Congo experience and getting there
Amazing experience in Congo, The Vulcanic crater was surreal, especially in the night, the vulcanic activity lightning up the skies as a huge lightbulb. We had to travel in a big group though, so its something you have to like. And, if youre healthy and if your condition is ok, you can carry your own bag by yourself so dont let yourself being fooled into something different.
Also it was super sweet to see the mountain Gorillas. I liked the way the rangers approached them, taking care that we didnt contaminate them and letting us witness them from real close and at the same time making sure both and our security were provided by making sure interaction between the human and gorillas was minimal, taking care of the future of Gorillas and tourism, hopefully protecting a safe future for the animals.
I didnt like how little information discovery safari offered though about the situation in Congo, prices, how things are organised, where to sleep etcetera.
Fortunately half by accident I met Barack Nari who works for this company, who made it all easy, he gave me explanation and took care of all the shitty parts, as transport to the national parks, information about cheap places, arranging visa in one day. Very trustworthy nice guy. So Id definetely recomend Barack Nari in this.

Great organizer/transport for Goma safari Nyiragongo/gorillas
Barack is very helpful for executing a safari trip in the Goma area. I was able to communicate with him via WhatsApp from Kigali, RW, planning out dates, details, and costs. He personally picked me up from the border, helped me through customs, and took me to the hotel. Transport was in a sturdy 4x4, had no problems. He also knows the officials at the Virunga park office which helps.
Although it would have been helpful if the driver spoke better English (to/from park), he was able to direct me to a music shop where I could find Congolese tunes :)
We Had an Amazing Trip
We went to Kruger to see the Big Five and we saw them all and then some. The guides were professional and knowledgeable and all the staff at the lodges were super nice.
Andre was on top of everything from the booking all the way thru to follow up and see how our expereince was. A true professional who really cares:))

Review about Moremi Game Reserve by Ian
Arriving at the gate we were warned that it was very wet in the reserve and that certain tracks were impassable, one of which was the track into the Khwai reserve that we were due to take a few days later. Undaunted we set off and although we did encounter some very large and deep puddles our initial impression was that the situation wasn't too bad.
The drive was fairly uneventful as far as animals were concerned, apart from a first ever sighting of a Lesser Spotted Eagle and the first Red Lechwe of the trip.
We were entertained for quite a while by a couple of Yellow-billed Storks expertly fishing and also by a Monitor Lizard basking in the late afternoon sun on a termite mound.
Our first full day in Moremi dawned dry and overcast after another night of rain and thunder. Little did we realize how quickly a significant sighting would be made and within 5 minutes of leaving camp we were parked and watching a male Leopard in a tree. We spent almost two hours watching him before he finally came down the tree and moved away.
We headed off to see what else was on offer, but very soon it became apparent that there was even more standing water after the overnight rain. This fact was later born out when we spotted a crocodile actually swimming in the flooded wheel tracks. OK, it was a young one, but even so, it’s not a very common sight. The day was mainly one of spotting and photographing birds, including a couple more to add to our all time list.
Our second full day in Moremi was much the same as our first, although the weather was drier and there was no early surprise Leopard sighting. A couple more new bird species, but perhaps the highlight was our first encounter with a Rock Monitor Lizard. We witnessed a rather serious disagreement in a Baboon troop as an alpha-male chased an interloper round and around a lake at speed until he had been seen off and found another tree.
The remainder of the day was again mainly bird photography, punctuated by Wildebeest, Impala, Giraffe, Red Lechwe, Kudu and Leopard sightings.
Probably the highlight was the Southern Carmine Bee-eaters. We had spotted them the day before, but this time it appeared we were disturbing potential food sources for them as we drove along. We were being accompanied by up to four birds flying alongside us, it really was a beautiful sight.
We finished the day with another visit to the Yellow-billed Storks fishing and then back to camp for dinner. What greeted us when we got there was one of the best sunsets we were to witness during the whole trip.
All that remained in Moremi was the following day’s game drive to the gate and then the transfer into Khwai. Three memorable sightings were in store for us between the camp and the gate, which strangely happened at the same location. We were watching a large group of Red Lechwe, the most we had seen all trip, as overhead was flying a majestic African Marsh Harrier. As we were concentrating on these, there was a commotion behind and to our right hand side and what was probably the largest pod of Hippos we have ever seen were running down a track to a new flooded area. Magical to watch.

A lot of safari in not a lot of time.
I have to admit to being surprised at finding such a diverse safari experience in the middle of the city. The animal sightings started off slowly but increased in variety and density as the journey continued. The highlight was spotting an adult Lion sleeping under a tree. Visiting the ivory burn site was particularly moving when you realize how many lives have been lost. I also visited Amboseli and the Masai Mara while in Kenya and the National Park was almost as rich in wildlife but alas, no elephants. It was a day well spent.

An unforgettable experience!
The safari trip with Big Five Voyage was an amazing and unforgettable experience, everything was taken care of and it was a very good Value for money, with one night in a lodge and two nights camping in the natural parks. Nature was splendidly beautiful and we even saw the big migration of 1,5 million wildebeasts on their way to Kenya! The driver was very friendly and stopped whenever we wnated to watch the animals more closely, and he communicated with other drivers to spot other special animals like the leopard. The cook made some delicious meals and took good care of breakfast, lunch and dinner while we were away. Keep in mind that a tip in the end is a common practice with Safari tours, so include this in your budget for the tour. The safari is quite some hours driving to move from one place to the other, but all views are amazing so just enjoy it! I recommend everyone to go on a four-day safari with Big Five Voyage! Especially Ngorogoro Crater and Serengeti were the most spectacular, so make sure this parks you will see! Enjoy
