Excellent Budget Safari
Everything was according to description. The camps and hotels were spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable and equipped with moskitonet. Breakfast and dinner were always good. Food is for most part according to Kenyan standards, dinner and lunch: rice, local spinach type, chiapati, chicken, beef, peas, carrots, beans, breakfast: toast, jam, eggs, sausages, fruits, tea, juices. Lunches on the way sated, don't expect too much. Our drivers were informative and cared for our needs and whishes. The game drives were obviously an excitement. Lot's of animals, including lions, cheetas, rhinos and more. Be aware, that a game drive is not Disney Land. We met other groups, which expected a theater performance. Obviously, that is a stupidity and would totaly destroy the natural experience, in my opinion. My advise, bring good binoculars. If you are keen on pictures, bring a wide range tele lens. Roads in the NPs are very rough, which makes handling of a heavy camera difficult at times, thus don't miss out on bringing a light and small compact camera as well. Payment of the safari was a hastle, but that was not Jocky's fault. Surprisingly, my credit card did not work in Kenya. Thus bring the money cash or have your credit card unlocked for Kenya before departure. Jocky's stuff was in fact very helpful in order to resolve the problem. For a budget safari, excellent value for money. We were very satisfied and had a lot of fun.

Do you see a trend? Sylvester and his staff were outstanding. When one comes to Africa on a Safari, you want it to be the best. Our expectations far exceeded our wildest dreams. Not only was the safari incredible, but Sylvester and Steve will be our friends for life.

Awesome experience, Everything went well ,better as expected , both tour guides (James and Mari) were always available and with the best predisposition to attend our doubts. The passion showed in their jobs make as have a better knowledge of Tanzanian animals , culture and civilization.

Highly recommended!!
I did two days of private safari in Tarangire and Ngorongoro and I was very satisfied. I saw all the big five but the leopard. Mike who is my guide was quick in getting in finding the animals and a good spot for viewing. Trust me, it gets so crowded and because most of us are doing this probaly once in our lifetime, you wanna have the best vantage view point- Mike is good in finding those spots. Another thing that I want to mention is how they had treated me as a member of their family. I had issues with my Kilimanjaro climb operator and they went above and beyond to help me. They drove me from Arusha to Moshi (about 2.5 hours) and helped me find a hotel. They also stayed with me until the Kili operator whom I booked my climb came. To me, that is a good value you should be looking when choosing for a tour guide- one that really takes care of it's client. I highly recommend them!!!

Our safari to Mikumi was perfect - the wildlife was stunning and our driver, Nico was wonderful
We had a wonderful 2 day trip to Mikumi with RajaTours - we saw elephants, giraffes, wilderbeast, zebra, hippos, warthogs, baboons, birds, buffalo, lots of Impala and the highlight was seeing a leopard. Although the drive from Dar was long - we managed to see wildlife on both days and our driver Nico was great - charming, accommodating and went out of his way to look after us. We stayed at the Tan Swiss Lodge which I would highly recommend- perfect evening swim, friendly, welcoming staff and lovely food. Rajab was extremely helpful - he responded quickly to emails and made the booking really easy- even a follow up email to check we had enjoyed ourselves. COudnt have asked for more!

The accomodation was superb, the animals amazing and the scenery was breathtaking
An overall wonderful experience in Kenya. It exceeded all my expectations. The people are beautiful, so warm and friendly. Our accomodation was fabulous and some with breathtaking views. So wonderful to watch the elephants while you eat your breakfast. Weather was mostly great. Hot sunny days and cool nights.. The animals were incredible and we saw them in the masses. The food was excellent and in abundance. Wonderful to drive along the highways and see how the people live albeit some very bumpy roads.
Kenya gets under your skin... I loved it!!!

We had an amazing time which was truly enhanced by the dedicated work of our guide Ouko Zakaro
Ouko Zakaro is/was a professional, thoughtful and dedicated driver/guide. His enthusiastic approach to sharing his experience permitted us to see the animals on the Massai Mara through his wise eyes. He pointed out so much to us and explained everything too, referring to and showing us pictures in his books when necessary. He listened to our requests and made it happen whenever he could. For example, I really wanted to see the giraffes and if by magic, a few kilometers later, there they were!!! The same happened when we requested to see the lions, although it was several kilometers later, but he persevered and succeeded in pleasing us. Thank you for making making our holiday into an adventure we will never forget - an absolutely amazing trip.
