Well-organised
Pros - Great communication with Felix. A reliable and knowledgeable driver. Good food and accommodation.
Cons - Could have set concrete expectations about not seeing the Great migration in mid July, but nonetheless sighted everything bar a rhino (currently endangered and in small numbers).
Overall. Pleasantly satisfied.

Good recommendation for safari choice
Our drivers Thabo worked hard to get us to the airport on time. There were some strikes on the road causing us delays. He had to drive 6 hrs with only very short breaks.

Affordable and beautiful experience
It probably is not the most luxurious safari... but you will have the whole experience

Safari to kenya
We did a safari in Kenya of 3 nights and 4 days, we found the tour consistent with what we had agreed, the quality / price was excellent, the staff very kind, and helpful, the only thing that was not good was the very few knowledge of the Italian language of the guide who had to be a guide who spoke Italian as per agreements but it was not so, even if kind and with the desire to learn, but not up to par.

Great first experience of Rwanda's Safari's
I had a great experience with Blue Monkey. Emmanuel the owner was on hand to meet me in Kigali before the safari and after its completion. The Guide assigned to me was Justin - and he was a very capable and jovial guide. He was knowledgeable and was able to find some great sightings . We managed to hit the big five in 3 days with some exceptions sightings on the final morning.

Tinyiko was knowledgeable and included a variety of informative stops on our tour.
MoAfrika Tours gave an authentic taste of Johannesburg and Soweto. We made various stops to a wide range of places. If you are interested in a more in depth look at the stops on the list, you may want to consider booking separately as the stops were quick.

First Safari Experience — Made Perfect by Felix!
This was my first time visiting Africa and also my first safari experience in Kenya. Our guide, Felix, was incredible—he often spotted rare animals for us, like cheetahs, that we would have otherwise missed. His driving skills were outstanding—truly worthy of being called the "driving master of Africa"! He always made sure we were in the best position to view the animals and passionately shared insights about Kenyan culture.
Even though my English wasn’t very good at first, Felix was patient and slowed down his speech so we could communicate more easily. I would highly recommend Felix to anyone planning a safari—he made our trip unforgettable!

A fabulous experience
We got a new safari vehicle which was huge and very comfortable. Our driver 'Dickson' was a gentleman. I did feel safe with him with but the driving in Nairobi is generally quite scary!
Our first safari drive day 1 started at 4.30pm and within the first hour we saw 2 male lions sleeping!!
Day 2 Masi mara we saw more lions (5 brothers), two cheetah, Elephants up close!! Wildebeest, zebra, topi, Giraffe. It was incredible. Everything I expected and more.
The first camp was Lenchada tented camp. I loved my tent. It has an extremely comfy double bed with lots of blankets and was very clean. At the back of the tent was a full tiled bathroom. There was even hotwater for the shower! Electricity for lights comes on at 6.30pm.
After reading reviews on trip advisor about the Golden palace hotel, which was our day 3 accommodation I requested to change and I got to stay in a lovely hotel at no extra cost.
Overall everything was amazing.
My only slight negatives were I didn't feel we got much information before the safari. I was told by the man who picked us up from the hotel on day 1 and took us to the Jocky Tours office that the journey would be 3, maybe 4hours but it actually took 6!!!! Dickson never mentioned how long the drive would be.
I also was not happy that on day 3 Lake Nakuru once you got dropped at the lake, the only options was to pay extra for a boat ride $20 and $30 for a walk! If you decided not to do these you had nothing to do all day. That was very disappointing and I felt putting the customer in a difficult position to feel presured to spend more money.
I also would like to have known that despite the temperature in Nairobi being 16 degrees and cloudy and cold that once we got to the Mara it would be 26 degrees and hot. We were only told to bring warm clothes.
Overall I would recommend Jockytours and definitely do a tour with them again

Good
I had a good experience with Big Apes Company. Even though I chose the budget options for hotels, they turned out to be very good, and their restaurants were excellent. The only thing that I didn't like was, the Company didn't give any cash money to my tour guide/driver, every time we stopped for fuel or food, we had to wait for at least 45 minutes till the Company sends money in order for the guide to pay, which was really a big waste of time and I was really frustrated.
I really recommend you to book with them, as their price comparing to the others was the best, however, please make sure that this scenario doesn't happen to you as well, otherwise, it could really affect your trip.
