Very very professional and kind people!
5/5

Absolutely unforgettable experience! This safari tour operator exceeded all expectations from start to finish. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and deeply passionate about wildlife and conservation. Every game drive was filled with breathtaking moments. The accommodations were comfortable and clean. What truly stood out was the personalized attention and the seamless organization of the entire trip. I felt safe, inspired, and completely immersed in the magic of the African wilderness. I wholeheartedly recommend this company to anyone seeking an authentic and life-changing safari adventure!

Professional, efficient, knowledgeable, pleasant, accommodating.
5/5

Value for money: Excellent
Accommodations: clean, comfortable, beautiful landscapes/views, all amenities provided for.
Reliability: Very efficient from start to end. All went according to plan: from airport pick up to airport drop off.
Tour: It was a private tour tailored to our needs and requests. Suggestions for improvement were made but not forced, these were heeded and in retrospect were correctly suggested. All areas visited were impressively unique.
Guide: Left us with the best impressions.

Delivered what was promised - great experience

Soul of Madagascar is great agency. Reasonable price compare to other tour operators, very patient - as we were changing our routes a few times adding a new destination points, everything was done very well - a few times quality of the hotels exceeded our expectations. For 18-days safari it wasn't even one failure. Very good guide - Eric Zozo - he shared a lot of info, always helpful. We felt very well taken care of. Also, what is very important on very difficult Madagascar roads - very good drivers. I will always recommend this travel agency.

Fantastic Experience
5/5

If you want an excellent Safari experience, don’t fuss about whether to choose expensive or cheap accommodation, but choose your guide very carefully.

Eman (Emanuel Edwards) is an expert and careful driver, who avoids as many ruts and potholes as possible for our comfort, and an incredible navigator, who can find his way across the plains without so much as a wrong turn. But most importantly, he has a vast knowledge of the animals and birds of Tanzania.

He is calm, patient, kind, considerate and wears a fine snaggletoothed smile. His main concerns are our safety and satisfaction, alongside a preservation of the wonderful areas through which he guides us. He is no high-fiving, foolish, jabbering joker, but a perfectly relaxed, polite gentleman with whom you feel immediately at ease and safe in his hands; very important when you are spending a few days with somebody.

He speaks very good English and seems to instinctively know how much information you want about the animals and birds which he can spot at great distance and with great ease, even when hidden in the bush.

My advice; choose Eman.

We did a 5-day-safari to Tarangire national park ,Serengeti, Ngorogoro Crater and Lake Manyara. We saw all the Big 5 and so many other animals. The nature was awesome with such a beautiful landscape. Every nationalpark is diffrent and worth to see. We had a private tour and it was absolutly worth it. The lodges we were, were really good. In the Serengeti we stayed in tented lodges, which were similiar to real rooms in the middle of the nationalpark and stood up with zebras nearly close to our tent. It was a once in a lifetime experience.

We made contact with Shian Tours & Travel at the last minute (Sunday) to organize a two-days safari at Tsavo West, to begin the next day from Mombasa.
Jacquiline from Shian was able to organize everything before the end of the day and was super clear & responsive.
During our safari, our guide Peter drove us safely from Mombasa to Tsavo West Park (Kilaguni lodge) and back, showed us many animals with his 'magic eyes' (even spotted a leopard on the road ou of the park after Voi, towards Mombasa!), and also shared his knowledge about birds, landscapes, nature & culture of Kenya.
This was a superb experience, thanks to Jacquiline & Peter !

Amazing and Highly Accomodating Tour Operator
5/5

As an American, I was a little cautious when some friends approached me with a trip to Uganda and Rwanda, however by the end of the trip, I had such a beautiful appreciation for the people and wildlife of these countries. This trip toured Akagera, Volcanoes, Queen Elizabeth, Kibale, and Bwindi National Parks where safaris included seeing rhinos, giraffes, zebra, warthogs, lions, leopards, buffalo, elephants, hippos, crocs and treks included golden monkeys, chimps and gorilla, and also a TON of birds. Got to actually see a pair of African Grey parrots for a brief second span the sky. The chimp and gorilla treks were a once in a lifetime experience. Seeing these beautiful creatures, up close, moving within feet of you, was exhilarating. Zoos will never be the same again. At first its a little intimidating being so close but you begin to notice that the chimps and gorillas don't pay any attention to you and that there are park rangers near you at all times. Also, definitely try to book a night safari, in order to see animals and their behaviors that are not present during the day. This trip was in early July. The temps were in the 60's to 70's much of the trip where the Queen Elizabeth Park area were more closer to 70's and the Bwindi mountainous area were closer to 50's and 60's. We only saw rain in the Bwindi area and there were no mosquitos throughout this trip.

The vehicle the travel company used were Toyota Land Cruisers outfitted for safari with 6 rear bucket seats and a roof that pops up allowing you to stand. Things may get a little bumpy with the hardened suspension and that most of the minor roads in Uganda and Rwanda are not paved, especially through the mountainous areas. If you get carsick easily, don't forget to bring motion sickness pills. They provided plentiful bottled water. The charger in the vehicle was spotty so bring a power bank if you have.

Accommodations throughout the trip were lovely. All lodges had security guards on premises, bottled water, mosquito netting in all the rooms, tasty meals, bars, and other amenities. WiFi was available, mostly just in the central dining areas. Hot water was a limited commodity where you might only get a few minutes of "warm" so you might have to just make due. Cellphone coverage was actually really good most places except in the mountainous Bwindi area. Most places took credit card and US dollars in addition to the local currency.

Lastly, special mention to my driver Ronnie King who was not only highly knowledgeable about wildlife, but also made special requests and accommodations along the way for us making this a once in a lifetime type of trip.

Amazing experience in the endless plain

Assad organised a truly memorable experience, that we will remember forever. His knowledge is superb, his communication excellent, and he is extremely calm. He knows what to do and when to do it, which made such a difference. He is also respectful to the wildlife, which sets him above the others.

Kind, patient, knowledgeable
5/5

Me and my friends had the pleasure of having Timothy as our safari and tour guide. He was very accommodating and flexible, picking us and dropping us off in different locations. He was very knowledgeable about the wildlife, birds, plants, and trees. He was happy to answer any questions we had. The safari itself was very comfortable and clean, it was clear he took good care of it.
I would highly recomend Timothy and his business to anyone wanting to book a safari trip in Kenya.
