Great experience in Uganda and Ruanda
4/5

We had a great time and lots of interesting and amazing animal encounters in both countries. The tour plan is super. We have never been so close to Rhinos like in Ziwa. Murchison Falls is a must - especially the walk up the falls is amazing. Queen Elisabeth NP also had some surprise – a herd of elephants at Kazinga channel and tree climbing lions very close. Our first Chimp trekking in Kibale was not successful, but we got a second chance and the encounter was amazing. We also had good luck in two Gorilla trekkings. Although the first one in Bwindi was quite hard (7 hours and very steep slopes) but impressive. Contrary, in Volcanoes it was like a Sunday afternoon stroll. We met the gorillas in a clearing playing and eating all the time – amazing to observe!
Due to our local guide who spoke excellent German we had the possibility to get in contact with local people and their culture and traditions easily. So we learnt a lot about the daily life in Uganda.
Both countries are a great spot for safaris and not so crowed. They can easily compete with Kenia, Tansania and other hot spots. I prefer these smaller places!

The safari company answered our questions before arrival quickly and throughly. Our guide Ken was extremely knowledgable and an expert on the area. He asked us our expectations and was able to deliver a great safari experience.

Addo Elephant National Park
In March 2017 my wife and I made a very pleasant one day safari tour in the Addo Elefant National Park. We started at the Zuurberg Mountain Village and early in the morning we arrived in Addo. We saw quite a number of elephants, sometimes in small groups but at other moments in pretty large herds with cute baby elephants among them. Some groups of elephants came very close to our safari truck!
We also saw impressive numbers of Burchell Zebra’s. This is the zebra subspecies in the Addo Elephant Park. Other large mammals were African Buffalos, Kudus, Elands, Red Hartebeests and Warthogs. Predators were a Spotted Hyena and quite a lot of Bl;ack-backed Jackals.
A Pale Chanting Goshawk sat quite close to the road in the bushes, a sitting duck for photographers! Common Fiscals were on the lookout for prey and Jackal Buzzards were soaring in the air. A large Denham’s Bustard was walking about. In a small lake we saw South African Shelducks, Yellow-billed ducks and Red-knobbed Coots.
Just outside the park on the way back to our lodge we saw a number of Giraffes. In short: there is a lot to see!

Very knowledgeable and helpful tour operator
4/5

While finalizing my first safari trip with my family I spoke to several tour operators to plan the whole trip within my budget and taste. I found Vanessa is very knowledgeable, helpful and to the point always. In 3-4 months planning period we had 100s of email communication and he responded all ontime every time with eight piece of information. He never tried to upsale and I found him very honest and transparent.

Definitely recommend him for my friends Safari planning.

Exciting 2 weeks at East Africa with Heritage
4/5

Naomi feedback
In 15 days I have covered several parks including Amboseli, Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serengeti, and Masai Mara expanding over two countries, Kenya and Tanzania. We also went to Kilimanjaro in Tanzania for a day trip covered Lake Nakaru and Lake Naivasha in Kenya. In this 15 days we stayed at various campsites, lodges, and hotels.
Naomi from Heritage of Africa spent hours over email and Facebook messenger to plan the entire trip according to my wishlist. This was our first trip to East Africa and she made it sure that me and my family, with an 11 year daughter, will be safe and comfortable throughout the trip.

During our stay we enjoyed all the parks having knowledgeable guides like Joseph, Peta, and Muini- among them we will rate Joseph the highest for his knowledge, constantly kept in touch with other guides to get the updates and his keenness to show us the best.

We landed at Nairobi airport at 2 am in the morning and our return flight was at 5 am in the morning. Naomi and Sara organized on time pick up and drop off. Time to time Naomi called the guides to make sure the tour was running as planned and their were no issues or grievances. The cars were in good condition, we did not face any problem relating to vehicles. Also in Tanzania, the land cruiser came with multiple bean bags which helped us quite a lot with resting our cameras.

Because of the knowledgeable and well connected guides, we had the experience of a life time and got the opportunity to see the much coveted African wild life including, the Big 5, and some very exotic and exciting moments like cheetahs hunting an impala, lion family eating their fresh catch of the day, cheetah jumping on top of a safari car, and wildebeests crossing the Mara River.

We enjoyed our trip to the fullest. I will personally recommend Naomi to my friends for their safari trip.

Asante sana Naomi and team.

Great experience!
4/5

Finally I found some time to write about my experience.
My boyfriend and I booked a 7 days safari, Masai Mara - Nakuru - Samburu, our guide : David
We stayed 3 days in Masai Mara and they were perfect!!!we got to see all the animals we wanted, Lions giraffes elephants foxes rhinos crocodiles hippos.
The tents were ok, I mean it is not luxury but you could sleep there

After that we went to Nakuru, which is not better that Masai Mara but it was a mandatory stopped between MM and Samburu since its a very long journey.
In Nakuru we saw diifferent types of giraffes elephants and rhinos and falso Flamingos.

Samburu was a whole differente adventure. Just being on the village was an experience, in the park we could see cheetahs leopards and ostriches, besides the giraffes lions and elephants

During the week we algo get to learn some swahili culture and Kenyan history.

We want to highlight the work of David who cared of us and our well-being during the whole trip.

Thanks for a wonderfull experience
