Wonderful holiday, custom made and completely stress free
We had a perfect experience with Makasa tour operations. We had our own plans and views on the trip to Tanzania, but Selma's advice on lodges and activities made the trip much more memorable. Without exception, the lodges we stayed at had very kind personnel and the environment was absolutely stunning; both the expensive and the less expensive ones; she definitely knows what she is talking about!
The Safari guide Makasa had arranged for us was much more than just that; he was very good companion and became a friend we hope to show Holland sometimes. His knowledge of wildlife was overwhelming, not only about the big cats and those kind of animals, but also about the variety of birds and plant life. Whereas some tour guides are more like drivers, our guide was a real safari guide who was able to spot animals and happening (like the birth of an Impala) other guides drove past without spotting the happening.
During the whole safari tour as well as our trip to Zanzibar, everything had been thought out for us and had been pre-arranged, making this a completely stress free holiday.
We recommend Makasa tours to whoever reads this, as well as to any friend in Holland who thinks about going to Afrika.

Perfect combination of safari and relaxation on the beach . Staff all friendly and their attention to guests needs fantastic and guide excellent . Not the place for seeing the big 5 but still wonderful for the experience and photo opportunities.

Amazing encounter with Africa
Thanks to Andrew, we have had an amazing encounter with Africa in its full glory. Fantastic beasts, enormous surroundings, great skies and fantastic stories by Andrew. Together with my wife and daughter, we were personally guided around the vast Pilanesberg reserve. We have learnt so much about the amazing animals, watched lions preparing their stalking of zebras and wildebeests. So much to talk about. We are grateful for the braais that Andrew cooked for us, such a privilege. Of course the great temperature during this period of the year makes everything double so enjoyable, knowing that in Europe rains and snow are pestering our friends and colleagues. But most of all, we were so pleasantly surprised by so much South African hospitality. We have learnt so much about to address everyone with questions about the day, about feelings etc. Africa is such a great continent, we want to learn much more. Now we only have to catalogue our 2000+ photos. Andrew, thanks for the lesson how to make the best photos. Your photos are by far the best on our computer!

Excellent Tour Planning
My sister and I booked a trip with Safari King Travel 5 years ago, it was our first time selecting them but, right from the first day we knew we were dealing with an expert! The email conversation was clear and on time and were able to get exactly the tailor made itinerary such as we wanted and everything looked fantastic! It was after the arrival that we realize the detailed itinerary didn't explain even half of what we experienced! The service was far beyond what we thought about! Anicet who was our private guide was one of the best professional safari guide that you can find for your African safari! he was knowledgeable, so a teacher and a guard. he is the person who is beyond answering questions "WHAT" to "WHY!" he will always give details and not only YES and NO answers. Excellent tour operator
we had an amazing 14 day trip totally custom with Hello Tanzania. The operator took the time to answer our thousand questions ! The staff everywhere we went was very friendly and made everything very easy for us. We did not have to think about anything during our stay, everything was taken care of. The best part of our vacation was our guide. He was very knowledgeable about the animals and culture. He transfered to us his passion. Overall had a great experience and would recommend them to all my family and friends.

An a mazing maasai mara lake nakuru safari

Good Value, Amazing Sights, Great Experience
It was easy to set up a tour via email, and we were able to pay on arrival, which was also convenient. My friend and I booked a group package but essentially had a private tour. There were several other companies on the same route, and I was pleased that we chose a more affordable company, as we received essentially the same services at a lower cost.
We were a little frustrated about having to pay extra for the giraffe center (we paid almost $100 each for admission, lunch, and a driver), but the experience was incredible, despite us being substantially over-charged.
The guides were friendly and knowledgeable, and if you have the opportunity to ask for John for the walking-tour, I'd highly recommend it.
All in all, it was a wonderful experience that I would repeat in a heartbeat.

Great service, prompt communication
Vacay sorted out a last-minute booking for our group of four to Maasai Mara just when hotels and camps were starting to fill up quickly. Very patient with our requests, worked within our budget, and quick & professional with email communications. They arranged a great trip for us with our private transport and an excellent driver to boot. All fees itemized and no hidden or surprise charges. We've now booked with Vacay twice and will definitely use them again in the future!
