at Little Bush Camp cared so much. Our Guide and Tracker, Fred and Zeb, made sure we got to see every possible item and every animal that was possible. The staff at Little Bush Camp were just outstanding. Qoli, Ryder, and Mumsy made sure we were never hungry or thirsty. The accommodations were jaw dropping. We could not have imagined anything as great as this. There is no doubt that we will return, just as quickly as we can.

Compass Odyssey made a perfect itinerary for us which met all our expectations.
The informations given to us from the pre- Safari up to the start of our journey was very helpful since this is our first visit to Africa. Compass Odessy was always prompt in answering our emails and has always communicated with us during our tour, to know if all goes well. The lodges selected for us are in very good locations, were comfortable, with friendly staff. Very good food were served and we enjoyed the " sun downing" cocktails in every afternoon game drive, watching the sunset in the midst of wilderness between elephants and hippos! We were always heartfully welcomed everywhere.Our guides in game drives and mokoro rides never let a question unanswered! It is a very educational tour and our great enjoyment is to see how Africa takes care of its wild life and its environment. Let's hope that all tourist would contribute to help them preserve it for the benefit of all.

a very professional team but lacking enthusiasm
The supervisor of the compagny took into account all of our requests but communication could sometimes be difficult. The food was good but the lunches were not very varied. During the game drives, our guide didn't give much explanation or commentary but he willingly answered our questions.
