My seven-day safari with Viva Safaris was an unforgettable experience! The absolute highlight was our extraordinary guides, whose knowledge of the bush and wildlife was incredible. They answered every question with enthusiasm and expertise, making every day a learning experience. The accommodations were comfortable, and the food and kitchen team were wonderful. Amazing Experience! I got to see the Big 5 and so much more!!
What an amazing experience on safari organized by Zanzi tours. The safari itself was just simply amazing. The time in Zanzibar was wonderful as well! My safari guide was excellent. I would give him 10 stars out of 5! The safari vehicle had some issues, but the guide kept us safe and was able to resolve the issues with teamwork. I had a minor issue the first night is I had food poisoning (boxed lunch not properly refrigerated), but I felt better the next morning. Both nights camping, I had access to electricity for my C-Pap. Overall, I had a wonderful experience with Zanzi Tours.

Poor communication and ghosting me after the trip about a refund
I was extremely disappointed with the communication from this company and they ghosted me about a refund that they promised.
We booked our tour more than six months in advance but after the down payment, I did not receive any follow up emails to my questions, even after I wrote to them several times. This continued for long enough that I actually contacted the actual safari lodge to make sure that there was a reservation in place for my family. I was reassured when they said that the reservation existed. As for the confirmation of the flights from Cape Town to Kruger, that did not happen until the week before the trip.
The night before the flight out of Cape Town, I found that Cape Town Tours had booked my son's ticket under the wrong last name. I called and emailed and received a response telling me how to fix it at the airport, that it would cost 690 rand for the name change, and that they would reimburse me for the mistake. I sent them a copy of the receipt for the name change and have not heard back from them since despite several emails, direct messages on the web site, and also some text messages. After several months without a response, I am giving up but wanted to share my experience with others.
The actual safari lodge was excellent with excellent service and good food and they accommodated my wife who is vegan. The location on the river was beautiful and we had lions and elephants that wandered between the lodges and the river. The flights went smoothly and the transfers from the airport to the lodge were easy. There are fewer animals to be seen in South Africa compared to Tanzania but my wife and son and daughter, who had never been on a safari, absolutely loved the experience.
So overall, the communication from Cape Town Tours was poor and we could have had the same experience with a different tour company.

The overall experience was extremely disappointing. We saw very few animals, the road conditions were terrible, and to make matters worse, we were completely ripped off by a terrible travel agency.

Brilliant, exciting and very interesting. The whole experience was amazing.
We had an amazing time in Tanzania, there is so much wildlife to see. The night safari was special because we got to see a among other animals a leopard ( which was what I wanted to see)
We even had 3 hyenas wandering around while we had dinner in the bush… thanks to our guard they stayed away from us, then in the morning, baboons walking through our lodge while we had breakfast. Do it all again ✅✅

Amazing safari tour with Guide Anton
We were so happy and lucky to see the Big Five during our 3-day, 2-night safari in the Serengeti, all thanks to our experienced and super driver and guide, Anton! He was truly the key to making this trip so incredible. We deeply appreciated traveling with him and came away with unforgettable memories!

Great tour!!
I joined a 3-days safari tour as a solo traveler, and I had an absolute blast with the rest of the group! Our driver and guide was extremely kind and helpful. Visiting a Maasai village was also an unforgettable experience. Spotting wildlife always comes down to a bit of luck, but our guide really went above and beyond to show us as many animals as possible. I highly recommend giving it a try!

Safari Addicts 5 Days
Our Safari Addicts 5 day adventure into the wilderness of Botswana was a total success ! From first contact to starting and ending our safari in Maun, everthing was perfect. We would give them 6 stars if that were possible ( the sixth star is for you Alice ) ! my wife Kerry was the Delta Queen surrounded by 5 gorgeous Italian men and yours truly for the first two days. Then for the next three days, it was only the two of us with six dévoted and enthousiastic people taking care of us. Our camp set up was very comfortable with large sleeping and dining tents. The food throughout prepared by chef Tinti was delicious and plentiful. Our waiter « Onks « took care of our every need whîle keeping us in stitches as the jokes and clever retorts kept coming…
The mokoro rides and Jeep safaris were full of awe inspiring monents that shall remain forever etched on our mind’s eye.
We thoroughly enjoyed every minute in the expert company of our two guides Jeff and Phethu ( known locally as TT ).
Therefore, we highly recommend using Safari Addicts to guarantee you get the most out of your time in Botswana. Thank you Alice for all of your guidance.
