William & Wada Adventures - Outstanding!!
5/5

We recently completed a 6 day safari programme with William from Wada Adventures, and it was just an unbelievable experience from start to finish. We started off with a walk to the Endoro Elephant Caves in Ngorongoro, which had some lovely scenery and beautiful waterfalls. We had an overnight stay at the sensational Escarpment Luxury Lodge Manyara with sensational views of the Elephant herds from the infinity pool. The following day we drove to Lengai where we had a thoroughly enjoyable river walk up to the waterfall (you get wet but great fun!) before heading for sundowners overlooking Lake Natron and Ol Doinyo Lengai (The Mountain of God). The next day we took a sunrise walk to Lake Natron with Giraffes and Baboons walking around us which was incredible before joining the Wilderbeast, Zebra, Flamingo and other wildlife for Sunrise. We then headed to Lake Manyara for a game drive where we were up close and personal with the Elephants, saw Lions eating a dead Hippo (we saw live Hippos too!) and every type of deer and gazelle you can imagine. A few glimpses of sleeping Rhino and the day was perfect. The following day was spent in the Ngorongoro Crater - quite simply breathtaking! The scale of the crater is unreal as is the diversity of wildlife, Elephants, Jackals, Hippos, Hyenas, Rhino, Buffalo, Zebra, Ostrich….literally everything, so special. The final two day were spent in Taringire park which was the perfect end to the trip. So many Giraffe, Elephants, Buffalo, Lions, Cheetah and finally, the perfect and completion of ‘The Big 5’ - a Leopard snoozing in a tree. William’s planning, knowledge, positioning were first class and he’s such a nice guy to spend time with. We will be back and when are it will be with William and Wada Adventures! Thank you William!!

Choosing Aanika Safari turned out to be a fantastic decision. The service was top quality yet very affordable compared to other options we looked at. Every detail — from the accommodation to the meals and daily schedule — was perfectly arranged. Our guide, Steven, was highly experienced, professional, and made every part of the safari enjoyable and informative.

10 Days of Pure Ugandan Magic
5/5

From Rhinos to Gorillas, and Every Emotional Moment in Between
From the first sunrise to the last golden sunset, our 10-day safari in Uganda felt like stepping into a dream: a living, vibrant story unfolding before us across five incredible national parks. It wasn't just a trip; it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that touched our hearts in ways that are difficult to put into words.

My husband and I chose Uganda for our honeymoon, and from the moment we met our guide, Jamal, from Deks Safaris & Tours, we knew we were in the hands of someone very special. What followed were ten days of pure wonder, connection, and unforgettable adventures.
Our tour took us through Murchison Falls, Kibale Forest, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, and Lake Mburo, each revealing a new facet of Uganda's soul. The landscapes shifted from rolling savannas to cloud forests, each teeming with life and unimaginable beauty. Everywhere we went, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine kindness. Uganda isn't just beautiful; it's alive, as if the land itself breathes a quiet magic.
Our adventure began at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, a place where hope and protection go hand in hand. Being just meters away from a small herd—seven majestic rhinos, including a playful baby—was deeply moving. The rangers' dedication was palpable in every word and every step. It was a reminder that humans and nature can coexist in harmony when care and respect are the way.
Then we arrived at the breathtaking Murchison Falls, a scene of awe in its purest form. Watching the mighty Nile compress into a narrow gorge before thundering down was mesmerizing: power and beauty intertwined. At sunset, the golden water reflected an almost sacred light. The next day, during our boat safari, we observed hippos resting, buffalo grazing, and crocodiles basking in the sun; every sound and every movement was part of the grand symphony of wildlife.
Walking through Kibale Forest in search of chimpanzees was like stepping into another world. After a long wait, the reward was immense: we found ourselves just a meter away from a tranquil male, lying back with his hands behind his head as if posing for a photograph. Around him, others played and groomed each other with complete naturalness. It was a pure, peaceful, and profoundly human moment, a connection etched in our souls.

The most anticipated moment arrived in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Being just a few meters away from a family of 11 mountain gorillas, with three playful infants, was an indescribable experience. The powerful silver male stood guard calmly, and the rangers guided us with a serenity that demonstrated the mutual trust between humans and gorillas.

The hike was surprisingly easy, about 30 minutes down the mountain. We followed the gorillas as they moved through the mist and light of the forest, the air thick with earth and rain. Our group was wonderful and supportive, especially with an elderly woman who, despite the difficulty, never stopped smiling. That day we didn't just observe wildlife: we shared a pure moment of life.

From the misty forests of Bwindi, we moved on to the golden plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park, where we saw two elegant leopards and two tree-climbing lions in Ishasha, resting lazily in the branches of fig trees. We also saw elephants, giraffes, antelopes, and countless other species that filled the landscape with movement and color.
We finished in Lake Mburo National Park, a tranquil paradise with rolling hills, mirror-like lakes, and zebras grazing freely. It was the perfect ending: a moment of peace and reflection after so many exciting days. At every accommodation, we were welcomed like friends. The details for our honeymoon were enchanting: flower petals, smiles, and gestures that made each night special. But our favorite place was Elephant Hab. Barbara and her team made us feel right at home; their warmth and kindness touched us deeply.
Our guide, Jamal, was exceptional: kind, patient, and wise. When we had a minor issue with a tire, he resolved it calmly and professionally. On our last day, he surprised us with a photo of me from the safari, printed and framed as a honeymoon gift. It was such a sincere and touching gesture that we will never forget it.
After visiting seven African countries, I can say with certainty that Uganda is the safest, most welcoming, and most authentic of them all. Its beauty goes beyond the landscape or the wildlife: it lives in its people. In every village, children ran to greet us, and when we needed help, strangers approached us with smiles. There is a deep connection here, a community that embraces you with sincerity.

Tailormade Africa were peerless in the planning and support of our fabulous safari
5/5

We travelled to Tanzania, visiting four parks and ending in Zanzibar. We developed the itinerary with Rob Morely almost a year before we left. He was supremely helpful in suggesting where we should go and extremely patient with my questions and changes of mind. The itinerary proved to be superb – several guides commented on what an exceptionally wonderful trip we had organized.
We had excellent advice pre-trip about clothing, vaccinations, visas – nothing was too much trouble. During our trip we were supported by Clyde Beatty – who was highly responsive to all communications, replying through Whatsapp within minutes. Everything in our complex trip went smoothly, the only snag was a change in flight time from Zanzibar that Clyde solved with new arrangements with minimal input from us – it was outstanding.
I would recommend Tailormade Africa without hesitation – we could not have had a better experience. The trip was beyond our expectations – the camps, guides and experiences were all perfect. This is a reflection of the deep knowledge and expertise that Rob and Clyde bring to the table – they are both brilliant. This was a “trip of a lifetime” for us and beyond what we hoped for. Thank you Tailormade Africa.
