For plus I can write that park is almost empty. You can trade the price because there is not so many people. But if you would like to see many different animals you can be disappointed. In Zimbabwe every park has something different, so you have to choosen what is interesting for you.

No herds of Elephants, just individuals and small family groups, scenery is very much the same through out the whole park, no mountains but lots of water.

Not crowded safari

3/5

We were cycling in Zimbabwe and wanted to have Safari in Hwange National Park. Because there is not allow to cycling to main camping site, we took small truck. Hwange Park is the biggest in Zimbabwe but not crowded. There was only few cars with tourists. Camping site was empty. There were only two tents together with our. We had opportunity during Safari to see elephants, giraffes, warthogs, antelope. Additionally by binocular we saw a lion.

In Matobo Park we had opportunity to cycling around this park. The wildlife is poor but we had opportunity to see rhino and monkeys. We sleep on the camping site there and we were alone.

Review about Nyanga National Park by www.wlasnadroga.pl
Overall rating
4/5

Nyanga Park has the biggest mountain in Zimbabwe and this was our goal to trekking there. This was the most empty Park in Zimbabwe we saw. But we recommend it even that you will not see too much animals. You can go to the mountains or see waterfalls. On the camping site we were alone. Only the price comparing to the standards of accommodation was too high. But this is on every park in Zimbabwe.

First Safari and after this trip will not be my last

The Park is fantastic, not crowded with load of vehicles and people, the wildlife is always very close and relatively safe, the guides really know there stuff and are brilliant at their job, we stayed at the Lion Camp, which is up market for a Safari, very comfortable, brilliant food and transportation was always there on time and always safe. Highlights were the six Leopards we saw - beautiful animals, we also saw Lion, Buffalo, Elephant, Antelope and too many bird species to mention. Night Drives were fun, but you need a good camera to capture the views on film, walking safari's are very educational - you will learn a lot about POO. Overall a great experience, wish we had seen two camps rather than just one to allow us to make a comparison, apart from that fantastic, but we were very tired when we got home - not used to 05.30 starts.

Amazing landscape entouring an outstanding fauna

The best part of this park, compared to other great parks in Africa, is the landscape. Concerning animals, it is the best place to see elephants that I know.
Good organisation, guides and food with Kananga.
Do not miss the boat at the sunset, you really dont know where to look at.

Great guidance and support through the trip!
5/5

This was a first trip to Africa, and we were looking for someone who would guide us in the right direction in everything from choice of parks to visit, duration of stay and the hotels we stay at. Quite happy to say that ChaloAfrica proved excellent on all accounts.
From the start there was a constant dialogue and we first got advised on which country within africa to visit. Once we set our vision and standards, they were able to guide us well as to which country to visit.
After that, getting into the details of the country with where to go and what to do proved a daunting task for us but they smoothened it out with their knowledge.
Once on the trip, they kept in constant communication through message, and it proved helpful to us as on our first night we had a bit of an issue with the hotel, and we just let them know on message and by the time we woke up the next morning, it was all sorted out.. That was pretty good and exactly why we went with them - we wanted a hassle free trip!
All in all, we had a great trip and are already looking forward to planning our next trip with Chalo.

Experiences you'll remember for the rest of your life
5/5

Catz run by Annekie & Henry are not only superb organisers but amazing hosts too. From the minute they pick you up at the airport, hotel or home to when you have to say goodbye (which is hard thing to do), they make sure your trip runs smoothly and is an experience you will remember for the rest of your life.

We have used them since 2006 and whether its a luxury safari or a budget one, they have the knowledge and experience of their industry to put together a truly memorable tour for you.

Their knowledge and experience of the tours they run and the information they pass on during them is second to none, and its clear from the passion they show when imparting that information of their love for their country, history and above all else the wildlife. They are also happy to come up with bespoke tours to suit your budget if the tours offered don't fit with what you want.

This trip was special as it was my partners 50th birthday so a secret holiday for her. We wanted to go to some of our favourite places, but it wasn't working the way we wanted it - no problem for Annekie - she worked it so that all the elements we wanted were in the tour just in a different order, but it worked brilliantly as was evident from the tears of joy in her eyes when we turned into our final destination - Rhino Post Plains Camp walking safari.

We had the most amazing time at Bush House in Madikwe, Johannesburg, Oliphants and Plains Camp in Kruger Park. Brilliant sightings in the vehicle and on foot, we were truly spoilt - champagne and cake everywhere and not forgetting Henry's outstanding braai's and poike - mouthwatering.

Annekie and Henry aren't just your tour guides, they become your friends, friends you will have for life.

Can't wait to be back in the bush again soon.
