Excellent service by NightDriveSafaris: Tour to the Karoo and Addo Elephant National Park
Our Adventure with NightDriveSafaris
We recently embarked on an unforgettable journey with NightDriveSafaris, booking one of their guided self-drive tours to the stunning Karoo and Addo Elephant National Park. Travelling in the comfort of our own vehicle allowed us to relax and follow our guide, Renier, who led us on an incredible adventure from Cape Town.
Our adventure began with a canoe trip along the breathtaking Garden Route, where we soaked in the serene surroundings. This was followed by a brief but exhilarating hike, during which Renier introduced us to the indigenous forest, South Africa's national tree, and various local bird species. His attentiveness ensured that we felt comfortable and safe throughout our explorations.
Renier's friendly demeanor, extensive knowledge, and organizational skills made the experience enjoyable. His personal touch added a unique aspect to our exploration of the Addo Elephant National Park despite the less-than-ideal weather. We also appreciated the numerous opportunities to stop for lunch and enjoy coffee breaks at restaurants along the way. Renier's constant support and safety measures, such as maintaining communication through the radios provided, made us feel secure during the journey.
If you're looking for great value, outstanding service, and a friendly guide, I wholeheartedly recommend NightDriveSafaris. This adventure was truly a memorable experience!

Incredible Safari with Spirit of Kenya
Where to begin! We booked a safari with Spirit of Kenya for our honeymoon and every element of the experience was fantastic.
Our contact when booking was Misk, who was so helpful and responsive. Misk helped plan the perfect trip for us within our budget, answering all of our questions, providing us with lots of really useful information so we could make the best decisions and booking us a driver on our final day so we could get around Nairobi.
On arrival at the airport in Nairobi late at night, Moses gave us a warm welcome and ensured we met our driver safely to travel to our first hotel.
Our guide Lenny was exceptional - his knowledge of Kenya, the culture, animals and environment was endless! Lenny looked after us so well and we really benefited from his vast experience as a guide while on safari but also while travelling through Kenya. He taught us so much about the places we visited and answered our never-ending questions. Kind, patient and very respectful of the animals, Lenny absolutely made our safari and we were really sad to leave him on our last day. We're so grateful to Lenny for giving us the trip of a lifetime and would recommend him to anyone.
All of the accommodation we stayed at was brilliant and the staff at each venue were so accommodating and attentive. We particularly enjoyed our stays at Elerai Camp in Amboseli and the Amani Mara camp in the Mara. We regularly saw elephants, hippo, zebra etc. from both camps and the food and hospitality was second to none.
We chose a Land cruiser for our safari and the vehicle was in was in great condition, really well looked after and perfectly set-up for the best game viewing and getting around Kenya!
We would highly recommend Spirit of Kenya to anyone looking to book a safari. Our experience was superb and we had a honeymoon we will never forget! Kenya is a wonderful country, with incredible landscapes and wildlife, beautiful culture and the one of warmest welcomes we've ever experienced.
Thank you Spirit of Kenya!

Excellent arrangement and caring service.
Lizzy was very prompt, polite and professional in her dealings. My 9-Day Safari Tour booked through her was perfectly planned and executed. My wife Lucy and I thoroughly treasured our time in Kenya and Tanzania. More so because she celebrated her 60th birthday in Serengeti and Maasai Mara with close sightings of all the big five and the awesome river crossing migration. Our heartfelt appreciation to Lizzy and her team for they have made our holiday a truly memorable and enjoyable one.

Morning Star Tours & Travel make your dreams come true
From the moment we started communicating with Dennis from Morning Star every single question was answered even during the weekend. Dennis helped us to set up the best safari trip for Kenya for our family. Also for other related questions Dennis gave us advice and helped us with everything. What a service! It was a nice surprise to met Dennis and the other employees of Morning Star in Nairobi at their office during our safari.
At the start of the safari in Nairobi, we met our guide and driver John. John is the best! Every question from us about wildlife, culture, people etc was answered by John with a smile on his face. John took us to every special spot in all the national parks. Showed us wildlife from every possible angle. Helped us checking in at every lodge. At the end of the safari we were sad to say goodbye to him, he became a member of the family within the 7 day trip.
Everything was arranged just as specified in our itinerary. No hidden costs or surprises. All lodges were great. What an experience!
Thank you Dennis, John and Morning Star for making this journey possible, something we will never forget for the rest of our lives ❤️
We will keep you following on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/morningstar__safaris/ so also from home we will feel the love of Kenya 🐘🦁🐆🦓 🇰🇪

Charismatic, informative and open to a vast number of questions.
With a little trepidation I decided to do this tour of the Township but it gave me a very real understanding of the vast differences found with the African people from who is well off and rich to others seemingly living in abject in poverty.
A visit to the Apartheid Museum which provided an in depth explanation of the long road to free themselves. Sadly little seems to be accomplished in that time.

Professionalism, availability and reliability
Excellent management of the safaris both from a logistical and organizational point of view.
Strong and exciting experience of meeting both the Big Five and the other numerous animals that populate the parks up close.
A special thanks to our guide Ken who led us with passion and professionalism in this wonderful experience.
Ken was also extremely generous in taking the time to recover our missing suitcases and helping a colleague in difficulty (bogged jeep).
The success of our Safaris was largely thanks to him.
Ken the Number One (the sixth big!)🤩

EVERYTHING IS JUST PERFECT WITH THEM... ALL YOU CAN THINK ABOUT IS JUST WONDERFUL
Anne and her family are able to become your family in just a few days. I never met somebody like them, so passionate in welcoming, caring and making people feeling so confortable and at ease: she and all her family and friends are able to make people feel home even if guests are experiencing something so far from their home… they are so friendly natural spontaneous and caring that you always have the warm feeling of being protected but not in an intrusive way.. on the contrary, they respect privacy and all the cultural differences of their hosts… i have met other people who try to give this feeling to customers, but they seem artificial or just “working” and at the end they seem intrusive and fake…. Anne and her family have something rare and precious that no one else can give for sure: a passion so great and perceivable for what it does not look like a job for them. They really care, the want their hosts to have the most wonderful experience: we did a 3 days safari and we visited tribes along the lake Eyasi and the Materuni waterfalls : in 5 days we spent a lot of time together with them sharing point of views and life experiences, we learnt a lot about tanzanian culture and we became real friends. Everytime we had a doubt or we needed something they took care of everything without any effort, they took a lot of their time to share with us all that they could show about their city and the places we were visiting. All the people that work for Anne are superprofessional and all of them shows the same care for the needs of the guests. Mike the driver at the safari did all he could to let us catch all the animals, going faster than all the other cars we saw to try to be the first in front of the animals, and the chef who was with us managed to satisfy all our needs for our diets. also the driver in the city and to the waterfalls was perfect, frienly and competent on evrything we asked about. all the excursions were amazing experiences. we wish we could have more time to do all the rest they offer. Everything was just wonderful. After this experience with Porcupine Expeditions, i know i have people to visit in Tanzania, and i will do it for sure.

Amazing service and fantastic guide with Bright African Safaris
We had an amazing experience with Bright African Safaris and HIGHLY recommend them! I knew I wanted to work with a local Tanzanian company and I’m SO glad I selected Bright African Safari. My husband and I did an eight day custom safari covering a portion of the northern circuit in Tanzania.
The planning process can be quite complex and Evania provided the most responsive and knowledgeable communication in those early decision-making stages. She was very friendly and patient answering all my questions and maintained consistent contact without being pushy. I was glad to have the option to speak with her by phone in addition to our email exchanges. She was very willing to work with my specific lodging requests while also pointing out the advantages of some other options in the area. I never felt pressured to select any particular location or route, just Evania helping to make sure we had the best possible trip.
And the actual safari – WOW! I know everyone says they had the best guide ever, but honestly with Rama Banana we truly did! He is an exceptional person with incredible passion for this work. His extensive knowledge of animal behaviors and habitats made a huge difference in the number and variety of wildlife we were able to see. Banana shared many fascinating explanations to help us understand what we were seeing but also made sure we had plenty of opportunity to just take it all in. Looking back on the start of our trip together I really appreciate the
enthusiasm Banana shared in our first sightings of zebras and giraffes. Not a hint of any jaded “chill out, you’re going to see tons of those” vibe.
And finally, Banana was an excellent driver too! That’s super important when covering long distances on rough roads.
Please consider Bright African Safaris when selecting a tour operator for your safari. I’m sure that all of their guides are wonderful – and you will be especially fortunate if you have Banana as your guide!
