Choose Wakanda for the best possible safari experience!
We have just finished a 5 day private safari with Wakanda. We chose Wakanda because they were the only company who could quote for a one way safari ending near Lake Victoria. Bartho was very helpful and patient while we planned our safari and gave us lots of options and a very competitive price.
We had the good luck of having Felix as our guide and Abdullah as our chef. Together they provided us with the most amazing experience we will never forget. Felix is friendly, kind, patient and incredibly experienced and knowledgeable. He made sure we saw the best that the different parks had to offer, depending on the season. He knows everything there is to know about the animals and did some amazing, long driving days in tricky conditions to show us everything he could. He also has integrity, and did not venture off road like many other operators did- however this did not stop us seeing anything. Even after getting up for a 6am game drive he was happy and chatty for the rest of the day and answered all our questions.
Abdullah is the most amazing chef with a real passion for the food he prepares. He made us fantastic meals 3 times a day, different every time. They were delicious and interesting and he used lots of different ingredients. The only problem was he fed us too well! He is also a lovely guy who really cares about what he does. We were travelling with our 5 year old son and Felix and Abdullah were so kind to him too, he absolutely loved them both.
We can not praise Wakanda highly enough, it really is a 5 star service that cares about its guests. The accommodation (tents) was better than expected and really comfortable. The jeep was awesome with it's own minibar!
But it was the people who made it unforgettable. We cannot recommend them highly enough. Asante Sana!

Most amazing place at ndzuti bush camp
Communication was good, trip was well prepared.
If you have the chance go to ndzuti bush camp. They are the most amazing people, taking so much care of their guest. It was an abolsute pleasure to stay there. Comfortable beds, good food and unique safari experience

Very nice experience !! Nelson was welcoming and very professional, although we had a problem at arrival time and airport he arranged for us and got us a driver even after few hours delay and airport change. The safari was amazing, food was diverse and good quality. Definitely recommended!!

John made a great programme for the 5 day safari, seeing Tarangire. Ngorongoro and Serengeti. We stayed at really wonderful hotels and tented lodges. Our guide Shiraz was the best, he is a great guide, driver and a nice companion. He knew everything about the animals, the nature, its history and he knew the best private spots to see animals but also to experience the greatness of the nature. We have seen lions with cubs, stood close to a groubof lions, elephants, giraffes, gazelles, even stood beside a cheetah who was on the hunt. And much much more. Everything was taken care of for us, it was a really great experience!

Excellent Planning and Delivery of Extraordinary Adventures in South Africa!
My trip in November, 2023 was my second trip to South Africa with Go Touch Down Travel - I loved it so much the first time when I went six years ago that I decided to go back! We started with a week on safari, staying at two amazing lodges in private game reserves, with first class accommodations and delicious food. Our safari guides at both resorts were excellent spotters and made the morning and afternoon safari excursions fun and very informative.
The second week, we traveled to Cape Town and stayed at three different top notch lodges in very different locations. The excursions each day were well planned and interesting and our guide managed the schedule to get the optimum experience at each site, avoiding lines and traffic to make our days run smoothly. I always felt safe and was comfortable going out for morning walks at each of the three places we stayed.
I love the model which Go Touch Down uses: having 6 or fewer guests to a guide and providing meals and inclusive of entrance fees at various venues visited. When inclement weather dictated a change in plans, our guide was flexible and accommodated our group's choice of an alternative activity.
I would highly recommend Go Touch Down for travel to South Africa - they pay attention to all of the planning details so that I could simply enjoy being in the amazingly beautiful country!

Experience of a lifetime!!
7 day your was above and beyond our expectations! The accommodations, food, guiding, and experiences was far beyond what we thought we would see and do!! David or guide was phenomenal, knowledgeable, and we'll connected to the people of Uganda which I feel gave us an edge on where we stayed and maximized the amount of animals we saw, the perfect timing on seeing the chimpanzees and the gorillas.
We would highly recommend David and Ngoni Safari!!
