Astonishing! Manyara Lake, Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti
We went as a big group of 24 pax. Everything was nicely caters for by the friendly staffs.
And we manage to see all Big Five during the short 4 days safari trip, and many other wonderful animals.

Very good
We did an 18 days safari in Kenya & Tanzania in Oct/Nov 2018 through Mojhi that was organised by Monkey Adventures.
This was my 7th safari in East Africa and one of the longest.
Our tour planning consultants at Mojhi were patient with my questions and always responded within a day to accommodate my frequently changing plans that went on for over 8 months!
We covered Samburu, Nakuru, Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire, Amboseli national parks.
The safari with Monkey adventures in both Kenya & Tanzania were super fun, thanks to our guides Dickson in Kenya and Cosmas in Tanzania! About Dickson, I think he has over 15 years experience of guiding safaris and it shows in this knowledge of the parks and wildlife. He is also a very good driver and was very patient and accommodating. At Samburu, we spent over 2 hours near a pride of 3 lions waiting for them to hunt Zebras and Dicksons patience, manoeuvrability were amazing as he was trying to get us to positions that give us good view of the action while not disturbing lions or their prey. He appears to know everyone at every accommodation from security guards to managers and he also knew many rangers! When we got a little delayed at Masai Mara gate, he spoke to rangers and then with park warden to get us through.
I challenged him to show us dung beetles as we have not seen it in our previous safaris and he did manage to show us a dung beetle in action, just on the boundary of Masai mara.
After he dropped us at Isabenia, we asked to have Dickson again as our guide for Amboseli which we was scheduled after 7 days and Monkey adventures readily agreed.
Our Tanzania guide Mr. Cosmas is a Masai that worked at a camp in Serengeti for few years and knew Serengeti like the back of his hand. His friendly apparently refer to him as lord of Serengeti! He answered almost all our questions ranging from geological history of Serengeti/Ngorongoro to local cultural practices. He was very passionate about wildlife and with his good sense of humour, it was fun to do safaris with him.
All the accommodations we stayed at in Kenya/Tanzania were top notch. We spent a lot of time reviewing and shortlisting accommodations before our trip and I think it was well worth the effort.

Westernized Africa
You can't beat the wildlife and scenery of a safari, that's for sure and it's worth every buck. However, it did feel heavily commercialized and not very authentic in terms of the people and the vibe. It's the first safari I ever take and my views could be exclusive to Kenya, Amboseli NP or the company I chose (which was very good by the way), but to me it felt artificial in a Disney-like manner. Please don't get me wrong: I stayed perhaps in the best hotels I've ever stayed and got some of the best customer service; the guide and all the staff were always trying to please us and make us happy. Maybe this was the problem ... it felt like Cancun, Miami or anything else but Africa, a standardized and westernized vision and feel of tourism. If what you are looking for is to get to know Africa's epic wildlife with international comfort then a safari is your best choice, but if you want to discover a new culture, then make a change of plans or balance your trip with something else. We also went to Ethiopia and while the comfort standard was light years away from Kenya, the social-cultural component of that part of the trip was much more genuine and memorable. In terms of wildlife, orangutan trekking in Borneo or walking among gellada baboons in Ethiopia feel much more authentic, although not as impressive as what a safari reserve can offer. I think it's a matter of what your profile is and the expectations you have. Again, my only safari experience is in one reserve in Kenya and things could be very different in other places, I don't know but I doubt it. Personally I would take a safari again (tampering my expectations) if I was traveling to Africa on a longer trip. I would never plan a trip exclusively for a safari.

Tanzanian Safari
A group of 7 from Australia and Canada recently travelled to Tanzania for a safari. We had to have this "safari" tailor made to suits our needs and Florent from Snow Africa Adventures organised this trip for us. Right from the start he was very accommodating with our requests and a great communicator.
He arranged for us to be picked up at the airport in Kilimanjaro - then onto a 4 day safari and a drop off to Nairobi. The guides LORRY and CHEEMA he had organised for us were great as were the lodges.
Thank you Florent, Lorry and Cheema for making our safari adventure memorable. I would highly recommend Florent and his team.
Hope to be back one day :)

Worst experience ever
We had the most horrible and scary 2 days of our lives with this company. First day was the car accident and it went into a full on death-spiral from there. I don’t even want to rehash the 24 hour period in between the car accident the first day and being broken down on the side of the road on the return trip, so for the sake of brevity I’ll start at the vehicle breakdown on January 28th, 2019. We were on the side of the road for 8 hours, in the region where CANNIBALS are known to abduct, kill and eat stranded people. WE HEARD THEM IN THE WOODS BEHIND THE TREE LINE JUST FEET AWAY FROM US! We were in SO MUCH DANGER. 6 tourists had be taken and eaten just a few months prior, we learned the next day. We had to call one of our own people to come get us from Kampala (2.5 hour drive each way for him), if we would have waited for a representative from Love Uganda to arrive, it would have been after 2am! The biggest issue we have at this point is that Love Uganda agreed to refund us 40% of the Safari cost, and we wrote up a contract and both parties signed that by March 1st the funds would be transferred into our account. We gave them 4 WEEKS to get us the refund. 4 weeks came and went, and I emailed them that their deadline had passed. I was told that the owner was out of the country until the end of the month (weeks from then) and that nothing could be done. Here it is April 1st and there has STILL been no contact from them and no refund. I had not intended to write this review because even though our trip was HORRIFIC AND TRAUMATIC, we just wanted the partial refund and to return to our lives. But after everything that happened, and NOW after them not honoring their agreement and ignoring the contract that they signed AND not communicating, I feel it is my duty to warn others. They talk a professional game, but they do not honor their financial agreements, and that is NOT PROFESSIONAL.
