Don’t trust Timeline Travel!!! Based on my experience, I felt scammed and completely misled
1/5

We visited South Africa in early May. We were a group of 35 people from Bulgaria and we paid Timeline Travel a total of about 81 000 USD, but we didn't get what we paid for. Mr. Andrew Machete turned out to be a brazen liar - he changed the program as he wanted. We didn't visit Chobe National Park in Botswana at all. Andrew did not provide us with a local guide except on the day of arrival. Another absurd discrepancy was the fact that no entrance fees to museums, reserves or natural landmarks were paid in advance as agreed (exepting Kruger National Park and the Apartheid Museum). This was outrageous, especially as Mr.Machete did not answer any of the phone calls, and later, even when he were with us, he kept changing the program and we had to pay the entrance fees. We spent an extra 4400 USD. Andrew repeatedly promised to refund this money, but of course this did not happen. I should also mention the vehicle we traveled in most of the time - the bus was literally falling apart, dirty, no air-condition, no microphone. One day we had to wait two hours for the bus to pick us up from the hotel.
Companies like Timeline Travel should not be allowed to provide tourism services.

Lifetime Memories Thanks to Serengeti Clarity & Our Amazing Guide
5/5

We had an unforgettable experience in the Serengeti thanks to Serengeti Clarity and especially our guide, BatzLewis. From start to finish, everything felt incredibly safe, well organized, and tailored to give us the best possible safari.

BatzLewis went above and beyond every single day — he knew exactly where to take us for the most breathtaking sightings. From catching the perfect angles at sunrise to tracking down wildlife we’d only dreamed of seeing, his knowledge of the park and its animals was unmatched.

What stood out most was his energy. Even on long days, he never let us feel it — his enthusiasm was contagious, and he carried such a positive spirit that made the entire journey feel light and exciting. He was patient, attentive, and clearly passionate about what he does.

We were always in the right place at the right time, whether it was spotting a pride of lions up close, watching elephants cross the plains, or catching the migration in full swing. At the same time, he always prioritized our safety and comfort, which gave us total peace of mind.

This was more than just a safari — it was an experience of a lifetime, and a huge part of that was because of BatzLewis’ dedication, energy, and expertise. We cannot recommend Serengeti Clarity and BatzLewis highly enough. If you’re heading to the Serengeti, you’ll be in the best hands!

Good

6-Day Budget Safari: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru – Amboseli
Overall, it was a very good experience. Patrick, our first guide, was amazing and very experienced, and Jemimah was supportive and responsive to every enquiry.
You’ll be joining different groups and guides depending on your itinerary. Keep in mind that some time may be spent waiting for others or dropping people off at specific locations.

It’s better and more convenient to pay for the tour in cash (USD). After that, you won’t need much cash for the rest of the trip, just enough for tips for the guide/driver, as well as small extras like water, snacks, or souvenirs

Accommodation and meals are basic but perfectly fine.

We stopped at Lake Naivasha (an extra $40 – $20 for the boat ride and $20 for the park walk), but personally, I didn’t find it really worth it.

An amazing experience
5/5

We had an amazing safari with Laurens as our guide. He could tell us a lot about the animals. He would bring us very close to the animals for pictures (sometimes so close that we would scare the animal, that would be my only point for improvement). He always let us know where we would go and how long a trip would take. The vehicle was really nice as it had an retractable roof. The lunch was also really good.

Patrick was the best guide we could've asked for!
5/5

Communication was seamless, price was competitive/comparable to similar offerings from other tour operators, logistics were seamless (and when they couldn't, staff was helpful and empathetic), the tour delivered exactly what it promised (allowing also for some desired flexibility) and our guide and driver couldn't be better – Patrick is the best!

Our tour operator was incredible!
5/5

We just returned from a 2-day safari from Zanzibar to Serengeti and Ngorongoro with Serengeti Unforgettable Safaris, and the experience was truly amazing! From start to finish, the service and attention to detail were outstanding.

Our trip was custom-designed, and everything exceeded our expectations. Our guide, Mr. Julius, along with the assistance of Edward, were absolutely excellent—knowledgeable, attentive, and passionate about making our experience unforgettable. The accommodations arranged for us were also wonderful.

During our safari, we were fortunate to see an incredible variety of wildlife including lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffalos, giraffes, gazelles, wildebeest, zebras, impalas, tope, eagles, hyenas, dik-dik, wart hogs, the beautiful lilac-breasted carola, helmeted guinea fowl, and so much more. Each moment was breathtaking, and we felt like we were living a dream.

We cannot recommend Serengeti Unforgettable Safaris enough! If you’re considering a safari, this is the company to choose—they made our journey seamless, exciting, and truly unforgettable.

The best Safari experience!
5/5

We were 3 days on safari in Serengeti and the Ngorongoro crater, which was really fun! And the guides were amazing! They were always checking in on us, making sure everybody was having a great time. They made everything feel safe, and they initiated to really good and interesting conversations. They left me with a feeling that they always gave their biggest effort in making it a good experience. I saw that they really had good passion for what they are doing. They also had really good knowledge about all the animals that we saw. Always coming up with cool and interesting fun facts! All together a really good experience, and I will recommend Nortaz safari to everyone who are considering going on safari!

Great safari 3 day tour
5/5

We did a 3 day trip to Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater with tents and toyota land cruiser. Great experience. Got to see 4/5 of the big five. Great vaule for money. Guides and chef were great (including Gift Tembo). Very good breakfast, lunch and dinner. I recommend to bring warmer cloths, towels, toilet paper, binoculars (not a must) in your backpack. Hotel before and after was also good with great service.
