Walking safari - great idea and nice change to the cars!
4/5

After sitting in a car on a safari through the more commonly visited nationalparks in Kenya (Tsavo, Amboseli, Nairobi...), we wanted something different and stumbled upon the walking safari through Hell's Gate and Lake Naivasha.
Communication was really easy via WhatsApp with Joseph - he answered very fast and helped us a lot!
A driver picked us up from our AirBnB in Nairobi in the morning and drove us to Hell's Gate - he really was only the driver; so don't expect a lot of information like from a guide. It confused us at first. Nevertheless, he was really nice and after a "warm-up" period, we chatted a lot about Kenya, the tribes, languages and politics.
In Hell's Gate we recommend to pack some extra money for the bikes to cycle to the gorge. For the gorge itself, there was a guide included. He was really awesome (ask for Joseph!) and patient while we climbed through the gorge. We stayed the night at Kongoni Lodge and were really happy - the food is excellent (fresh fish, pork chops, great soups, nice desserts)!
The second day, we went to Lake Naivasha and did a boat safari - nice to see Hippos and the island where "Outside of Africa" was filmed; really awesome to stand one metre next to a giraffe/zebra.
We arrived back in Nairobi in the early afternoon.

Great day tour of a condensed park
4/5

We had the driver David and my friend and I thought the tour was great. However, we requested an early pick up at 5:30am to arrive at the gate earlier to beat crowds. They suggested pick up at 6:15am and by the time we cleared the main gate and started the safari it was 7:20am thus losing 1 hour of quality early morning game drive.

The safari was well órganised and would recommend Frank our driver and the cook provided great food
4/5

The safari tour was well órganised and the guide Frank was superb. He made it a great experience and his k owledge was excellent and was very patient. The safari lived up to our expectations and we got to see so many wonderful sights. Saw the migration and lots of animals. The camping was an experience though we didn't expect such wild animals to be prowling around our tents but we survived. Overall the whole safari was well run and punctual. The food provided was very good compliments to the cook

Good communication, fair price, wonderful tour guide (Evans was the best!)
4/5

We had a great time with Jocky Tours - from the start, the communication was great and it was clearly outlined what would happen in terms of our pick up arrangement, what was included and excluded in the package. Our guide, Evans, ensured everyone’s needs were met. He was a great guide, friendly and approachable. The accommodation was comfortable and food was good. Some confusion around water which was included in our package, we had to buy water at stages as the water being provided was limited. In our group of seven, all of us had actually booked with different agencies, at slightly different prices though this didn’t impact upon us in any way - it made sense to fill up a car with people who booked a group tour instead of having multiple cars going to the same place. We would recommend this tour agency to others, they seemed more professional than other agencies that booked customers in our group.

Very Professional
4/5

Off2Africa set out their proposals well and offered the re-assurance we required to travel to Zimbabwe. Their itinerary was well balanced with adequate space between activities and their choice of hotel in Victoria Falls and our safari camp very good indeed. A comparison cost between the Off2Africa proposal and a very similar one from Travelbag gave us about £500 saving. On the debit side I was surprised that a representative from the company did not contact us when we arrived to make sure we had actually arrived and to offer advice on attractions other than those we had pre-booked , in particular available restaurants away from our hotel. Also there was a mix up over the transfer arrangements to our safari lodge which delayed our arrival there by some 3 hours. Although we alerted the company through hotel the reception once it became apparent that we had been forgotten and although after a long delay someone, presumably Off2Africa, organised transport no one from the company made direct contact with us. On arrival at the camp there followed the expected blame game between the two managements but as far as I am concerned we paid our considerable fee to Off2Africa and they should have taken control and communicated directly with us. That said they made first class arrangements to transfer us from the safari to Victoria Falls airport to meet an early flight which gave us a much enjoyed full final day looking for animals.

After some research se choose Kiliholidays tours to do our safári. We had support during all trip and even before ( we had some questions regarding the payment, and we had all explenations by e-mail). Our guide in Dar és Salem, Isan was super disponible, kind and interested to show us as much as animals as possible. He definly make the difference in our Safari.

Great budget tour
4/5

I was looking for a 2 day budget safari over a weekend while on a work trip to Kenya and this gave me everything I wanted. Communications in advance were fine, and I was collected from my hotel as expected. Joined a small group, helpful guide/driver Simon and an excellent trip to Masiai Mara. We were lucky enough to see lions, elephants, hippos & a hyena as well as giraffes, zebras, antelope and more.
The only thing I'd say is that the actual tour wasn't run by Okoa because they put me with others to form a viable group size so we didn't actually stay at the camp I expected (stayed at Lenchada instead of Mitimingi) (which is why I've given it 4/5 rather than 5/5). But it was all fine for the price and exactly what I wanted!

Everything good and one of the cheapest rates we found
4/5

We bought 2N / 3D safari for zar 5400 per person where in accomodation was a camping tent. In terms of money we are happy as it was one of the cheapest we got in the market.

The camping tent is very very small. Dont take that if you have even 1 suitcase.

Overall happy to choose
