Amazing Experience
5/5

I highly recommend Sopai Safaris. Thanks to Patrik and Rajab. Everything went very well. and we had an amazing experience.

Rajab as our guide is very knowledgeable about wild animals, their behaviors and where to take good pictures of them. He is also very nice to talk with. If you have any question, just ask him. Patrik as our driver is also very professional, drives smoothly, even the road condition in May is not ideal.

Food, accommodation, airport pickup, everything else are all perfect and well organized. Nothing to worry. Absolutely recommend it!

About: Uganda
Unique experiance Uganda
Overall rating
5/5

After having been on Safari in Kenia and in South Afrika, we choose Uganda as a destination to experiance what we saw as the ultimate highlite in Safaris…… the chimpansee and Gorilla trekking in Uganda. We visited a week end of April, still rainy season.
We booked through a local company we had chosen through safaribooking.com ( safarisbyjon) and flew to Entenbbe with exitment . I must say that the week was even better than we had dreamed of……… it was just perfect!!!! We stayed at Murdgison Falls National Park and did the trekking to see Rhinos( amazing) we visted the Waterfall ….. spectaculous, and we met sooo many friendly people! All the locals, guides, rangers, staff atcthe lodges were super friendly , helpful, had good knowledge of their job and always a big smile ! We of course did the chimpanzee and gorilla trekking, and the fact that you walk through the jungle ( great nature) and suddenly see them face to face is a one liftime experiance! I can only highly recommend Uganda and the experiance of trekking by foot to anybody! It is such a special experiance! Nature in Uganda is great, as we went end of the rainy season ( it just rained one day and not heavy rain) tourism was low and so the trekkings were and safari we did were not at all overpacked with tourists……… and everywhere peolpe todl us how greatfull they were that we had chosen Uganda for our holidays…..that was so sweet……… we will definitly come back some day!!!! Thank you Uganda for an unforgettable holiday !!!!!!

Best experience in Kenya ☀️
5/5

This trip was amazing, we saw a lot of animals very closely, including the Big 5. Our driver Evans always did his best to find good spots and give us information. Evening and meal organisation was also well manages, closed water bottle are always available in the car. Despite we did our safari during low season the weather was perfect. Jocky tour is a very good choice for quality and budget safari.

Unforgettable
5/5

We had an unforgettable experience with Suricata Safaris, camping amongst lions, elephants and buffalo. Our guide Mandela was experienced, relaxed, a safe driver and reliable, expressing his passion and expertise for animals throughout the safari. Mandela was sure to persist in finding animals, especially Cheetahs who had just finished a hunt. Tito our chef made incredible food and plenty of it! He was very kind and helpful and every meal was delicious and filling. The trip was well organised and we saw so many incredible animals despite it being low season! Thank you for having us! 🦒🐘🦛🦁

A fantastic honeymoon Safari
5/5

Highly recommend Serengeti Smile, they have been extremely adaptable to our requested wants for this holiday. The safari in Tanzania has been out of this world, and would recommend going just before the high season. Our safari Guide and vehicle were fantastic, and feel incredibly lucky to have seen more wildlife than imaginable.

Honeymoon: Easy organisation, good flexibility of itinerary/budget, excellent safari.
5/5

6 nights/7 days safari: Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater.

Overall a fantastic safari. May was a good time of year: the rains had just finished, the hotels were quiet and there were fewer vehicles in the parks/around animals than during peak season.

Albert at Serengeti Smile was very happy to cater for our fussy requests, chopping and changing plans, hotels and flights to suit our exact wishes for our honeymoon.

We had a great guide, Zach, who was friendly, knowledgeable and a good man. We enjoyed learning about the animals and parks, but also the Tanzanian people and Kiswahili language, from him. He was a very good driver and keen to show us the best that Tanzanian Safari had to offer - we saw all of the big five, easily, thanks to him.

We changed the lodges to suit our budget. Marera Valley Lodge (3* - Tarangire/Lake Manyara) was good, with friendly staff, an intimate atmosphere and a good pool. Meliá Hotel (5* - Serengeti) was superb - the staff were fantastic and the food was delicious. But, the location would have been better suited for other times of year during the migration: ask your operators when is best. Serena Hotel (4* - Ngorongoro) was quite tired and the front of house staff were less friendly. The staff in the bars/restaurants were brilliant, though, with good evening activities - Masai music and acrobatics.

We explored a lot of Tanzania in a short period of time and it seemed to be a beautiful country with friendly people and a lot to offer. It was less touristy than Kenya, but the safari was just as good. I would recommend it highly as an East African experience and Serengeti Smile seemed a good company to use.
