There is a lot of wildlife in the parks in the south. You need to have some luck and be in the right season, but it is impossible not to be excited. I am not a real safari man, but even though I liked visiting some of the parks. The 'Bush vibe' is less in the south, it is all very organized. There are a lot of tours going around and Kenya gets a lot of tourists. The north is different, not many people venture north to the Turkana area. It takes time and effort to go there and besides that, most people go to Kenya for the wildlife that is more in the south.

We saw some beautiful Eylops owls here and got up close (well as close as you can get while being safe) with an elephant.

The river cruise was amazing as was the sunrise safari. We saw so many beautiful birds and were lucky enough to witness a grouping of three leopards. The campsite was clean and was a welcomed respite after a week in the bush.

We saw plenty of wildlife during our stay and we didn't feel particularly crowded by hordes of other people.

We had wonderful service from ATI.

ATI planned our trip impeccably. When we reached our destination the local transfer staff were very good. Everything lived upto our experience and better.
Thank you

Unforgetable adventure and so well looked after!
5/5

We had a wonderful fortnight carefully arranged so that we could experience as much of Nambia as possible, but also that we didn't feel rushed! It was good to know that though we were far from home and in totally new surroundings we had people at the end of the line who were there to help and advise if we needed them. From the moment we arrived and were greeted at the airport Charlotte and David made sure our holiday was everything we could hope for. We stayed in a range of different lodges, from small family run places to five star resorts in the Namib desert. We enjoyed the company of travellers from around the world. Highlights were (of course!) seeing so many different animals, watching honey badgers and porcupines scuffle over food from an evening hide, laughing at the locals who insitsed on wearing ear muffs in the morning due to the 'cold', a personal tour of the skeleton coast and a balloon flight at dawn over the Namib desert. Since our return we've recommended this company to our friends and two other couples have also had a fabulous time out in Namibia with Ati in more recent years. Now married with children we've been waiting for them to be old enough to appreciate (and remember) such an adventure. Not long til we're back again...

Nice people, great scenery and in general a nice country to visit. Traffic in the large cities are cramped as in most urban places in Africa.
