Incredible experience, everything I'd hoped for.
I had an excellent time on my solo safari with Ways of Africa. Making the initial arrangements for the trip was very easy, and Paul was readily available to answer any questions I had and make changes to the planned itinerary as needed. Once I arrived in Kenya, they made sure I knew where to go, and communication was very clear at every point in the trip. The safari itself was fantastic; my guides Paul and Parsaloi were friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer any questions I had. During the game drives, they were constantly in touch with other drivers to know where the best animal sightings were, and as a result I got to see some truly incredible sights, including a lion kill, elephants crossing the road by our vehicle, and rhinos right outside the car window. They were also very responsive to my interests when I wanted to pause to look closer at a particular animal or take a photo. During the trip, I was further able to easily customize my itinerary, including adding on a balloon safari in Masai Mara and, upon arriving in Nairobi on the last day and still having hours before my flight, visiting the Giraffe Centre. Additionally, the lodgings were great with a lot of amenities, and the trip as a whole was a great value for the cost. Overall an A+ experience.

His ability to spot animals—even from a distance—was truly impressive. Thanks to his expertise, we were able to see the Big Five and so much more. He made sure we were always safe, comfortable, and in the best positions for viewing and photography.
We feel lucky to have had such a skilled and enthusiastic guide. He truly went above and beyond, and we would highly recommend him to anyone planning a safari.

Life Changing Experience
I had an amazing trip to Kilimanjaro, and I can honestly say I wouldn’t have made it to the summit without my incredible crew. Leonard was my main guide, and Robson was the second guide. Wilbard was the chef, Patric the waiter, and Benson, Joseph, Brian, and Uwanes were the porters. Each of them played a crucial role in making this experience unforgettable.
I’m a picky eater, and everything Wilbard made was so delicious and nutritious that I was genuinely excited for every meal. Leonard was incredibly supportive and took great care of me during the hardest moments of the hike, always checking in to make sure I was doing okay.
Thanks to Robson, we were able to spot chameleons and monkeys along the way. He was also very knowledgeable about the flowers and trees, and he always pointed out the best spots for photos.
Benson’s energy and enthusiasm always brought a smile to my face and gave me the motivation to keep going. Patric was excellent at making sure I had everything I needed and kept me on schedule for every phase of the journey.
When I came down from the summit, Brian, Uwanes, and Benson came to celebrate with me, bringing juice and helping carry my bag so I could take a break. Their kindness and support meant so much to me.
The service from the company owner was also excellent. My friend experienced altitude sickness and had to descend, but Robson and Joseph helped her down safely. The company also made sure she got connected with a clinic to confirm that everything was okay. That level of care really impressed me.
We were two women traveling together, and we always felt safe and well taken care of. You are truly in good hands when you go with Leken. I highly, highly recommend them!

Fantastic!
We did the 7-day group safari and it was a wonderful experience! The entire staff was always available for any need. Every park was amazing and we saw lots of animals. Our guide, Mirambo, was perfect!! It’s thanks to him that this trip had something extra—he was always kind and ready to answer our questions about the parks and the animals, and to help us immerse ourselves in Tanzanian culture. He did everything he could to make sure we made the most of these days.

Wonderful experience — the company was attentive to every detail and need (they even help you with external issues caused by the airline, as happened to us with lost luggage and a rescheduled flight). The nights spent in the tented camp inside the Serengeti were magical.
Our driver, Mirambu, was amazing — he guided us through a journey across the three parks of Tanzania, managing to show us all the Big Five and every other kind of animal, while explaining facts and anecdotes about the places and wildlife. He assisted us with everything, from meals to special requests and needs during the trip.
