Proffesional and costumer well taken care
5/5

They picked us up at Kilimanjaro airport at 9pm (the driver was waiting for us at the entrance). The vehicle was very comfortable and when we arrived at thd lodge, we were given the briefing for the safari next morning. Everything was well organized and they know how to keep the costumer happy and comfy. They knew where and how to spot different animals (even those that where almost invisible). I trully recommend Suricata safaris

5 days of safari
5/5

Great experience! A very well run program. No problem, we saw the big five! With a French-speaking guide, who explained the country's culture, history, lifestyles, hunting and animal migration patterns.

A cook at our disposal and available!

Wonderful 7-day-safari
5/5

We had a wonderful 7-day-safari through Tsavo West, Tsavo East, Amboseli, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara Nationalpark. Allan organized our whole costumized safari in only 2 days as we booked very spontaneously! The communication per mail was very good, he always responded immediately. Simon is the perfect driverguide with his excellent knowledge about the nature, animals and local culture as well as the best spots for great animal sightings. Also he never rushed but gave us enough time for watching animals and taking pictures. Not only did we see all Big Five but also many many other animals. The accomodations we had were amazing. As we are on a vegan diet, Allan made sure that we had all vegan meals. We recommend to book a Safari with Back of Africa Adventure 100%!!!
Thank you very much for a wonderful time!

Trip of a lifetime!
5/5

Tanzania Exclusive Journeys provided the best experience possible from the very start when tailoring the itinerary with Jane through to the actual safari with a highly professional guide in Marc! As a solo traveller I had the safari to myself and loved every minute of it. The accommodation they selected was amazing both with locations and comfort. Ally was extremely knowledgeable and provided great insight into history, culture, flora and fauna. Obviously the highlight being able to see the Big 5 and plenty of other animals running wild in their environment. I will definitely be a repeat customer. Thanks for a memorable time guys.

A great experience
5/5

I am really grateful for the communication with Almighty Kilimanjaro and Rasheedy from the get-go as I got all the information I needed about the trip right from the start and this helped me in planning what I needed for each day of the climb. Though there was frustration regarding getting my referral visa, it turned out okay as I did not need to apply as early as the embassy website noted and it turned out that Almighty Kilimanjaro's timing for sending me the documents I needed wasn't late after all. Rasheedy was always responsive when I asked questions and that's appreciated as well.

Now for the actual climb, meeting the team was great and everyone was always extremely friendly (especially since I ended up being the only one for the climb, I definitely felt a ton of attention, which I may not be so used to but everyone was doing their job at the end of the day so I'm grateful for that). Emmanuel was an attentive lead guide who seemed to know his stuff and pointed out interesting facts, flora (not so much fauna out there over this period) and much more. He also made sure we always left early and beat the crowds, which made everything much easier. Joseph, the assistant guide, was always super friendly, constantly smiling and helpful. Evans, the chef, was always enviably calm and also friendly, which I really admired. Always great to watch him swiftly move from cooking one dish to the next. I just feel bad I couldn't eat much as we got higher and I definitely wish I had all that delicious food now that I am back on the ground. Babelu (waiter) was always respectful and always helpful even when I got grouchy when things got harder for me and Daudi, Michael & Bam (porters) were amazing all through, though I couldn't speak to them as much due to the language barrier. Sadly, Michael had to leave a bit early due to problems at home, hope all is well now.

All in all, without this team and their support, I never would have made it to the top especially in the last 3 days when aches and pains starting creeping up from everywhere. Only thing I'd say is maybe for my peace of mind, it might have been good to take my oxygen levels twice a day. I understand that the lead guide was not too worried about me because he knows his stuff and could tell I would be fine based on my symptoms and since I was the only one, he knew more about how I was feeling on a daily basis compared to people in groups; but seeing those levels too may have made this clear to me as well instead of imagining all sorts in my head as we often do when we are faced with new challenges. But all's well that ends well and since I did get checked a number of times during the trip, I am sure if I had just asked for more checks to calm my mind, the team would definitely be fine with that. So it's just a matter of good communication.

I'm really happy I made it to the top with Almighty Kilimanjaro and look forward to my next Safari adventure with them.

Twinkle Star is client-oriented, flexible and offers high value tours.
5/5

I am currently a resident in Kenya and my brother David visited me over the Christmas - New Years' holiday. We spent most time with our friends in Narobi and at the coast, but also wanted to make a safari to a national park which was a completely new experience to my brother. I wrote to some safari companies and James very quickly responded to offer detailed solutions for the planning of our safari and time line as we envisioned it. We eventually settled for a four-days trip from Nairobi to the Maasai Mara. Our resort was a very beautiful luxury tented camp with a fantastic view over the planes and very friendly and accommodating staff. Our safari guide Simon was very experienced and knowledgeable and took us for a couple of unforgettable game drives through the Mara where we got to see the big five in addition to many other animals. The organizer also accommodated our request for a morning safari walk and we visited a Maasai village on the second afternoon. We will definitely consider to choose Twinkle Stars again for future safaris.

Top class concierge travel facilitators!
5/5

I worked with Clyde. I could not have asked for a better service. Besides making a fantastic safari itinerary, he made sure our trip was flawless in real time. He was our guardian travel angel always looking over us!
We did not book our airline tickets from the USA to Zimbabwe through Tailormade but Clyde was there to solve our problems real time. Our departing fright was canceled and the airline said that the best they can do is rebook us for the next day. I texted Clyde that unfortunately we would be a day late. Within five minutes he sent us an alternative rout that the airline could rebook us on. I showed the flight proposal to the airline desk and sure enough they could rebook us without any delays. Clyde had made sure we had a person greet us at the plane upon arrival in Johannesburg. Very professional service! The concierge walked us through the airport & immigration in a breeze. Clyde must have been checking all arrivals and departures. We received a welcome text upon every landing and well wishes with every takeoff.
Our experience in the safari camps was fantastic. Clyde had chosen the best fit for us. And thank you for the personalized notes in each camp!
I would highly recommend Tailormade Africa and Clyde specifically! We didn't have a single thing to worry about and felt pampered!
