At the waterholes in particular we had some great animal viewing.
Overall rating
4/5

We very much enjoyed our time in Etosha National Park. The park was easy to get around in, and the people we met were kind and courteous. Animal viewing was terrific. Although we didn't see the numbers of animals we've seen elsewhere in Africa, the dry climate and associated waterholes made for some great, concentrated sightings, with some unique poses. We highly recommend this park as an animal viewing destination.

Incredible experience with Kanuth
4/5

It was an incredible experience.
The pick up to in the airport was very good. Tony (driver) and Steve (chef) are very faunny and good boys. always on time, the route was exactlly as described. Only changed our accomodation, we stayed in a lodge not at Hyppo Camp, because of the raining season.
We took 3 safaris (boat - so incredible, car - very long safari, ten hours - and by feet for two hours in the nature descovering baobab and other trees.
The night at the lodge was so incredible quite and wondering, the bed were good. Meal quality very very good, thanks to Steve.
4 and 1/2 stars, not 5 only for the change of accomodation.

We did the 3 day kruger camping safari and it was good!
4/5

Everything was up to expectations and we even saw the Big 5 (bar the white rhino). The tents we stayed in was great, with fan, power source and lights. Showering facilities were a couple minutes of walk away from our tents. We felt safe and secure. Food served was good as well and met plenty of awesome people from around the world as we chatted during dinner. Service from everyone was good as well. However, we were told that in the itinerary we will have a campfire where safaris stories would be shared but that did not happen. All in all, a great value for money!

Great lodging, good food, long van ride to actual lodge
4/5

Safari Bookings was very accommodating and worked around our schedule to provide the best safari experience in our time constraints. We had some issues with communication as we were unaware of the time it was recommended to land in Johannesbrg and we ended up having to cut the safari a day short because of it. There was a 6-7 hour drive from Jburg to the Reserve which we were also unaware of until we got in the van to make the trip at 7am. We would definitely do this again but I recommend flying into an airport closer to Kruger if you want to avoid two whole days of driving in the car to and from the reserve. The safari and Game Drives were amazing! We didn't see the leopard but the open air vehicles and guides were fantastic! The food at Thorn was delicious.

Met all our needs...
4/5

Our trip went well to Kruger NP with a fly in safari over 3 nights. The flights, ground transportation and lodge worked seamlessly together and met all our needs. Overall, we were impressed with the coordination and quality of services provided.

awesome 6 days 5 nights safari in Kenya
4/5

It was our first safari in Africa and John the organizer made sure all is in order as from the first date till we completed our safari. Every step of it he would confirm how we are. Their services are top notch and can't compare with others. Hotels, drivers and guides, were all professional. Our safari started from Samburu to Mara and still I miss Kenya.

Short Safari to Masai Mara
4/5

The trip was amazing and Nakupendakenya Safaris and Tours met and exceeded my expectations considering I decided and confirmed this trip just two days before my projected travel dates.
Day 1: Everything was as promised, there was a guide (Richard) waiting to collect me at the airport. We drove from Nairobi to Masai Mara. Richard was very good, providing a lot information about the country, people, stopping at good cafes, making sure I got good photos, etc.
When we reached the reserve Richard was very good at making sure there where good viewing and photo opportunities during the game drive to the lodge. Saw lions (on a kill), zebras, buffaloes, giraffes, elephant and more.
Day 2: All day game drive, from the lodge (Neekorok) to the Mara river and back. Considering this is the quiet time before the annual migration and animals are spread out Richard was great in making sure that I saw everything I possibly could.
Day 3: Morning (9am) flight back to Nairobi. Short drive around before flight and again plenty of animals seen.
In summary I had a great experience and got good value for money considering the short notice I gave for arranging the trip.

Very good service from Shondre
4/5

Shondre was helpful in every sense and send me all required maps etc. on short notice.
I just think that the tour operators must go and stay in each of those camps and lodges to have first hand experience. Like all of Goverment run places the park and the camps we visited were really way below standard.
The Nkambeni Tented lodge do have lovely food and dinner buffets. But every night at 2.00'and 5.00"there is trains running past the camp. The noise can wake up the dead.

Day Trip to Chobe National Park
Overall rating
4/5

Chobe National Park is worth visiting only for a day if you do not have time for longer visit. It is easy to access and reach from Zambia and Zimbabwe if you happen to spend time either of these countries. You can find real bushes and secluded areas from Botswana, but Chobe is easy to reach and services are great to support your visit. We visited there on May, 2016 and trip was organized by a local travel agency in Zambia. We were a group of 5 people from Zambia and we joined another group from Zimbabwe (6 people). The morning was spend on the river with the guide who's experience and knowledge were excellent to support a very informative drive. We had coffee, cookies and soft drinks onboard, and we saw a lot of animals in the water and on the banks. There were hippos, elephants, crocodiles, lizards and lot of different kind of birds and the scenery itself was exactly the same you can find from public websites. After the pleasant boat ride, we had a lunch break with decent food in one of the lodges were we had an opportunity to fresh up and rest. Afternoon was spent on a game drive and then we had only a group of 5 in the same car. We basically drove the marked roads in the area and again the guide was excellent. We were able to spot a lot of animals and in this area, animals are quite used to vehicles so they are not running away as soon as you spot them. If you get overwhelmed about the scenery on the river, the view from here to the river is even more spectacular with the number of elephants, hippos, giraffes and other animals you could see in the wide area. The highlight of the visit was when we spotted lions - our guide was able to drive very close and that was one of the best experiences on our three week's trip.
When visiting Chobe like this, keep in mind that it is a public park with many other visitors in the same area and there are self-driving tourists, as well. Definitely you find more bush vibe from private parks but for the day trip this was value for the money.
