Review about Ngorongoro Crater by Alan Stewart
We saw plenty of wildlife but preferred the openness of the Serengeti

Review about Hell's Gate National Park by Saša Danon
Hell's gate is a nice park and worth a visit because it is one of the rare NPs where you can walk or ride a bike. Even you can not compare it with Masai Mara or Lake Nakuru NPs regarding the animals' species and quantity, but it is still worth a visit.

Great!
Manyara Ranch(3 days)- Very good wildlife- Lots of elephants; giraffe; goose; jakal; lions; buffalo; Zebra; waterbucks, stripped yeana, etc. Good and comfortable camp; very friendly people. good food; good guide.
North Serengeti (Nomad Safari camp 3 days)- fantastic wildlife- lions (big prides); leopard; chitas; black Rhino; hypo; crocks; Eland; Yena; bat eared fox and of course Zebra, wildebeest and the cross of the Mara river (unforgettable). Big variety of scenarios, from big plains to more thick bush. Green landscapes and showers during the night, but nice temperatures and sunshine during the day. Facilities at Nomad Camp were excellent and we had a feeling of being in Africa. Food was very good, personal very friendly and professional and the guide very competent and diligent.
Ikuka- Ruaha (4 days). fantastic views; very good scenic beauty. Dry miombo forest (quite different from Serengeti). Lost of elephants, giraffes; Zebra;birds; buffalo; some waterbucks; some Elands; fantastic sunsets; but we were not lucky enough to see big cats (only one lion far away). The resort was very good. great room with fantastic views excellent food; friendly staff; very professional runned; our guide Habibo, was excellent: very competent; very diligent with a remarkable knowledge about the fauna and flora.
The cons: Tse Tse flies in Serengeti and Ruaha may be annoying. We got a few bites through our clothes. So far no disease (more than one month over).
The organization (Paul Tickner)- everything worked perfect and smooth: transfers; flights; camps; Hotel at Dar-Es-Salem.

Well organized and value for money
Top cream lived up to our expectations and the actual services were very much in line with what was committed. They were very prompt in responding to our queries pre-booking and ensured that we were given all required information for us to make an informed choice. Once in Kenya, Mr. Erastus (Manager) met us a day before our safari and briefed us about the safari and set expectations accordingly. Appreciated them doing this as it helped us prepare ourselves better.
The Safari in itself was well planned. John Ngkonge was our guide for the entire trip and he was fantastic! He was well informed, communicated really well, was funny and entertaining! We felt really safe with John right from the moment we left Nairobi. Our accommodations were well taken care of and was the same as promised.
Overall, highly recommend these guys!

Potentially One of the Finest National Parks in Africa
I just spent 11 days in Kafue National Park and loved it. In fact I feel that with better overall management it could be and deserves to be one of the finest National Parks in Africa.
I saw lions, elephants, hippos, herds of red lechwe, oribi and bush pigs, sable and roan. I also saw a leopard. The birding was just fantastic.
I stayed at Mukambi Plains and Musekese Camp. I just loved the hosting and thought that the guiding was exceptional in both of them. The wilderness " exceptional".
The reason why I don't rate it even higher is because I feel that Kafue needs better overall management. I am happy that Paul Tudor Jones is really opening up a lodge and that hopefully African Parks will come in and manage it. This is a great park and I really admire the work that Tyrone Mckeith, Phillip Jeffrey, the Van Der Heides, and others are doing to support the local community and conservation.

One great journey to see the wildebeest migration and river crossing.
Weather in August was perfect, with plenty of animals to watch. Accommodations and food were generally good. Our driver and tour guide was superb. Highlights were the 4 times of wildebeest river crossing we saw during 4-day stay in Mara River area.
