Explore Great Migration | Pro Guides & Efficient Local Service to Meet African Big Five
5/5

Our guide picked us up starting from Mount Kilimanjaro. Our first stop was Tarangire National Park, known as a paradise for elephants. We were incredibly lucky to spot a leopard right after entering the park. Along the way, we also saw elephants, lions, giraffes and many other wild animals.

We then headed to the Ngorongoro Crater, before moving on to the iconic Serengeti Grasslands. There, we witnessed the great migration of wildebeests and zebras. We also came across a pride of 15 lions and watched them hunt, which was absolutely breathtaking.

I had long hoped to see cheetahs. Our guide went out of his way and spent three hours searching patiently. Eventually, we found three cheetahs, making my wish come true.

Knowledgeable, dedicated and responsible, he led us to see a great variety of rare wildlife throughout the trip.

These five days were truly rewarding and unforgettable. Getting up close to the wild beauty and vitality of the African savanna was an amazing experience. I highly recommend this tour group and our excellent guide!

Brilliant Safari
5/5

We only had a short time for a safari as we were going to Zanzibar. We have done a safari in the Masai Mara for several days previously so wasn't sure about a short one but we were not disappointed as we got to see a lot of animals over a short space of time including Rhinos which we never got to see in the wild before. Our driver Wilfred was professional and polite throughout. He knew where to find a lot of the animals. He wanted us to see the big five but we didn't see lions or leopards but this wasn't due to Wilfred's efforts as he went above and beyond.

This tour operator cannot be trusted

Update to review below:
The owner, George Oketch, has today (31/05/2026) responded to my complaint, confirming that the money owed to me has been sent. This is indeed the case but it was hardly settled promptly as he claims! I had to wait over 6 months for this to happen, and only then following the intervention of the Kenyan Tourist Regulation Authority and KATO. This operator is not to be trusted.

I had travelled 6 times with Right Choice since 2021 and always had exceptional service. However, on our trip in November 2025, my companion was asked by the owner if she would pay for Amboseli park fees as he had been unwell and it was Sunday! As I trusted him completely, I assured her that he would pay her back the following day as he promised. This did not happen! No reimbursement has been forthcoming and my companion is owed the equivalent of £490. Also, we had paid for 3 internal flights but only 1 materialised. Two were "unavailable" so we had to travel by road. We are now owed refunds for the flights we didn't have but, unsurprisingly after our experience with the park fees, no money has been received and now our emails are being ignored. What shabby treatment of a loyal regular client by retaining a significant sum of money to which Right Choice's owner is not entitled.

Amazing Experience
5/5

A huge thank you to Derrick for making the second half of our safari so memorable.

From the moment we joined his vehicle, he was friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. He always kept us informed about the daily plans, happily answered our many questions, and shared fascinating insights about the wildlife, parks, and local area throughout the trip.

What really stood out was his experience and remarkable ability to spot animals. Thanks to his sharp eye and expertise, we enjoyed some amazing wildlife sightings that we might otherwise have missed. He also created a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere in the group, making long days on safari both fun and comfortable.

Our visits to Lake Nakuru, Naivasha, and Amboseli were fantastic, and Derrick played a big part in making those experiences so special.

We would highly recommend Derrick to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, friendly, and dedicated safari guide. He truly helped turn a great trip into an unforgettable one.

Best tour ever!
5/5

Our safari with Zohar was fantastic! We traveled to Tanzania in February 2026 and everything couldn’t have been better or gone smoother. Lilian and her team created a great itinerary and was very easy to communicate with before, during and after our trip. Our guide, Solomon, had a keen sense of where to find animals and could interpret what was going on by watching other animals. For example, just by looking at the zebras, Solomon knew they were watching something and then we would find that something, like a cheetah or lion. Solomon also made sure we had the best views of everything! The accommodations were fun and comfortable. The meals at the lodges and out on safari were delicious. It was amazing to be eating lunch with giraffes walking by out in the middle of the bush! I could go on and on about our wonderful Zohar safari! We would go back in a heartbeat! Worth every penny!

I love this expedition of 6 days in Kenya. We didn’t go in the best season (may) to see lots of animals but we were lucky as I saw lots of baby and multiple species. Our guide sir Charles was very nice and made this experience even more special

Look No Further Than Leopard Orchid Safaris!
5/5

We recently travelled with Leopard Orchid Safaris on their 6-Day Ultimate Mid-Range Safari Adventure, and it was genuinely one of the most memorable family holidays we have ever experienced. From start to finish, every aspect of the trip exceeded our expectations, and we would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering a safari in Kenya.

The experience began long before we arrived in Kenya. After finding Leopard Orchid Safaris through Safari Bookings, the booking process was incredibly smooth and professional. Our tour consultant was responsive, knowledgeable, and always willing to assist, even when we had questions and requests within tight timeframes. Communication was clear throughout, which gave us great confidence when planning an international family holiday.

Upon departure from Nairobi, we received a wonderful surprise when we were met at our hotel not only by our safari guide, but also by the tour consultant and company director. Their personal welcome immediately demonstrated how much they value their guests. We were even presented with branded safari hats and reusable drinking bottles, which was a thoughtful touch and set the tone for the adventure ahead.

Over the six days, we travelled through some of Kenya’s most spectacular national parks and reserves. Each destination offered something unique, from vast open savannahs and rolling grasslands to dramatic landscapes and breathtaking scenery. Every park had its own character, wildlife, and atmosphere, making each day feel like a completely new adventure.

A huge part of what made this safari so special was our guide, Sammy. His knowledge of the wildlife, geography, culture, history, and people of Kenya was exceptional. Throughout the journey he shared fascinating information that transformed simple wildlife sightings into meaningful learning experiences. His passion for his country and conservation was evident in every conversation.

What impressed us most was how welcoming and personable Sammy was. Travelling as a family with a young daughter, we naturally hoped she would enjoy the experience, but Sammy went above and beyond to ensure she felt included and engaged every day. His patience, kindness, and sense of humour quickly made him feel more like a family friend than a guide. Our daughter still talks about him and the adventures they shared spotting animals across the parks.

Sammy’s expertise in the field was truly remarkable. He demonstrated an incredible ability to navigate the reserves, locate wildlife, and position us perfectly for viewing opportunities while avoiding large crowds wherever possible. His understanding of animal behaviour and knowledge of the parks allowed us to enjoy numerous close encounters and unforgettable moments. Thanks largely to his efforts, we were fortunate enough to see and photograph all members of the famous Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino. Achieving this within six days felt extraordinary and was undoubtedly a testament to Sammy’s dedication and skill.

As first-time safari travellers selecting the Mid-Range option, we weren’t entirely sure what to expect regarding accommodation and facilities. However, the experience felt far more luxurious than we anticipated. The Sopa Lodges we stayed in were fantastic, offering spacious and comfortable rooms, beautiful grounds, excellent facilities, and stunning views. Many mornings and evenings were spent watching wildlife directly from the lodge surroundings, which added another special dimension to the experience.

The food throughout the trip was consistently excellent. Whether enjoying extensive buffet meals at the lodges or picnic lunches during game drives, there was always a wide variety of fresh and delicious options available. The lodge staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and accommodating, making us feel genuinely welcomed wherever we stayed.

Beyond the wildlife, what stood out most was the warmth and hospitality shown by everyone we encountered. From the Leopard Orchid Safaris team to the lodge staff and local people we met along the way, there was a genuine sense of care and pride that made the journey even more enjoyable.

Looking back, this safari provided everything we could have hoped for and more—spectacular wildlife sightings, incredible scenery, comfortable accommodation, seamless organisation, and memories our family will cherish forever. Leopard Orchid Safaris delivered an experience that was professional, personal, and truly unforgettable.

If you are considering a safari in Kenya, we wholeheartedly recommend Leopard Orchid Safaris. Their attention to detail, exceptional customer service, outstanding guides, and carefully planned itineraries create an experience that is difficult to fault. This certainly won’t be our last safari, and when we return to Kenya, Leopard Orchid Safaris will be at the very top of our list.

Five stars and highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
