Affordable Adventures with my daughter
4/5

I really enjoyed my safari! The team picked me up from my hotel promptly and provided a detailed itinerary for our trip. The driver and support staff were patient and answered all questions. We made stops at small but clean rest points and restaurants along the six hour drive. We met tourists from other groups which provided reassurance as this was our first journey. I advise all to stay at a lodge instead of a camp. The camp is very affordable and the service is nice, but if you want hot showers, wifi and less mosquitoes... get the lodge packet! Our driver James was so wonderful and nice. He share cultural info, historical facts and really kept us safe and engaged! No question was out of line even when guests seemed to annoy one another! The team kept their word on all meals, breaks, photo opportunities and more!

Wonderful 7 days 6 Nights safari
4/5

We had wonderful 7 days 6 nights safari to Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater and Lake Eyasi.

Safari was great , we would always remember Wildebeest Migration in Serengeti, the great Ngorongoro crater and Hadzabe Bushmen. The best and knowledgeable driver guide Mr Luta and best cook in the world Mr Mike.
Everything was ok.

Addo is the Elephant Park
Overall rating
4/5

This was not our first time we visited that Addo Elephant Park, but this time it was special as family member joined us for a trip along the Garden Route. If there is place you can see elephants, Addo it is the place. We are especially fond of the very young once as they not only cute, but very play full. The park has partly very dense bush vegetation, but also has big open spaces. On hills, viewpoints offer good sights in to the surroundings, at some you are allowed to exit the car. At the Hapoor Dam we could see up 200 Elephants drinking and waiting their turn. But the park also has lots of antelopes, zebras, tortoises and a lot of Birds. Predators are rather scares, but we have seen lions on previous visits.

Amazing experiences seeing the wildlife in their natural environments
4/5

Safari certainly lived up to expectations We were given many opportunities to see the wildlife. The accommodation
we stayed at was wonderful being not only clean and tidy but with very welcoming hosts. The meals out allowed us to experience not only some of Africa's food but also provided us with some cultural experiences. The main guide was very accommodating and certainly had a passion and wealth of knowledge of the wildlife. Any issues were quickly resolved The local guides we experienced were also very helpful and knowledgeable. The support team were not only very efficient but helpful and friendly

Good value day trip
4/5

I booked a day trip to Mikumi national park, where the car departed very early in the morning. It was of good value as it included everything: transport, park fees, lunch, snacks and guide. The driver was good and fun. Overall had a good experience, got to see most of the animals and big five in the park even though lions were hard to spot. The guide didn't speak English very well, so most of the time it was left to our guessing what was going on. One suggestion is that the guide should be more professional and can communicate better.

Great park for a quick safari
Overall rating
4/5

If you are in Nairobi and like safaris/wildlife, don't miss the opportunity and visit the Nairobi National Park, even if it is just for few hours.

The wildlife is rich considering how small and how close it is to the Kenyan capital.

During a 1-day visit, we spotted several rhinos, antelopes, a large group of buffalos (probably 100+ buffalos), lions, ostriches, giraffes, impalas, hippos, monkeys, zebras, wildebeests, boars, baboons and kudus. The landscape/vegetation is nice.

The guide told me that the wildlife was a bit more abundant during that particular time of the year because of the start of the Great Migration, which crosses the park. I am not sure how the wildlife is during other times of the year.

Considering the proximity to the city, the park is quite crowded with tourists.

I visited the park with a private guide/compact car.
In general, it was fine because the vegetation in large areas is grass, so you can see spot the animals from distance even in a compact car. A 4x4 or a taller vehicle would allow you to take some dirt roads and see farther, still the experience was great.

You can stay in Nairobi, as the park is really close to the city - from my hotel it was just 40min by car.
