They listened to what we needed and then exceeded our expectations
5/5

My wife and I came looking for a very specific kind of safari, with a very specific budget, that would work for our family of two adults and two children. We had a lot of curiosity, a few languages between us, and a limited budget. Elly and Prisca helped us find exactly what we wanted within that budget, and then somehow exceeded our expectations.

What really stood out was how attentive they were to what we actually needed. For example, we hadn't mentioned beforehand that our children don't speak English. When Elly realized this, he arranged for us to have a German speaking guide throughout the safari. That made an enormous difference to our children and to the experience of the whole family. They also made sure that the meals worked for us and paid attention to countless little details along the way.

And their care didn't begin and end with the safari itself. Elly stayed in close contact with us throughout our time in Tanzania, making sure we reached our destinations and even helping us arrange transportation that had nothing to do with the safari, simply because he wanted to make sure we had the best possible visit.

Elly joined us whenever he could, and when he couldn't, he was always available to answer questions or help with whatever came up. Somehow he managed to be incredibly attentive without ever being overbearing. It felt a little like travelling with a dear friend who happened to be there whenever you needed him.

Organizing everything was easy and nothing felt stressful. We arranged our own accommodation, but the safari vehicle was great, the safari itself was a wonderful adventure for all four of us, and we felt we received excellent value for our money.

Most importantly, we had a great time. We came with quite specific wishes and a specific budget, and Manka listened to us and somehow gave us more than we had asked for.

Top Safari and top John
5/5

Tanzania and its wildlife is beautiful, seeing animals in their habitat is breathtaking. Organization was super, but what I appreciated the most has been our guide John: professional and capable - he knows everything you want to know, and he’s the kind of person who instantly makes you feel safe, comfortable, and at home.
THANK YOU JOHN!

Had a great experience with Shever, doing the gorilla trek in Rwanda. He was a great guide: he gave us great information, vouched for us, and was very thoughtful. Couldn’t recommend him more!

Julius is very responsive and adapts with your needs and manages the whole team well
5/5

We had a nice safari with TOILO Safaris, our guide Eli was very knowledgeable and he answered all our questions,he's a respectful driver and he caters to our needs and curiosity. He makes detours if we want to. We felt listened to and it was agreeable.
The cook was great and fun, the food was so good that there was nothing left after each meal and the quantity of food was plenty. The menu was different each day wich was nice.
The manager Julius was very very responsive and catered to all our needs. He even arranged an accomodation for us to rest and freshen up because we had a late flight after the safari. He even contacted us during the safari to ensure that everything went well.
The safari itself was good and we saw so many animals and wildlife, truly an unique experience.

Amazing 9-day safari with John – highly recommended!

We had an amazing safari, travelling from Arusha all the way to the Northern Serengeti and back, and I could not have asked for a better guide than John.
Thanks to his experience, knowledge of the parks and ability to spot wildlife, we were able to see an incredible number of animals, including many lions and several unforgettable sightings throughout the trip. He always knew where to go and made every safari day interesting and rewarding.
Another aspect that I particularly appreciated was his safe and careful driving. This is something that should not be taken for granted on a safari, especially after hearing very different experiences from some friends who travelled with other guides. With John, we always felt safe, both inside the parks and during the long transfers between destinations.
He was also extremely kind, patient and helpful with all of us throughout the entire nine days. He was always willing to answer our questions, accommodate our requests and give us the time we wanted to enjoy each sighting without ever making us feel rushed.

Professional
5/5

It was a great pleasure to meet Mr Robert and Mr Eric our guide, we really had a great experience and will definitely repeat it. Everything went smooth communication and arrangement. We are glad we chose Woodbridge safaris. Our safari trip package was extremely customizable thanks to Mr Robert for being flexible in all aspects of the trip from the camps/lodge choice to the very down detail of vehicle choice. Woodbridge safaris catered to our specific needs within our budget seamlessly and made things possible other operators, we dealt with, couldn’t for the SAME budget. The guides in Woodbridge safaris are very knowledgeable and experienced that we saw very rare sightings during our safari trip including ALL big . Our driver knew exactly where to go and how to provide the best angles and positions for our photographer amidst many other vehicles.
All in All we are definitely going back to masai mara with the same choice, that is Woodbridge safaris.

Amazing Service
5/5

We had a wonderful experience with Brian at Customize Tours! He was able to accommodate our desires, even though we booked kind of last minute. He picked up us and took us to The Boma, after finding tickets for us, returned us safely
To our hotel and then returned the next morning for an amazing, customized township tour. We brought some school supplies and clothing to donate and he knew exactly who needed them and where they’d be used best .

After the tour, he drove us to the border of Botswana for the rest of our trip. His prices were very reasonable, and we loved knowing that what we were paying for was going to a small business.

He was very personable and easy to talk to and we felt safe with him driving our kids around. Would definitely highly recommend him and will use him again in the future!

Forever in our hearts
5/5

I consulted many tour operators while planning my trip to Uganda, but the moment I spoke with Ronald, the owner of Kajie Safaris, I had absolutely no doubts: I instantly knew I was in the right hands. It wasn't just a matter of itineraries, accommodations, or costs. It was, above all, an instinctive feeling of affinity and deep connection, as if all my expectations and unspoken wishes had already been understood and taken to heart.
As a matter of fact, thanks to Ronald, Maxine and Josephine (who were always available, friendly, supportive, and extremely professional), all my expectations and wishes were far exceeded. My husband Fabrizio and I experienced a truly unforgettable 14-day journey, discovering not only the extraordinary nature and biodiversity of Uganda, but also its beating heart and soul. And we had Edwin (Eddie) with us, who proved to be so much more than just a driver and a guide! He’s a master in spotting animals, a true expert in reading the wildlife behavior, an always caring and fun person, even a Luganda/Rukiga teacher! Right from the first moment, he became a companion in adventure and laughter, a friend, a family member.
Our itinerary took us to Mabamba Swamp, Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, and to the national parks of Murchison Falls, Kibale, Queen Elizabeth, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Mgahinga Gorilla, and Lake Mburo.
We spotted the Shoebill at Mabamba Swamp, rhinos at Ziwa Rhino, and all the remaining Big Four at Murchison Falls, where we were immersed in stunning landscapes filled with countless giraffes, antelopes, monkeys, hippos, and birds. We observed chimpanzees up close in Kibale—and thanks to Eddie's strategic planning, it was just the two of us and the rangers! We met Frances and the Bigodi community through captivating nature walks, birdwatching, and community tours. We even encountered bushbabies, owls, and a green bush viper during a thrilling night walk in Bigodi.
We witnessed amazing interactions between hyenas and elephants in Queen Elizabeth and admired the rich, diverse river ecosystem of the Kazinga Channel. We learned about the Kyambura Lion Monitoring Project and the challenges of wildlife conservation thanks to Bosco and Winnie from the Volcanoes Safaris Partnership Trust. We drove through beautiful tea plantations and winding mountain roads, and we spent four unforgettable hours with the Bikingi family during the gorilla habituation experience in Bwindi (a huge thanks to the entire Kajie Safaris team for securing two spots for us less than a month before the trip!).
In Mgahinga, we walked with golden monkeys and the three giant silverbacks of the Nyakagezi family. At Lake Mburo, we went horseback riding among zebras and impalas and walked through the savannah alongside giraffes (once again, thanks to Kajie Safaris' fantastic flexibility, which allowed for a last-minute change of plans).
We enjoyed local food, strolled through the colorful markets of Kabale, and were deeply moved by the waves from the children and the warm smiles of the people we met everywhere—memories we will carry in our hearts forever.
Uganda is a truly wonderful country… It is hard to find the words to express how deeply this trip touched us, and how lucky and grateful we feel to have experienced it. Mwebale Kajie Safaris! Webale munonga Eddie! May our paths cross again…
