Review about Bwindi Impenetrable National Park by Andrea Gunderson
Mountain Gorilla hiking was tiring and thrilling. It is so beautiful hiking there. Definitely "Gorillas in the Mist". Follow all tour guidelines and you won't be sorry that you did this. We are 64 and 70 years old and did the 10-mile mountain hike. Muddy, slippery, thorns and stinging plants so be prepared! Hire a porter- you won't be sorry you did this either!

Review about Kibale National Park by Andrea Gunderson
We did the chimpanzee trekking and loved it. We had the best staff at Kibale Forest Lodge. I had mentioned to the staff that I wanted to try Jackfruit and sugar cane. They made the jackfruit appear at supper that night and the sugarcane the next morning with breakfast! Outstanding service!!

Review about Kidepo Valley National Park by Andrea Gunderson
Long drive to get there but one of our favorite parks. We only saw one other vehicle there when we went on several safaris. I think it is the long drive that prevents a lot of people from going there but it had everything there. We loved Kidepo Savanna Lodge!! We had the best staff at Kibale

Review about Lake Mburo National Park by Andrea Gunderson
The only problem that we had there was we were signed up for the Nile river cruise. The boat had padded seats along the sides of the boat and 2 hard plastic seats in the middle. We got the 2 hard seats in the middle. We could not see anything from those seats with people standing on each side of the boat. The seats were horrible and uncomfortable. We stopped back at the dock about 1/2 hour into the cruise and I promptly got off as my back was killing me and I couldn't see anything because of the way the boat was set up. I was very disappointed they even used these seats. My husband did stay on the cruise but was able to sit at the bow of the boat. I was offered another boat as I lay crying with back pain on a bench. Why would I want to go on a different boat without my husband. We came to experience things together. Again, very disappointed with the Nile cruise.
We loved the Nature walk that we went on with David our guide. We got so many great pics and he was so knowledgeable.

Review about Murchison Falls National Park by Andrea Gunderson
Beautiful and loud! Rainbows! Hot temps but the showers from the falls helped to cool us. Saw Termite kingdom and black neck cobra baby snake with our guide Lawrence. Beautiful pictures. The Nile is so powerful. We did do a cruise up the Nile to get close to the falls in the water. This was excellent as well!

Review about Ziwa Rhino and Wildlife Ranch by Andrea Gunderson
Excellent to see the White Rhinos. Our tour had a female in heat so 2 males were squaring off over her. It was 2 males, 2 females and 2 babies!

Great customer service!
Gems of Africa were wonderful to work with as we looked for a place to stay for our honeymoon in Kruger Park. They got us an amazing rate at the lodge we stayed at and were very helpful and responsive during the entire process. Would definitely recommend!

Another fabulous trip with Dancing Zebra Safari Company!
This was out 8th trip with Dancing Zebra Safari Company, and one of the best! This time we went to South Africa and Namibia. We had heard from previous fellow safari goes that Bateleur Camp in South Africa was a great top-notch experience. So I told Jessica, the owner of Dancing Zebra, we wanted to go to Bateleur, and also to Etosha National Park in Namibia, which I have always heard about. So with these two requests, Jessica came back with a full itinerary at four different camps, with all the internal flights and transfers! This was a complicated one, but she is the best at planning and coordinating all the elements of a custom safari! She even arranged for someone to guide us through Johannesburg airport, which is huge and can be confusing. We felt like VIP’s being escorted through JNB!
Our camps in South Africa, Bateleur and Mali Mali, were on private reserves that bordered Kruger National Park. So being private, we could go anywhere, even get out and walk, and stay out as late as we wanted! So every afternoon game run ended in a night game drive, with the highlight being several leopard sightings at night! They don’t seem to be bothered by the spotlight. Both camps were great, with very good accommodations and very skilled safari driver/guides. We even had a rare sighting of a pack of wild dogs!
Then we were off for Namibia, and again at two camps on private reserves closely bordering Etosha National Park. We went into Etosha every day, and had many quality sightings, like 3 big male lions splashing through a shallow river, many rhinos, and waterholes that were alive with all the animals! One camp had its own waterhole with a hide, and rare black rhinos came to drink every night! Zane was our driver/guide the entire time in Namibia, and he really knew his stuff. He did an excellent job.
This was one of the best safaris, and we have two more booked with Dancing Zebra – In November, back to Tanzania then Rwanda for gorilla trekking, then next May, to Zambia!
When you use Dancing Zebra Safari Co as your agent, you get the best safari experience! That’s why we have been doing this every year.
