We booked a nine-day private safari with Tanzania Safari Experience and wholeheartedly recommend them.
From the planning stage onwards, Laurent provided excellent personal service. He responded to our many messages and questions incredibly quickly, gave clear and detailed answers, and took our preferences into account. Having someone so responsive and helpful made organising the trip much easier. The arrangements for our onward journey to Zanzibar and the transfers were also handled smoothly.
We particularly appreciated Laurent’s willingness to adapt the itinerary to the wildlife activity at the time. After discussing the situation with our guide, he recommended spending one fewer night in the central Serengeti and an additional night in the north to give us more time near the migration. He explained his reasoning clearly, and we were happy to agree. For us, it turned out to be an excellent decision.
Our guide, Praygod, was fantastic. He was reliable, knowledgeable, very well organised and genuinely enjoyable to travel with. He shared so much about the wildlife and the Serengeti, and consistently made an effort to give us the best possible experience. Spending several days on safari together, we really appreciated his easygoing manner and enthusiasm.
We had many wonderful wildlife sightings, with a successful Mara River crossing on our final safari day as the unforgettable highlight. Of course, a sighting like this can never be guaranteed, which made us feel even more fortunate to experience it.
We also really enjoyed the accommodation, particularly our final camp - Sero Camp. The warm hospitality and delicious food made it a lovely place to finish our safari.
From the communication and planning to the guiding and the experience itself, everything came together beautifully. A huge thank you to Laurent – we would choose Tanzania Safari Experience again without hesitation!

This was my dream trip and Sensation of Africa far exceeded my expectations! I had a lot of questions before the trip and Baraka was so helpful and responsive. He made the planning process easy and stress free. John was our amazing safari guide and was so knowledgeable! He made our safari memorable by telling us all about the different animals and their behaviors. He knows the parks incredibly well. I also noticed Sensation of Africa seemed to have the most well-kept vehicle of all the safari companies out there. It was so fun to watch the animals from the pop-up top while enjoying the comfort of an air conditioned vehicle! All of our meals and accommodations were fantastic. We ended the trip in Zanzibar which was the perfect ending to an already perfect adventure. I definitely intent to come back one day and would not book with anyone other than Sensation of Africa!

Having Home to Africa as our tour company for this trip is one of the best decisions weve could made.
From the first communication we had with Hedmond, with fast responeses all our doubts were cleared. The price of the trip seemed low for all that we recived in exchange during the trip. Hotels, food, the vehicles, etc.
We had a personal problem while traveling to Africa. My father was left behind, but the team was quick to help us solve it smoothly.
All the hotels we stayed in were nice and each one provided a different experience. From glamping to deluxe hotels. The food was very good.
At the end we wanted to go to Zanzibar. Home to Africa also help us booking hotels and tours there which were great.
I will come back every time with them.

Far More Than Gorillas – A Varied, Rewarding Safari Destination
Uganda was a wonderful surprise as a travel destination—far more varied than I expected. We came mainly for the primates, and gorilla trekking in Bwindi was unforgettable: we were lucky enough to encounter two gorilla families, and the trek was efficient without being exhausting. Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale and the community experience were also meaningful. But what really made Uganda stand out was everything beyond the primates: Queen Elizabeth National Park, with the Kazinga Channel boat cruise, had an astonishing density of hippos, elephants, buffaloes and birds; Ishasha’s tree-climbing lions were a unique bonus. The scenery was lush and green, the weather pleasant, and the lodges comfortable and well located. Our guide’s sharp eyes and professionalism made the wildlife viewing even better. My only regret is not allocating more days—before the trip I didn’t realize how much Uganda offers beyond gorillas, including Murchison Falls, Ziwa’s rhinos, shoebill swamps and Jinja. As a destination, Uganda feels fresh, less crowded and richly rewarding.

Yes, we saw the animales, thanks to the guide, but...
We booked a 8 days safarie and were going to stay in lodges and one night in a tent, but ended up 3 days in tents with bad food and no electricity for a shaver og hairdryer. We paid 3500 dollar each, or more, and expected more luxery. We should get some money back. This was not nice putting us in primitive tents. I will not recomend your Company to anyone.
