Touch of the Wild Beneath the Open Sky.
This 6 day trip was one of the best experiences of my life. I was able to see four of the Big Five in Masai Mara in one day. The sight of the flamingos of Lake Nakuru and that shimmering lake has touched the heart. And behind Mount Kilimanjaro in Amboseli National Park, the sight of huge elephants was unforgettable. The Bencia Africa Adventure & Safaris team is extremely professional and compassionate. Every day was well planned.

Fully catered experience
We had a great time with our guide! He was very good at finding the animals while in the park. We also really appreciated that the company catered to our wishes - being able to add both the rhino trekking and chimpanzee trekking. Both are very much recommended add ons. Seeing the chimpanzees was an unforgettable experience.
The only let down was the hotel outside Murchison. We stayed at Parkside safari lodge. Even though it was a budget hotel we had expected more. Food especially was below standard. Cleanliness at the hotel was below standard and the service was sub pair.

Unforgettable Safari Adventure — Thanks to Spirit of Kenya and Our Amazing Guide Thomas!

From the very first inquiry, we were assisted by Filipa M, our Personal Journey Designer. She was incredibly kind, polite, and professional. Filipa responded promptly to every message and carefully crafted our itinerary. Even when we requested a last-minute change to the schedule, she handled it smoothly and efficiently. It was our first time in Africa and Kenya, and although we were a bit nervous, Filipa's support gave us complete peace of mind.
In Kenya, we were guided by Thomas, a veteran with over 20 years of experience. He took care of us throughout the trip with safe driving, impressive wildlife knowledge, and great communication with other guides to ensure we saw as many animals as possible. He not only helped us spot a wide variety of animals, but also shared fascinating insights into their behavior, Kenyan culture, traditions, and religions. Thanks to him, we had an incredibly enriching and enjoyable 7 days.
Above all, Thomas is a genuinely kind, warm-hearted, and wonderful person. His personality made the entire trip even more special, and we truly believe we wouldn’t have enjoyed it as much without him. A friend of ours said they didn’t get to see many animals on their safari—so it’s clear how important the guide is. Thomas humbly said we were lucky, but we know it was all thanks to him.
We highly recommend Spirit of Kenya, and if you book with them, we strongly suggest requesting Thomas as your guide. He made our trip truly unforgettable.
