The best safari experience in Tanzania!
5/5

We just had our first-ever Safari experience in Tanzania and we had such a wonderful time. Our tour guide Fadhil was fantastic, and he made our trip memorable (July 1-6, 2024). He is experienced, friendly, patient, and accommodating. The hotels we stayed in were top-notch. The transportation which was a Land Cruiser, was comfortable with charging stations so we could make sure our camera and devices were ready to go.

We picked the five days Northern Tanzania safari on this trip. The first day when we arrived, we toured Arusha town and took it easy that day since we flew in from Hawaii and the flight was unbelievably long (25 hours). On the second day we started our game drive to the Ngorongoro National Park and our guide was able to find us many exotic animals to see up close including many lions, hyenas, leopard and rhinos. When we went back to the hotel that evening, we talked to another family, and they were surprised that our tour guide was able to find those animals in the park that they didn’t get to see.

After Ngorongoro, we headed to Serengeti for more game driving. We stayed at the Mbuzi Mawe Serena Camp. My husband booked the trip and I was extremely skeptical about staying at a camp in the middle of the safari but to my surprise, the camp was extremely comfortable and it had a bathroom on each tent. We were woken up each night by different animal sounds as they were probably extremely close to us. In Serengeti, our tour guide was also able to take us to visit one of the Masai villages and we saw how they lived and visited their school. It was the highlight of our trip.

On the second day in Serengeti, my husband told our guide he really wanted to see the great migration on this trip but unfortunately, we were three weeks behind the migration and the animals had left. Fadhil was able to drive us to West Serengeti to see the tail end of the migration. It was amazing to have thousands of animals following one another to Kenya. Our tour guide really went above and beyond to make our trip special. All the hotels we stayed in were clean and comfortable, and we felt extremely safe. Thanks again for the wonderful trip, we highly recommend this company!

Hamza and his team were responsive and friendly and organized a great one day safari to Akagera from Kigali, at short notice. The driver was safe and reliable, friendly and informative.

This company went above and beyond
5/5

We did a 9 day safari tour that we had a basic idea of the itinerary for, however, several times our accommodations were changed to a different location (albeit equal or better). This was happening as we were changing locations almost daily. It always worked out though, sometimes after some confusion but this company comes through for their customers that are in a bind for sure!! We didn’t bring debit cards (rookie mistake) we only brought credit card and (not enough)!cash! LeoBeast tours, specifically Lizzy, came to our rescue! Not only once, but twice with the cash we needed to get through. Her constant availability on WhatsApp was a REAL treasure! She helped guide us through some tough situations and was helpful in any questions we had as far as our itinerary. I would really recommend this company to anybody looking for this level of service at a competitive price.

5/5

Mr Frank of Golden Rwanda Safaris was great to communicate with. He was frank in his assessment of our travel wishes and was upfront and honest and fair with everything; our driver Abou is very jovial and easy to talk with. We had a great time in varied conversations on our drives. It was an amazing experience and all the accommodations were excellent as were the foods and services. We highly recommend Governor's Residence in Kigali as well as Five Volcanoes Boutique Hotel. The foods and services and rooms were all excellent. We felt they were good values! We would trust Frank and Golden Rwanda Safaris to help craft a trip of a lifetime. Abou was an awesome driver guide! What a wonderful trip thanks to Frank, Abou and Golden Rwanda! It is a beautiful country with wonderful people! A special encounter with a gorilla family among the Rwanda hills is something to treasure forever!

Beautiful adventure and surreal experience
5/5

From the moment we got picked up, we were taken care of by our guide Steve, and the tour was overall an amazing experience. Everything was communicated well throughout our 6 day tour, and we experienced the best of all the parks we visited. Steve was very experienced and knowledgable about the areas we visited and made sure we witnessed amazing views and animals (lucky enough to see 3 cheetahs, and a leopard and all the other big 5 must see’s). Steve really made the trip very enjoyable and would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to get the best of visiting Kenya!! This was the trip of a lifetime.
