Thank you Bosco
Bosco is a responsible man. We had a nice time with him. He showed us around Amazing Uganda with much kindness and modesty. We recommend Bosco s guide and the prices of enchanted Uganda saffaris.

Friendly, knowledgable and attentive to detail
We found Naomi and Gladys at Heritage of African Jungles to be warm, friendly, knowledgeable and attentive to details. They were prompt and accurate with their responses by email, and very helpful when we visited them in their Nairobi office. We had a nice tour to Masai Mara National Reserve. Our guide, Francis, was professional, flexible, friendly, and an excellent driver. We enjoyed our time with him.

Good offer for good price.
Karamuna Safaris offer lets to see very much - from Uganda's villages to nature. I took the photos of the gorillas, antilopes, giraffes, hipos, elephants, many birds. Food was OK, sometimes - very OK. My group lived in budget hotels, so hot water wasn't in everywhere, but I understand that it's not 4 or 5 stars hotel. Our guides were nice and kind. Only my special ask - don't hurry in savannah, better wait, when the tourists want to see and take pictures of the animals.

Mikumi Safari - beautifull, long travel
Mikumi park is beautiful. Just from the road we saw impalas, giraffes, monkeys, tumbas (pig from cartoon). There are many elephants also. We were lucky and was lion family - 4 adults and 2 babies, just 20 meters from us !!! We also saw crocodiles and hippos, but hippos were in the water and crocodiles just lie... We also saw leopard, just for moment crossing the road, but very close to us. We saw some zebras, buffalo, and wild beasts. No so big group but small ones. next to road we also saw vultures. REALLY BEAUTIFUL.
We were there from Dar es Salaam. just for two days. Apartment for night was in very good level.
Negative was VERY long travel to and from Mikumi (from Dar es Salaam). It was 7 to go to and 9 hours back ! Our driver did not know English very well, so it was not possible to talk with him about country and so on... And I like this.

Review about Kibale National Park by Nils
The same as for Bwindi: It was really impressive to see the animals up close. But in a smaller group it would be even better to really get a full score under bush vibe. Here the problem was also that at least 4 groups were close on each other's heels during most of the time and so nearly 40 people as on Black Friday tried to rush after the chimpanzees and take the best position for a picture. I didn't like this stress at all! Apart from that the chimpanzees were very lively and much more active than the gorillas.

Professional and very nice folks.
We had such a wonderful adventure! Emmanuel prepared every aspect of our trip to include more than we could ever imagine. He would check with us to see how everything was going. We were in good hand with our driver, Michael. Michael was like part of the family. He was filled with so much information, love and respect for nature. What a wonderful time!!!

Almost perfect but....
I saw a decent number of animals, however I was informed that I had not chosen the best time to visit the park (in june). At that time trophy hunters were operating in private concessions close to the national park. Apparently that made some animals more elusive and thus harder to spot from the safari roads inside the national parks. I was assured that this was only a temporary issue and that animals would come out into the open more when the hunting season ended.
I was also informed that i visited the park during a dry spell, so some animals had migrated into Botswana. But that they would return with the rains. I saw plenty of evidence of lions in the park but they stayed out of sight. No sign of any leopards. But did see cheetahs which was nice. There were plenty of birds, elephants, antelope, hippos, crocodiles and even a honey badger. We stayed at a campsite inside the park which was one of the best i have ever camped at anywhere in Africa. The camp faced a watering hole, where we enjoyed the sunset and watched various animals enjoy a drink and bath. Then at night we had clear starry skies, the sound of night insects and various animals, including hyenas, to enjoy as we ate dinner.
Overall i can say from experience, having visited all the top wildlife parks across southern and east africa, that Hwange can be among the best of them when the conditions are right.

Enjoyable budget safari
The communication was punctual and booking was easy, safari was good for a budget one, the driver was kind, the tent accomodation was fine, be aware that the visit to the Masai Mara camp will result with them asking you for money. Overall happy for a budget 3 day safari.
