Friendly, relaxed, and knowledgeable guide who made the whole tour unforgettable.
5/5

We had an amazing experience with Somewhere In Africa! Our guide was very friendly, relaxed, and always made us feel comfortable. Everything was well organized, and the communication was clear throughout the tour.

The guide shared lots of interesting information about the animals and nature and always searched for the best spots to give us the highest chance of seeing wildlife. Thanks to his effort, we were able to see so many amazing animals, which made our safari truly unforgettable.

The included food was also very tasty and well arranged. We highly recommend Somewhere In Africa to anyone looking for a reliable tour operator with excellent service and a fantastic guide!

5⭐️ Safari Experience
5/5

My wife and I took on a 6 day safari of the Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli parks with Axis Africa Safaris. Our experience was excellent!
Axis made the booking process easy for us, with regular communication through WhatsApp and great flexibility when it came to what safari lodges we’d like to stay in.
From arrival to dropping off back in Nairobi, we were well looked after.
Our tour guide, Raymond, was exceptional! we couldn’t recommend him higher! He had great knowledge of all the animals and was more than happy to answer all of our questions! Raymond had a fantastic eye for spotting animals and anticipating where they were going to be, getting is prime positions for sightings and photos. He also had a great sense of humour and really made us feel at ease.
Our highlight was the Masai Mara, where thanks to Raymond, we managed to see the famous river crossing, the big 5, the ugly 5 plus a cheetah all in one day.
We would highly recommend booking with axis Africa and make sure to ask for Raymond!

If you are searching for a trustworthy safari operator in Kenya, Jungleroam Safaris absolutely deserves your consideration. We booked a multi‑day private safari covering Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli, and our whole journey ran smoothly from pre‑trip communication all the way to our final drop‑off in Nairobi.

The biggest highlight of this company is its outstanding local guides. Our guide had sharp eyes for wildlife, often spotting hidden lions, leopards and cheetahs long before other safari vehicles arrived. He shared rich knowledge about animal behaviour, local ecosystems and Maasai culture, never rushed our game drives, and happily adjusted our schedule so we could stay longer for great photo moments. Communication was reliable: the team replied quickly to emails and messages, answered all our questions, and made small custom changes to our itinerary without extra hassle.

Jungleroam offers both budget camping and comfortable lodge‑based options, with fair, transparent pricing and no hidden fees. Their well‑maintained 4×4 pop‑up roof vehicles give fantastic all‑round views for wildlife watching and photography. Lodges and camps they selected matched what we agreed in advance, with decent food and clean facilities. We were lucky enough to spot most of the Big Five, plus huge flocks of flamingos at Lake Nakuru and endless elephant herds against Mount Kilimanjaro in Amboseli.

No trip is entirely perfect; on very busy safari days, park congestion can cause minor delays, which is out of the operator’s control. Overall, however, the service was professional, warm and value‑driven.

I would happily recommend Jungleroam Safaris to families, couples and solo travellers wanting an authentic Kenyan safari. They turn a simple holiday into truly unforgettable African memories.
