An Unforgettable Safari – The Trip of a Lifetime!
We had an absolutely amazing 8-day safari with African Big Cats Safaris and could not have wished for a better experience. From beginning to end, everything was extremely well organized, and the entire trip exceeded our expectations.
We visited Tarangire National Park, the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, and every day brought another incredible experience. The wildlife sightings were simply outstanding. We were fortunate enough to see all of the Big Five, along with countless elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, cheetahs, hippos, hyenas and many other animals.
The absolute highlight was witnessing the Great Migration and a Mara River crossing in the Northern Serengeti. Seeing huge numbers of wildebeest gathering and then crossing the river was breathtaking and something we will never forget. It was one of those rare moments where you realize just how extraordinary nature can be.
Another unforgettable experience was the hot-air-balloon safari over the Serengeti. Floating silently above the landscape at sunrise and looking down on the wildlife and endless plains was magical. The views were spectacular, and the breakfast afterwards made the whole experience even more special.
Our private safari guide and driver played a huge part in making the trip so memorable. He was professional, knowledgeable, friendly and passionate about the wildlife. He always seemed to know where to go and took the time to give us the best possible opportunities to observe and photograph the animals. We never felt rushed and really appreciated having a private vehicle throughout the safari.
The accommodations were very comfortable, the people everywhere were incredibly welcoming, and the entire itinerary was perfectly arranged. From Tarangire and the vast plains of the Serengeti to the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, every part of the journey had something unique to offer.
We returned home with thousands of photographs and even more wonderful memories. Seeing all of the Big Five, experiencing the Mara River crossing and flying over the Serengeti in a hot-air balloon made this a true trip of a lifetime.
We can wholeheartedly recommend African Big Cats Safaris to anyone considering a safari in Tanzania. An absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish.

An Exceptional Guide Who Made Our Safari Truly Unforgettable
We had an absolutely amazing safari experience with Suma, and I honestly couldn’t recommend him enough.
Suma is extremely intelligent, experienced, hardworking, and genuinely passionate about what he does. Throughout the entire trip, his knowledge and judgment impressed us again and again. When we were watching the Great Migration or searching for the incredibly elusive leopards, he always seemed to know where to go and, more importantly, when to wait. Thanks to his excellent instincts and experience, he found us some truly incredible viewing spots.
The whole trip felt so complete that we left Tanzania with absolutely no regrets. We were lucky enough to see all of Africa’s Big Five, and I was especially excited to see cheetahs, which are my favorite animals. We saw them several times, including a mother with cubs — one of the most unforgettable moments of the entire trip.
What I appreciated most was that Suma never seemed to give up. He was always paying attention, constantly looking, and doing his best to give us the best possible experience. You could really feel how much effort and care he put into every single day.
This was our first safari in Tanzania, and Suma made it an unforgettable one. If we ever have the chance to return to Tanzania, we would absolutely choose Suma as our guide again without hesitation.

Exciting
One the better experience in the live, we saw all animals of the savannah. The comunication was perfect, the service so nice and confortable; in the night we sleeping in calm into natura. The guide was the best, so nice, so amazing. I recomended all my friends and i hope to came back.

Unforgettable 8-Day Luxury Safari with an Incredible Team
We just returned from an 8-day, 7-night luxury safari with African Big Cats Safaris covering Tarangire, Central and Northern Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater, and it was truly the trip of a lifetime.
Our guide, Vanance, made the entire experience. He was knowledgeable, flexible, and so helpful throughout. Whenever we spotted an animal we didn't recognize, he'd pull out his own animal encyclopedia-style book and show us photos to help identify it on the spot. He shared endless stories and facts about Tanzania, its wildlife, and its culture, which made every game drive so much more meaningful.
Immanuel was also fantastic - he personally met us for a kickoff meeting at the start of the trip and came back on our last day to check in and get our feedback. You could really tell the team cares about their guests.
We had zero issues the entire trip. Our accommodations were luxurious and even upgraded beyond what we expected, the vehicles were comfortable and well-maintained, and the hot air balloon safari over the Serengeti was an experience we'll never forget. Every single detail was perfect - a true 10/10 from start to finish. We can't recommend African Big Cats Safaris highly enough.

Excellent service and communication
We really enjoyed our overnight to Amboseli with our guide, Ken. Communication was super easy before and during booking. Ken was a great guide and driver. We stayed at Amboseli Serena for one night and it was perfect and welcoming. Would recommend!

Spectacular !
Johan from SafariLife was fantastic in setting up my first safari in South Africa! He was very responsive and informative. The booking was seamless and easy. Unforgettable Experience!
What an amazing experience! We are seasoned safari goers in other parts of Africa, but this was our first time in the Serengeti and all I can say is … wow!
Our entire booking process was seamless and smooth. Every question answered, every need met. Mwaka put together a beautiful itinerary for us with top notch lodging and experiences.
From the moment we touched town, our driver Kantona and his trainee were there to pick us up. After many flight delays, and many hours of travel, we were exhausted! But, when we met the boys and started our drive to our first accommodation, we connected immediately and it was amazing energy. We spent the hour and a half drive laughing and exchanging stories. It felt like we were seeing old friends again. It was the best welcome we could have asked for.
After arriving in Serengeti, we met our driver John. He stole the show. His experience and skills were unmatched. He was able to spot animals from any distance, and somehow despite the time we would arrive at a sighting, get us into the perfect position for viewing and photography. I truly believe John is the reason we were so fortunate. From a huge pride of 20 lions, to leopards in the trees, to the famous black rhino. We saw it all, thanks to John.
Our accommodations were perfect. Olerai Lodge in Arusha was stunning. Malaika lodge in Serengeti was incredible. Rustic, yet luxurious. The staff there were so welcoming and the food delicious. Then, Serena at Ngorongoro was breathtaking with the views.
We also did a hot air balloon experience which was the icing on the cake. The early morning wake up is worth it for the spectacular views. Our balloon pilot was so fun and we felt super safe. From the air we saw a lion on a buffalo kill, hyenas running through the road, and tons of giraffe and antelope. Once we landed, we popped a bottle of champagne with the pilot and danced in the bush with the crew, followed by a bush breakfast. It was a truly memorable experience.
All in all, I would HIGHLY recommend Gorille Africain Tours. My husband and I travel often, and from experience, I can tell you this company is worth it. Everything was handled professionally and you will always feel welcomed, taken care of, and safe.

Great experience - loved it!
I had an 8th day safari organised, where I visited Tarangire, NgoroNgoro, south, central and North of the Serengeti. The safari was fantastic, extremely well organised with good time in every location, the guide was knowledgeable and very friendly. The organisation and the communication before the safari was also excellent - I cannot recommend it enough!
