Great experience with Migada on Safari !
Begin of February my wife and me travelled a 13 days safari with Migada Adventures Tours & Safaris. We experienced this company, the planning and the performance of the safaris as very professional: From the first personal contact on the Vacation Fair in Utrecht (NL) where we met Mike (owner/director of Migada), to the booking procedure in the following week, even though we had some special wishes about the route and the highlights.
In first instance we found the all-in price a bit high, but very soon we agreed to the great value for the price, because Mike coordinated our trips very well!
The driver/guide Laurence is one of the best we ever had: Thanks to his unbelievable geographical skills we always found the right way. We saw nearly all types of wildlife (mostly even with babies). Additionally his excellent naked eyes enabled him to detect the game far before us! Each time Laurence explained the animals’ behaviour which enabled us to understand the African wildlife better. On safari we saw numerous animals in close-up and this was truly amazing!
We drove Tarangire Park, game drives in the Lakes Manyara and Eyasi area, Ngorongoro crater and Oldupai Gorge (geological high light). In the Serengeti we visited Prof. Bernhard Grzimecks memorial. Near Arusha we walked on the tracks of Hardy Krüger and John Wayne from their movie Hatari! (Hatari/Momella Lodge).
Laurence’s knowledge of the history of Tanzania and touristic sites is comprehensive.
Whenever we asked the driver stopped for any game or viewing point to take pictures.
Next to Masai markets we also visited both tribes Datoga and Hadzabe (accompanying the latter on a bow & arrow bush hunt).
Migada’s Landcruiser was in excellent condition.
The hotels/camps were quite comfortable, according to the level of comfort that we had expected.
Unanimously we would highly recommend Migada Adventures Tours & Safaris for all your safari needs in Tanzania.

The most amazing African adventure ever!
We were fortunate enough to have 5 days with Walking Sticks and their team and had the most amazing African adventure. We knew before hand that they were are more basic tour group and not a luxury lodge outfit, but that is what we wanted. We are the type of travellers that want to expirience the raw taste and smell of a country and don't mind roughing it to achieve that feeling. Old, but reliable 4 wheel Toyota Landcruiser go anywhere vehicle, canvas tent, long drop toilet with canvas sides, bucket shower hanging in a tree. The food, made over an open fire was fantastic especially since my wife is lactose and gluten interolant , but they were able to cater for all her needs. Even the small things to make the experience memorable, like a gin and tonic for the lady and beer for the man at the end of a long hot but exciting day.
I could go on for ever about how the guide was able to find the right spot for game viewing and we were fortunate enough to see some really interesting game up close. Thank you Phillimon, Michael and the crew.
If you want a real experience of Africa, it's smells and sights and not too concerned with comfort, then Walking Sticks is for you!

Review about South Africa by Laura Carletti
Beautiful nature. The lodges are very nice and organized facilities. Very easy to organize a safari and have all the necessary information.
Enchanting views of the bush. (Sorry, no speak english)

The "grid" of trenches between marshes detracted from the beauty. Otherwise awesome.

A bit crowded around cheetahs, lions, etc. I prefer not to imagine it in the summer!

Really amazing experience
This has been my 2nd safari experience. Everything went in a woderfull way. We (couple) organized all by ourselves, booking via the official website of the park. We spent three whole days driving our car in the southern part of the Kruger. We had the chance to see a lot of animals (4 out of the 5 big, we missed the lion). We spent our nights in the camps (Lower Sabie and Skukuza): both are really nice, well organized and clean, even if we preferred the LS. We had two organized safari, one in the afternoon/night (good experience) and one by walk early in the morning (not really a interesting experience). We also had dinner into the camps (good). We were in South Africa two weeks before Christmas so we didn't find a lot of tourist and we had the opportunity to maximize our Kruger's experience.
The Gem of South Africa
Took me two days to find the big 5 and saw a abundance of other wildlife including beautiful birds at the different hides throughout the park. Some places have amazing scenery like the Most Southern Baobab and the Fever Tree forest up in the north of the park. Weather was sunny with high temperature, had a few days of rain aswell but mostly clear sky’s. Chalets were clean and cleaned while driving for the day. Food is great in Skukuza and Lower Sabie but other camps like Satara was not the standard you would expect but still decent enough. We drove with our own vehicle and it was fruitful. Most leopards were spotted in the south of the park. I would recommend going to Kruger if your native to South Africa or from abroad, I can guarantee you won’t be disappointed.
