Fantastically organized safari. It really couldn't be better!
5/5

An unforgettable safari experience – perfectly organized by Hermann and guided by Joshua!

My six-day safari in Tanzania was simply spectacular. From the start, the organization by Hermann was seamless, personal, and absolutely professional – you can immediately tell that this is done with true passion.

With my guides Joshua and Hermann, I was truly lucky: friendly, extremely knowledgeable, patient, and always ready to accommodate my individual wishes. Thanks to their experience, I was able to witness some of the most breathtaking wildlife sightings of my life: lions resting high up in the trees, cheetahs in action, and hundreds of hippos packed together in the water – a natural spectacle I will never forget.

The accommodations were also superbly selected: comfortable lodges with great service, stunning locations, and as a highlight, one night in a luxurious tent right in the middle of the national park – so close to nature, yet with all the comforts.

The food was consistently delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and relaxed. I always felt safe, perfectly taken care of, and completely at ease.

This safari was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that exceeded all my expectations. Thank you to Hermann and Joshua for this perfectly organized journey!

Highly recommend Suricata Safaris! They provide exceptional service. You wont regret booking with them
5/5

Me and my partner just finished a 4 day budget camping safari with Suricata Safaris (July 2025).
I think this may have been the best trip I have ever been on. I loved everything about it. Our driver (Amiri) was amazing 👏, he was very knowledgeable and got us so close to all the animals. He has the best eye for spotting the animals, without the need for Binoculars, I dont know how he does it! He knew exactly the best spots to go to, to have the best views of the animals and he made sure we got the see the Big 5, amongst many many other animals. Amiri and his colleages kept in touch during the safari and they shared information regarding the wherabouts of animals which was great for us , as we were able to locate all the animals we wanted to see. Amiri was also great fun and kept us entertained during the trip. It was obvious he is well respected with his peers. I wholeheartedly recommend Suricata tours (plus Amiri). The big cats were my favourite, its a tough choice between the Lions; and the Leopard we seen climbing a tree (and back down again). We were in a jeep with 4 other clients, this was so enjoyable! For me, this was better than a private safari as got to meet other people from different parts of the world who all equally enjoyed the experience.
The food during the trip needs a special mention, Salem the chef made fabulous meals for everyone. The food was sooooo good! Hard to believe considering we were at campsites, I don't know how they did it (Salem and colleagues) but the meals they made were so tasty (plus would cater for vegetarians very easily and they even made separate foods for clients who were coeliac). The food during the safari was better than the food at the hotel I stayed at after the safari. There was always plenty of food available so you never went hungry.
The tents at the campsites were already made for us when we arrived with sleeping bags and a mattress to lie on top of. We also had pillows on 2 out of the 3 nights. The campsite had some animal visitors on day 2 and 3 which only added to the experience! Truly a trip i will never forget. Would love to do it again in the future. 😊🐆🐅🫎🦓🦏🐘🦒🦁🦧🦜🐊

Exceeded my expectations
5/5

I recently did the 4 day 3 night golden monkeys/gorillas tour with LuLu safari’s
In Rwanda and Uganda
Elvis was very easy to deal with and replied quickly to any questions i had
Smith was my guide who is brilliant at his job who loves nothing more than seeing his clients happy
By the end of the tour it was like driving with a friend not a guide many jokes and laughs were had while we were driving between locations
The accommodation at the lodges had some spectacular views and were very comfortable with good meals
I would have no hesitation booking another safari with LuLu safari’s or recommending them to friends

Desmond showed us the big 4 in 1hour!
5/5

Desmond was the best guide we could have wished for! He picked us up and brought us to the Park directly. He provided us with a lot of information about South Africa and the National Park.
After two minutes we saw the first animals.
He was able to show us around really well, we saw lions, elephants, a leopard and so much more.
He even brought drinks and snacks, so we could take a quick break in the Park.

It was a perfect tour with the sunset and many interesting animals. I’m glad Desmond was our driver and I would recommend him!

Had an amazing 4-day safari in Tanzania! The Serengeti was definitely the highlight – breathtaking views, tons of wildlife, a huge thanks to our incredible tour guide, Majunga – super knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole experience unforgettable. Every game drive was a new adventure. Highly recommend if you’re into nature and animals!

7 days in Kenya and Tanzania with Blends of Africa - a trip of a lifetime!
5/5

I made a very last-minute decision to travel solo to Kenya and Tanzania. Given the limited time I had before the dates of my trip (we’re talking days - not weeks, not months - days), I quickly reached out to a number of safari operators to get itineraries and price quotes. Blends of Africa was one of the few who responded almost immediately. Mary was super professional and prompt in her replies, designing a customised itinerary that suited my required pick up and drop off locations, duration and budget. Blends was also the only operator who provided a detailed breakdown of the individual costs, rather than just a general figure. While Blends did have relatively fewer reviews compared to other much larger operators (seeing as they are quite new), I trusted my gut and went ahead with them - with absolutely no regrets. There were a few minor logistical issues that were raised, but they were resolved early and with no further issues (E.g., 1-2 original lodges they’d planned to book for me were sold out, but Mary immediately offered alternatives which were similar, if not better).

Everything was hassle free from the minute I arrived to the time I left. My guides / drivers, Chris (Kenyan leg) and Erick (Tanzanian leg) were full of knowledge and experience, providing a wealth of information about the wildlife, people, and overall history of the places we visited. Thanks to Chris and Erick, I was lucky enough to spot all of the Big Five (plus so many other animals) across the various national parks and reserves - I visited Masai Mara National Reserve, Central Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire National Park. It’s hard to pick a favourite because they were all spectacular in their own way, and the landscapes were so varied. A few major highlights for me were (a) at Masai Mara, spotting three napping lions under a tree and a lone leopard up in the same tree, (b) seeing a pride of lions prowling with their cubs at sunset just outside my lodge in Serengeti, (c) witnessing a lion eating the carcass of a zebra at Ngorongoro, (d) having a herd of elephants cross the river, walk right up to our vehicle, and cross the road behind us at Tarangire

On my last day, I had a few hours to spare before my flight home and Mary helped to organise a last-minute visit to the Nairobi National Park, in the hopes of seeing a rhinoceros more up close. I was lucky enough to see not 1, but 3 (including a little calf!) within the first 15 minutes of entering the park.

I came with no expectations and left with such incredible memories, which is a testament to Blends of Africa’s dedication to delivering the best service. I can’t wait to recommend Blends to all my family and friends. Asante sana!

A trip that exceeded our expectations
5/5

I've only got positive things to say .. everything was great from start to finish - the transfers, food, game drives, the company and everything in between.

Whenever we had any concerns they were addressed immediately and the operators also went out of there way to ensure we enjoy every second.

Big thanks to all involved for making our safari adventure so memorable and a special thanks goes to our guide - Mayunga. Couldn't have asked for a better guide, he met all our needs and wants and easily tailored the trip according to our likings.

Friendly, professional, and unforgettable — Almasi Africa made our safari truly special!
5/5

We had an amazing day safari with Almasi Africa to Tarangire National Park. Communication before the trip was prompt and clear, and the team was incredibly helpful in answering all our questions. Our guide was not only knowledgeable but also kind, funny, and deeply respectful of the animals and environment.

The vehicle was clean and comfortable, and we felt safe the entire time. We saw elephants, lions, giraffes, and even a group of rare birds! What made the experience even better was the personal attention and flexibility they provided throughout the day.

Almasi Africa offers excellent value for money with professional service and genuine passion for Tanzania’s nature. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and smooth safari experience!

Amazing safari with Lewis and James
5/5

Lewis was our guide and James our chef for our family safari. They were both excellent and made this trip the holiday of a lifetime we had hoped for.

Lewis is knowledgeable, interesting, easy-going, organised and extremely hard working. We have a lot to thank him for. How James manages to produce varied and really tasty food (and masses of it) in pretty basic conditions, is beyond me. We really appreciate them both and would happily recommend them to anyone lucky enough to get them on their tour.

Expert tour operator who goes above and beyond for customer experience.
5/5

We joined a 5 day tour with Axis Africa covering Masai Mara - Lake Nakuru - Lake Naivasha as a group of 4. During the initial booking experience, our point of contact Monica quickly provided detailed itinerary and answered all our clarifying questions. The in-depth and professional communication was a significant contributing factor for us choosing this tour over others. In addition to email, contact is also available over WhatsApp and WeChat.

For the tour itself, our guide / driver was Ken. He gave us a warm welcome to Kenya. During the course of the tour, he regularly checked in with us and anticipated our needs including rest breaks and water (we were traveling with our parents and making sure they had a good time was important to us). He also knew exact timing on getting to the parks early to get the best sighting opportunities. It is truly the trip of a lifetime for us to observe a herd of elephants walking close by, a pride of lions tussling with each other, a cheetah lazing around after making a kill, or even spotting the elusive white rhinos. Along with these spotting opportunities, Ken also explained various facts about not just the local fauna but also the local customs and culture. The explanations really demonstrated his passion for his craft and deepened our appreciation for this beautiful country.

At the end of the tour, we even made a silly mistake of leaving behind one of our phones in the vehicle. Monica and Ken helped to make sure it got back to us before our flight.

I really enjoyed our decision to do a safari here in Kenya and Axis Africa made it a truly memorable and delightful experience.
