Excellent locally owned Safari Company - flexible, honest and patient
5/5

Tanzania Safari Delux, is one of the most reputable, honest and straight forward Safari Company in Tanzania. It is fully locally owned and operated, no expatriates control; no foreign offices sitting abroad. It is Tanzanian heart and sole and that is why we choose it.

The guides here create bespoke, tailored made tours according to your budget. We changed our plans several times and they were happy to accommodate changes. They arranged our internal airstrips flights from Serengeti to Zanzibar. Also, they accommodated our child on the trip which we later added. They contacted the lodges and made proper bed arrangements.

They picked us up from the airport and dropped us off at our first hotel in Arusha. Next day, we were picked up to start a remarkable journey from Tarangerie, Ngorongoro, and ending in Serengeti National Park. We stayed at different Safari Lodges, all mid luxury level and 100% worth every penny.

The team and driver were very polite. They helped with our son and were patient and attended to his questioned and playful habits.

I can’t recommend this company enough. Book with them without any hesitation. Alex will answer your e-amils and WhatsApp. And he will guide you accordingly. I transferred money to his company from abroad, and I had no issues with that. They are fully licensed and trustworthy.

Since they are fully informed about the community, culture, and the animals ; they answer all your questions regarding wild life, different species and habitats. Tanzanians are very peaceful and polite, and this company was nothing short of that.

The true definition of African hospitality
5/5

My friend and I ticked off a bucket-list adventure with Genes Adventures, and it was absolutely unforgettable. Genes personally picked us up in Arusha and made us feel welcome right from the start. We were joined by our guides, Hemed and Godfrey, who were nothing short of exceptional. They walked us through the plan, checked our gear, and made sure we felt confident and prepared.

We completed the 5-day Kilimanjaro climb via the Marangu Route, and our guides were truly 5-star—knowledgeable, encouraging, endlessly supportive, and always keeping morale high. They went above and beyond to help us through challenges (and they’re fantastic photographers too!).

We finished the climb with full hearts, sore legs, and immense gratitude to Genes and the entire team. Highly recommend to anyone considering Kilimanjaro!

Excellent
5/5

Through 21AfricaSafari, I completed a 6-day ascent of Kilimanjaro via the Marangu route. If I ever get the chance again, I would do it all over without hesitation! Everything was excellently organized — arrival, transfers, accommodation, the climbing plan, food, and support during the ascent.
Huge and endless thanks to our guide Emmanuel, who is an outstanding and highly professional Kilimanjaro guide, as well as to all the porters who tirelessly carried the equipment, food, and clothing. Truly a brilliant experience organized by these young and ambitious people. Highly recommended! 😊

The guides and staff I met were very friendly and I felt safe traveling alone. Seeing the animals, especially the lions, up close was a very memorable experience for me.

Best Tour Company in Tanzania!

Outstanding 4-Day Safari with Wilderness Insights Safaris
We are two couples from the UK and had an absolutely incredible 4-day safari with Wilderness Insights Safaris, visiting Lake Manyara, Ndutu (2 nights), and the Ngorongoro Crater.
From the very beginning, everything was perfectly organised — smooth transfers, excellent accommodation, and a well-planned itinerary that made the most of every day. Each destination offered something special: beautiful scenery and tree-climbing lions in Lake Manyara, amazing wildlife encounters in Ndutu, and the unforgettable experience of descending into the Ngorongoro Crater.
Our guide, John, truly made this safari exceptional. His knowledge of wildlife, parks, and local culture was outstanding. He always knew where to find the animals and took time to explain what we were seeing. John was professional, friendly, patient, and made us feel safe and well cared for throughout the trip. His driving skills and respect for wildlife were excellent.
We saw an incredible variety of animals, including lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and many more — far beyond our expectations. The safari vehicle was comfortable and well maintained, and meals and lodges were excellent.
We highly recommend Wilderness Insights Safaris to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania. This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again. Thank you, John and the entire Wilderness Insights team, for unforgettable memories!

Great experience in Maasai Mara
5/5

I won’t talk about the wildlife experience in Maasai Mara, which needs no introduction: the desire to see animals—encountered literally just a few steps away and in great numbers—is fully rewarded after only a few hours. Here I want to talk about the team at Axis Safari in Nairobi.
From the very first contact and booking from Italy, I immediately sense their professionalism and availability; Tabitha helped me with administrative matters and was very kind in organizing my stay in Nairobi both immediately before and after the tour. In Nairobi, Maureen was extremely kind and patient in accompanying me from the hotel to their office. Kelvin was our guide in the park, leading us with friendliness, teaching us zoological facts, and showing us practically everything that could be seen.
I have traveled enough to know that agencies with this level of professionalism are rare to find around the world. Unfortunately had a bad experience with another company, while I am confident that Axis Safari is the best one, and I highly recommend them to anyone who wants a great safari experience in the Maasai Mara.

Excellent

Genes Adventures ensured I did my Kilimanjaro Summit effortlessly. It was an organised adventure, and even my small inconveniences were attended i.e. as luck would have it I forgot my shoes and they ensured I had some for my summit. Great guides on the trail, very informative but also cheery along the way and to rhe Summit, thank you to Goddie and Hemedi. Even the potters, zero damage to my items during transport and the cooks provided is with nutritious meals during our stay up the mountain. I wholeheartedly recommend the Genes Adventures

A Real-Life NatGeo Experience in the Serengeti
5/5

John was an exceptional guide for our 4 days in Serengeti National Park. We did multiple game drives, and like everyone else, we hoped to witness all of the Big Five—and John was more than eager to make that happen. His knowledge of the park was outstanding. He knew the best spots and constantly coordinated with other guides to ensure we reached locations where the action was happening live.
The entire experience felt like a real-life NatGeo episode—raw, powerful, and deeply humbling. Being so close to the wilderness truly reminded me of the hierarchy of the food chain and left a lasting impact on me.
John was also incredibly thoughtful and attentive. He made sure I had vegetarian food everywhere we stayed, took some amazing photos for us, and ensured we were comfortable and safe throughout the journey. I will definitely visit again, next time with my kids, and I know without a doubt that I can trust John to plan everything perfectly with great safety measures. Highly recommended!

About: Uganda
An untapped delight
Overall rating
5/5

We can not recommend Uganda and Kajie Safari’s enough. The planning process was simple and pricing was very modest. The accommodation, tour guide, vehicle, food and animal encounters all surpassed our expectations.
We squeezed a lot into our 7 days, but the travel and activities were all incredible.
We hope to return to Uganda one day and see the sites that we weren’t able to cram into this trip.

Amazing scenery and wildlife.

Beautiful scenery and wildlife. Highlight was seeing around 25 elephants at a water hole. Saw all bar a Leopard from Big 5 but did see a Cheetah to make up for it!
