Amazing experience
We had an amazing experience in Kenya, and we couldn’t recommend this company enough! Our guide, Timothy, was absolutely incredible throughout the entire trip. He took us to the best spots, shared so many interesting facts and insights, and made every moment even more special with his knowledge and passion.
We loved every part of the experience, from the wildlife sightings to everything we learned along the way. Timothy went above and beyond to make sure we had an unforgettable safari.
If you’re planning a trip to Kenya, we highly recommend this company and definitely ask for Timothy as your guide!

Reliable and delivered what we booked with ease
The Safari provided viewing of many animals with a pleasant mix of on the water and land. Conditions were very dry and hot ,so not a great deal of activity away from the water's edge. We were well looked after- prompt pick up time and easy border crossing - in both directions. A great company to go with.

What we liked:
- Antonio Safaris is legitimate. We found it through safaribookings website. We fully paid for the whole tour around 2 weeks before our trip, downpayment through credit card and remaining payment through bank transfer. For the bank transfer, Antonio Safaris will give the details. They also let us know immediately right after they received the full amount, which just took around 1-2 days.
- Antonio Safaris handled our extra request well with regards to an additional morning game drive on the final day. They are approachable and quick to reply on any inquiries we have.
- Our booking was from August 28 to 31 of 2026.
- The tour was private, there was only us (my wife and I) on the Toyota Land Cruiser vehicle. Since there's only the 2 of us plus the driver, the vehicle is very spacious. The seats being higher to the ground along with the big clear windows all around the vehicle made our viewing very nice. It also has a pop-up roof which was even nicer for viewing! It's a comfortable vehicle, and a durable one. We never had any issues with it.
- Enock, our tour guide, has really made this trip for us. His excellent decision making on what to do on situations, his skill in spotting animals, his skill in driving, and his knowledge of the terrain and animal behavior really gave us our best chance to see the animals. We saw the big five in as little as 1 late afternoon plus 2 full days. I'm not saying it is guaranteed to see all of them, but Enoch definitely increased our chances.
- It's one thing to know how to get around the park, which Enock really does, but it's totally another level to know the animal behavior and take advantage of that to be on the best spots, which Enock also does!
- Enoch describes the animal behavior to us, the tendencies. He also lets us know about the trees and plants in the area. Overall, the whole trip was very informative and interesting.
- What we've seen: the big 5, feeding lions (2 times), feeding lions that chased a Hyena away, Topi walking straight to the bush where a Cheetah is hiding, later to only know that it was a decoy for their young to pass by the other side, a leopard waiting for an ambush in a swamp, mating ostrich, mating lion (Enock observed just by sound and placed us there), and many more others.
- The included camp along with this tour was the Sentrim Mara Camp. All meals are buffet-style. The room that we had was very spacious and lovely. The lounge/lobby was very relaxing, it's really nice to just seat there and take life slowly.
- Our booking includes a nature walk trip around the camp in the evening. It was very nice, a very cultural walk. The guide (a person working on the camp) had us stroll around the camp, describing how the different herbs that we can see are used on their daily life, how the daily life goes on there, historical things about the people, and many more others. It's a really interesting activity.
Things for improvement
- For our tour guide, Enock, a bit of a stronger voice would be nice as there are times when he's not so easy to understand due to the soft voice.
- Another thing for our tour guide, Enock, he is so results-oriented, the problem is, sometimes he does things without orienting us on what he's doing, like if we stopped on a gate, we have no idea if should we alight, or stay. On the other hand though, he is so results-oriented, and we really loved that about him.
What we didn't like:
- In Sentrim Mara Camp, the tipping. For example, I wanted to bring my own luggage but they will insist to do so, and then look at us after waiting for a tip. Every night, someone will assist us from the lobby area to the room, and it's really awkward at the end. Worst part, when we are already checking-out, someone assisted us, and they literally just stayed there waiting for the tip so we gave them some. After that, we had a meal first, when we came back, someone assisted to lift the bags to the vehicle, which again asked for tip. What's even worse? The smirk on the face after we gave them their mandatory tip, no thank you, no smile, nothing. Totally uncomfortable tipping culture.
- I love evening walks, the problem here is, someone always need to assist you when walking from the lobby area to the room, for safety purposes. I can understand why they do that, unfortunately though it will make you feel restricted as you're not totally free, if they already closed the lights around the lobby, it feels "polite" to just head back to your room as well as they will just wait there for us as someone needs to walks us back.
Overall, I'll defintely book with Antonio Safaris again if given the chance to go back there. And 101% will ask for Enock as our tour guide again!

The service from all the staff was exquisite—they were very cheerful and attentive.

Ness Tours was well-organized, adventurous, knowledgeable, attentive and responsive.
This trip was incredible from start to finish. Ness tours proposed and planned a robust itinerary and then accommodated a slight change by us. We got in 2 days early to add a couple of Nairobi things and they put it all together for us. We felt the team was incredibly knowledgeable and gave us great advice the whole trip. We always felt listened to and taken care of. It was personal, custom service the whole time. Our trip took us to Nairobi National Park, Amboseli, Tsavo and then to the coast. We thought the value for the money was great.

My Activentures Safari was absolutely phenomenal. Dianah worked with us every step of the way to put together the perfect itinerary. She was so responsive and especially understanding when we had to make last minute changes. Our actual trip was so smooth and easy. Every driver on time and friendly. Every accommodation clean, comfy, and breathtaking. Every game drive - once in a lifetime! We saw everything we wanted and more!! Special shoutout to our guide Viktor. Incredibly knowledgeable, patient, accommodating, respectful of the wildlife and dedicated to making our trip the absolute best. Not to mention he’s so personable and hilarious! Professional, personal and flexible
Jumbo Jumbo. We were greeted at the airport upon arrival by Zahara , James, Joseph, Mr Godfrey the Chief and Mr Mrema our driver.
After the introductions it was off to a local cafe for a traditional lunch and explanation of our itinerary.
From there the whole experience literally blew my mind. We were immersed in local culture, cuisine and customs.
On our arrival to Arusha after booking into the motel we were asked to meet at the restaurant to further inform us of our journey. To our surprise Zahara had organised a birthday cake and drinks for my wife Carolann’s birthday. We met James senior, the CEO of the company and celebrated with a bottle of champagne. It was a beautiful surprise we didn’t expect.
From that day on it was eyes wide open as our safari journey began with Mr Mrema. His knowledge and experience was outstanding. Driving around this place is no easy job but he knew his stuff. Whether it was in town or in the middle of the desert nothing was an issue.We always felt safe and he guided us through any questions we had. We saw the five and some animals that others didn’t.
Jocylene and her team did an awesome job of organising our trip making sure we got the Most out of our trip with value for money. We couldn’t be happier with Great Lakes African Wonders tours and Safaris. Our trip to Zanzibar was equally amazing and enjoyable. We were always accompanied by our driver’s or a guide. Thanks to Abu our driver in Zanzibar. Equally knew the area and the history of Zanzibar.
Our flights home changed but it wasn’t a problem even though they were earlier than booked. Jocylene changed our motel and had a driver for us to get to the airport on time.
I could go on and on. Outstanding, Amazing, the best overseas holiday I have ever had 11out of 10..Asante

I went with 4 other family members the tour operator answered all my queries/concerns by Email very quickly. They provided an open topped 7 seater Toyota land cruiser which picked us up from our hotel at 0730 from Bamburi beach Mombasa. After a two and a half hour drive through Mombasa we arrived at Tasavo national park and began our Safari. The park is very large with many animals to see. At about 1 pm we went for lunch at the Voi game lodge ( What a place this is ) after lunch on for another trip in the park with many other animals to see. Before dark back to the game lodge for evening meals. ( food was excellent ) A few drinks waiting by the water holes to see what animals turned up. In the morning out for another trip to the park until late morning then a drive back to our hotel via the Masai community village. Just a mention before I forget our driver was very knowledgeable , courteous .

trip of a lifetime
my wife and I took an 18 day self-drive safari. It was an astonishing trip from beginning to end. we've spoken of making a similar trip to other African countries but it's implausible that they could top the one we took to Namibia, Go.

Exceeded expectations
I went on a 7-day, 6-night safari, and it was an incredible experience. I saw leopards, cheetahs, rhinos, and even the wildebeest river crossing! Our guide, Regy, was highly experienced and exceptionally skilled at spotting wildlife. In total, we witnessed four wildebeest river crossings—one of which was massive—and during one of them, we even saw crocodiles. Communication with the local tour operator beforehand was seamless; they were very responsive to all my questions and requests. The final itinerary was also very well planned. I would definitely recommend this to my friends.
