About: Tanzania
To become "dada and kaka" with Tanzanian people
Overall rating
5/5

If you're a single woman / man and doubting whether Tanzania is safe for you, I can assure you from my own great experience that Tanzania is much safer and cleaner than many Western countries. Its people are very friendly, open and happy, even if they earn in average less than 180 $ per month. Their communication skills are very good - almost everybody knows basic English. Workers in tourism (sector that has still a lot of potential) are fluent in English and very knowledgeable. In addition to beauty of the land, food is tasty, their mangoes are unbeatable.

I did 5-day safari (Serengeti, Ngorongoro Creater, Tarangire and Manyara Lake) and 7-days Lemosho Route to Kilimanjaro (my regards goes to Kilimanjaro Heroes Adventures company). Safari offers abondance of Flora and Fauna, while Mt. Kili is adventure per se. Recommended!

About: Kenya
Breathtaking views, amazing wildlife, and the most welcoming and engaging people.

We loved our safari with Spirit of Kenya. We had lots of questions up until the day we left, and they were responsive and accommodating to all of our needs. All the accommodations were perfect - and we even went with the most budget friendly. We were quite surprised at the quality. The food was great everywhere we went. Each camp had it's own personality which was quite nice. For the most part we had peace and seclusion and were able to engage with other people as little or as much as we wanted. We also spent a few days before and after in Nairobi. I was a little concerned because news has heightened alerts. But we felt completely safe the entire time. Ubers were quite easy to get and were very inexpensive. And everyone was able to help with directions, tours, and bookings - even when I needed help navigating the Kenya parks website to purchase tour tickets. Super patient and friendly. It was a wonderful trip of a lifetime.

About: Zimbabwe
It has a natural beauty, the local people are friendly, the wildlife good but the roads terrible.
Overall rating
4/5

We used Serious fun tours for our 4 days in Zim. we wanted to do Victoria falls and a game drive. We got so much more.
What a pleasant experience! They communicated well from the start. They offered the biggest variation of things to do (boat cruise, helicopter ride, safari drive etc, for our age. (62 and 67).
They looked after us so well, were on time, showed us such interesting things, were kind and funny.
We saw everything from hippos and elephants to amazing rainbows and wild orchid's.
The Hwange Game reserve is beautiful. the road to get there is terrible and my suggestion would be to fly there, not drive.
The Boma night was nothing like you will ever experience again. Extraordinary food, fun and music.
it was the perfect start to our four week holiday .

A perfect honeymoon safari in Kenya and Tanzania
5/5

My wife and I originally booked a trip last year for 6 day safari starting in Tanzania up into Kenya but ended up having to postpone til January of this year. Seven by far was able to rebook everything without any change in price and even able to reverse the itinerary to fit our travel plans.

The trip ended up being the most incredible experience we could have ever imagined. Both drivers, David and Cosmas, were informative, friendly and a pleasure to spend 6 days with. The transportation in a very comfortable toyota land cruiser was relaxing traveling in the parks and between destinations, even on some very rough roads. The highlight of the trips other than the thousands (yes, thousands) of animals we were lucky enough to see were the accommodations that Seven by Far booked for us. We stayed in 4 different lodges/tented camps and every single place, even the tented camp hours into the Serengeti, were equivalent to a 5 star hotels service, amenities and cuisine.

The only issue we ran into was looking for an exact itinerary in advance of our trip but after speaking with our drivers it made sense. The weather plays a huge factor in the optimal areas to see as much wild life as possible. Also the accessibility of certain lodges during heavy rains makes booking months in advance tough. Seven by Far did a great job on putting together a trip of a life time and cant wait to get back!
