We went on a group safari with 14 people for 3 days and 2 nights and it was very nice. Food was included, and the driver always made sure that we saw the best pov of the animals. In these 3 days we saw 4 of the Big 5. The food was amazing and the drivers very kind. I really recommend this your because they go above and beyond to give you the best experience.

Amazing experience!!!
We did the 3-day Safari, Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Lake Mnayara, with flights included. Our driver, Kevin, was fantastic, always careful when driving and very patient. During the Safari we had lunch in the parks we visited as a picnic and the meals were fabulous. We saw many animals and some very close to the car. We would like to thank Davis very much, who from the quote until we left the airport was always tireless and very attentive. It was indeed an unforgettable experience!

I was looking for a safari for myself and my daughter and came across Traipsing from first enquiry (and a very speedy response) to finalising the final itinerary was simple and quick.
In the end booked a 5 day / 4 night stay at Tambuti Lodge in Black Rhino Park with transfers from and return to J’burg airport.
Sandra messaged just before we left to ensure a smooth arrival, provided sandwiches and drinks for the car journey on arrival and even arranged a last minute change to our pick up time the night before we left.
Such an easy and smooth process, and absolutely outstanding recommendation and everything ran smoothly. Not only would I recommend Sandra and Traipsing to anyone looking to book a holiday I will also be back when I’m ready to book our next one, 5 star service!

Eric is understanding, helpful and an expert at what he does!
We had an amazing time! We booked a last minute 3 day trip to the Volcanoes National Park. Eric took care of everything even last minute and made sure we got to do everything that we wanted to do. We saw the gorillas and the golden monkeys and he organized all our trips and transport as well as a stop at a few great restaurants and local noteworthy sites. We had a great time with him and he was very informative about the country and cultures. We cannot recommend him enough and would book him again for any other activities we would plan to do in the East African region!

This travel agency is quick and reliable. If you're traveling to Serengeti, you might not know the local situation because most of them consult with them abroad. Excellent experience from start to finish
Beautiful safari with Splendid Vacation. Excellent organization from start to end. They picked us up at our Resort with a Toyota 4x4 just for our group of 5 people. Our driver was James, unfortunately he didn't speak Italian as requested so we definitely missed something in the explanations but he was searching every time for animals. James knew where to go for the best viewing and photography opportunities. He was kind and punctual. We visited Tsavo East and West and Amboseli. Lodges recommended by the company were all excellent, clean and comfortable, all with nice pools to swim in. During the safari we saw many elephants and antelopes as well as buffalo, giraffes, zebras and even 2 lionesses with 2 cubs. We also have a night safari. We seen 4 of the big 5. The trip was excellent, we enjoyed it a lot.

The best guides to the Kruger Park
We spend the month of February at our safari lodge every year, and use Elephant Herd Tours for our game drives in Kruger Park. In 2025 we utilized them for 18 drives over the month we were in Mpumalanga.
All the guides are extremely knowledgeable about not just the animals, but also the fauna and flora, and the history of the park and the peoples that inhabit it. We were fortunate to see the Big 5 on most days we went out on the safari vehicles, and appreciated the guides tailoring the rides to our requests. WE continue to be amazed how they can spot animals while driving that we can barely spot, even once they show us where to look. You would never see half the animals without these amazing men.
We recommend Elephant Tours to all our friends and family, and are already looking forward to our visit in 2026
