Such an amazing experience with Kihindo Tours and Safari
5/5

From the start Kihindo Tours and Safari were very efficient with Winnie giving advice on what would be the best Safari option for time of year - Mikumi 3 day. Good collection from the airport and helpful navigating the area. Isaya was an excellent guide for the 3 days. Location and accommodation was great. Godfrey was a good driver for the Safari day. The company is amazing with the attention to detail and care. Would definitely recommend to anyone for transport and safaris. Thank you for an amazing experience

If you're a wildlife enthusiast, a trip to Uganda with Gorrila Trekking should be in everyone bucket list. Reagan and his team made it perfect and really crafted a great and flexible itinerary for this once in a lifeline experience. Special shout out to Richie who drove me around through the highs and lows of the Ugandan roads for 5 days. I cannot recommend Dav Safaris enough for your Ugandan trip, I would absolutely book recommend them to all my family and friends.

Perfect to the last detail
5/5

We've never used a tour operator for a holiday before but felt a bit intimidated about booking our first safari as we felt there was a mountain of inside knowledge we didn't have. Wayfairer gave us some absolutely essential advice about our options and this is the main reason we chose them above all the other operators. Then, once we had committed, not only did they understand exactly what we wanted and how to make it happen, but also provided unbelievable value for money while doing it. We had the experience of a lifetime and every detail was perfectly calibrated to the holiday we had asked for. I don't think you can get a better experience, with staff who are so knowledgeable and look after you so well, anywhere else. I would recommend Wayfairer to anyone and would definitely use them again in a heartbeat.

Twenty Stars

I cannot recommend enough going on a safari here and especially with Raymond as your guide/driver! Not only is he fun, his adventurous and humor makes your trip so very memorable and exciting. He will go above and beyond to make sure you get to see what you want and the up close views and excellent camera shots of the animals in their natural habitat.

Additionally, the accomodations are great and the hosts are quite lovely - all very kind and welcoming! The food is extremely nourishing and filling.

For the price that you are paying, it’s truly an excellent deal and I am beyond grateful I decided to go on a safari here with Raymond!

Once in a lifetime opportunity
5/5

I was fortunate enough to visit multiple parks and various lodges on my Northern Safari as we did a circuit. Apart from the absolute abundance of wildlife on our journey I was also amazed at how each lodge offered something unique and special which really means that you are able to relax each evening and enjoy a good meal and sleep before heading out on safari each day. We stayed at Africa Safari Arusha for one night on arrival and one night on departure which was great as we were able to rest just before and on return from our safari before heading back to Zanzibar. With lush gardens, a great little bar and a fab swimming pool, Africa Safari Arusha is a little haven on the outskirts of a bustling city. Onto Africa Safari Lake Manyara which is a resort style property offering a variety of luxury tents and lake front bungalows in a resort style setting – you can easily spend more than one night here. The animals roam amongst the accommodation and the breeze that comes off the lake is so refreshing. Next as we were heading further to the north was Africa Safari Karatu, which is modern accommodation elevated overlooking the Ngorongoro Highlands. The restaurant and bar have 180-degree views and the swimming pool is just makes you want to jump in! This was our access point to the Ngorongoro Crater. What an amazing experience overlooking the magnificent crater – it honestly looked like the Garden of Eden as you saw the animals (including elephants) all living in harmony. We had a great lunch on the rim of the crater – it was a hot meal which wasn’t expected. Then it was onto the Serengeti – again a totally different terrain and a haven for all sorts of animals! This is where you really understand the ‘Plains of Africa’ as there are parts where there isn’t a tree in sight! We were fortunate to witness a migration here (I didn’t realise that the the migration is year-round which is why it’s great to do a circuit because at some stage you should be able to see this phenomenon). That night was at Africa Safari South Serengeti, just a short drive away from Lake Nduti so as you arrive you are able to see all sorts of wildlife, hippo, elephants, birds along the lake. We stayed in beautiful tents and were treated to all the luxuries and amenities of a hotel, including fabulous meals, right in the Serengeti! Africa Safari Ikoma was the next stop for lunch en route further up north. We enjoyed a peaceful lunch overlooking the African plains of (you can just imagine how magnificent it must be when the migration passes here). This evening’s accommodation was at Africa Safari Maasai Boma – the unique trait of this lodge is the Maasai style ‘rondavels’ you stay in (with all the amenities you need to make your stay super comfortable) and the views from the dining area are just beautiful. We then headed back to Arusha via Lake Natron where Africa Safari Lake Natron is an oasis in a somewhat dramatic landscape – overlooking the alkaline Lake Natron and looking onto a volcano (the brave and fit can climb the volcano). Our wonderful driver Justin was knowledgeable, gracious, patient and just an all-round fun companion on our safari. Each lodge had friendly, accommodating team members and the accommodation was of an excellent quality throughout our trip. When you consider all your park fees, accommodation, transport and meals are included this is excellent value. I wish it had been longer and I would love to return some day soon. Thank you for the memories!

We had not so many days in Tanzania but we're looking forward to visiting Ngorongoro. We decided to book the one-day tour to the Ngorongoro crater and the experience was awesome! The crater itself is amazing by its own, but in addition you spot plenty of animals in it, and the result is overwhelming, one of those special places. We could see lions, zebras, buffaloes, hyenas, hippopotamus, rhinos, antelopes, ostriches... The tour starts early in the morning in Arusha, a car picks you up at 5am at the hotel, and ends at about 7pm. Ngorongoro is a 3h drive away from Arusha. Lunch is included and water too. The staff is totally professional and the tour absolutely recommended!

One-day tour to Ngorongoro crater.
5/5

We booked the one-day tour to Ngorongoro crater from Arusha and had a great experience. We paid a 20% deposit on-line at the moment of the booking. We arrived in Arusha the day before and Gasto showed up at our hotel in order to comment the tour, answer any questions we could have and collect the rest of the money. Next morning a car was waiting for us at 5am and we travelled for 3h to the Ngorongoro gate. The visit was amazing, the place is gorgeous and we could spot plenty of animals. Our guide was a fine tracker, he was able to spot rhinos at a great distance and he pointed out those less "commercial" animals such as birds or small mammals, wich was really interesting. We found elephants, hippos, buffaloes and plenty of lions too. We had a nice lunch (unfortunately in the car as it rained for an hour or so), and afterwards we started our way back through the crater. We were back at the hotel at about 7pm. If you don't have so much time and you don't mind to spend some hours in the car, this tour is highly recommended.
Last but not least, Gasto managed our bus tickets to Dar Es Salaam and went to the bus station early in the morning to give us the tickets - thank you again!!

Excellent

I did a 7-day tour of Rwanda and Congo and it was exceptional. I was a solo female traveller and felt completely safe the whole time. I visited the gorillas in Kahuzi Biega National Park (Congo) which was definitely one of the highlights of the entire trip! The vibe in Congo is totally wild so be prepared! :D My guide Freddy and driver Claude were so kind and professional and always made sure I had everything I needed for the day. On days where there were fewer activities, Freddy arranged to drive around Bukavu and the surrounding villages to visit interesting sites because I told him I love being immersed in a new city to see how people live and just soak in the atmosphere. When I headed back to the Rwanda side, Taufique was at the border to pick me up and everything went as smoothly as the first crossing. I got to visit Nyungwe National Park for several activities including tracking chimpanzees (amazing!!), hiking to a waterfall (beautiful!!!), and another hike through one of the most spectacular landscapes I’ve ever seen. My flight home wasn’t until the night after the tour ended so Taufique arranged a day tour of Kigali which was fantastic! The people, hotels, food, the whole thing was fabulous. Highly recommend! Remember proof of Yellow Fever vaccination and mosquito spray :))

Exceeded our expectations
5/5

We spent a wonderful 4 days in Greenfire lodge..the accommodation was very comfortable and the rooms have a perfect view over the dried up ( when we were there) riverbed to watch elephants and buffalo wandering through.
The staff could not have been more helpful, and the food first class.
The game viewing was spectacular with Ranger Victor using his tracking skills to find all ‘ the big five’ and much more.
The location is perfect about an hours drive into the Balule reserve, with huge expanse of bush and very few other lodges in the vicinity. We have stayed in several Kruger lodges and this one is the best by far..

We’re glad we booked via Kruger Safari Co, booking a package through them was seamless and were on hand to answer all our questions whilst we were researching and then finally booking. The experience was wonderful! Would recommend Kruger Safari for sure for a Kruger stay !
